wait ooo what are pastors scared of? The same pastors that were protesting during Jonathan's tenure, same pastors that were ranting when government made mention of CAMA are now too powerful to lend their various church members their voices. Was christ this selfish and wicked?what's the difference between pastors and Nigeria government?Nigeria Christians are bunch of lame hypocrites and they are suffering from mental slavery in the name of religion.
You just said absolute rubbish.

The guy said, that pastors have been lending their voices for different causes. When most of them lend their voices, you are the ones that will still abuse them.

They lent their voices while you were busy sitting at home on Twitter in times past.

I am sure now you didn't even go out on the streets to protest. But everyone one else is a hypocrite but you.

Most of the protesters out there are they not Christians? or they are only muslims? Some of you need to think before you talk.

You guys should stop bringing your sentiments to this matter.

Jesus clearly showed the purpose for His house when he made a whip of cords for those using the temple for anything other than what it was made for.

The Church is a place where people go to worship God as a gathering. Not for a place for your protests. Go to the streets if you want to protest.

God is holy and He must be honoured.

There is nothing wrong if christians take part in the EndSars campaign but the church building is not for protests...protests are done on the streets, don't disrupt the spirit of God.
There is so much rubbish happening among so called Christians in this country.

How can you carry protest to church?

The church is a house of prayer and worship. This is the reason why Jesus had to make a whip of cords.

LoL! OK so he was killer by proxy just like lawyers and judges are killers by proxy, I get you. LMAO!
Finally, you are starting to have some sense.

Now, to increase the sense all the more:

When lawyers judge someone to be killed (good lawyers) they do it because the person is deserving. Mostly a murderer.

Christians then were not murderers or committed any crime. Rather they were preaching love. But out of envy, they were killed.

The highest court (In the heavens) then declared these Jews murderers.

Who are you O man, to go against what God the righteous judge has declared.

This is what Paul spoke of after His revelation from Jesus.

This is what you are in denial of.

Hope you have sense now.

LMAO! Why are you projecting your lack of ideas onto me? Bwahahahahaha!
Apart from the fact I was just tryna help you have knowledge of history,

Let me help you, by breaking things down so you can understand. (Cause its tough for you).

Actually I won't, I will just give you clues to understanding what you quoted.

The scriptures say:

Acts 3
13The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God of our fathers, has glorified his servant Jesus. You handed him over to be killed, and you disowned him before Pilate, though he had decided to let him go. 14You disowned the Holy and Righteous One and asked that a murderer be released to you. 15 You killed the author of life

Revelations
"Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen."

Why were the crowd of Jews being addressed accused of killing Jesus?

How many people pierced Jesus?

Employ some deductive reasoning and eventually you will get it.

May God help your understanding.

Ok so you were lying when you posted the previous Acts 22:4 quote?

When a lawyer prosecutes a criminal and earns the criminal a death sentence, you never say the lawyer killed the criminal. Except of course you are a revisionist with an agenda.
Also let me educate you small on some Jewish history.

Paul was a Pharisee. But a high ranking Pharisee who was also of a group called the zealots.

A particular group of leaders at that time were responsible for passing judgements and giving approval if someone should be killed after breaking a law. They were known as the Sanhedrin. He was one who also had the authority giving to him by the Sanhedrin at that time.

That is why this verse exists.

"...Stephen was shed, I stood there giving my approval and guarding the clothes of those who were killing him.’..."

There are more Jewish articles online to educate yourself. You don't need to feel ego bruised and call white , black just to feel you didn't lose an argument.

Off I go.

None of the quoted passages say that he killed anyone but I trust you people's revisionist tendencies to intepret the text to suit anything you want it to say.
I was expecting this kinda reply as usual.

I have noticed that with humans beings.

Its the same kind of attitude Jesus had to constantly deal with in the jews especially the Pharisees.

You guys see something clearly, but at the same time you refuse to see. You will see clearly it's white, you will say its black.

Its a human nature I am still yet to understand.

The man testified himself that he killed men and women. It is written CLEARLY and BOLDLY. But I don't understand, is it that some of you have comprehension problems. Or its just pride. Maybe you don't want your ego bruised.

Why don't you go and argue with the man himself who said he killed Christians.

Acts 22

I worked hard for God as you all do today.

4 “I worked hard and killed men and women who believed as I believe today.

Where in the Bible is it mentioned that Paul killed Christians?
Let me help you small.

Acts 26:9-11
“Indeed, I myself thought I must do many things contrary to the name of Jesus of Nazareth. This I also did in Jerusalem, and many of the saints I shut up in prison, having received authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death, I cast my vote against them . And I punished them often in every synagogue and compelled them to blaspheme; and being exceedingly enraged against them, I persecuted them even to foreign cities.

Acts 22:3-4
“I am indeed a Jew, born in Tarsus of Cilicia, but brought up in this city at the feet of Gamaliel, taught according to the strictness of our fathers’ law, and was zealous toward God as you all are today. I persecuted this Way to the death,...

Acts 9:1-2
Then Saul, still breathing threats and murder against the disciples of the Lord, went to the high priest and asked letters from him to the synagogues of Damascus, so that if he found any who were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

Acts 22

I worked hard for God as you all do today.

4 “I worked hard and killed men and women who believed as I believe today.

Peace out.

Stop allowing the media control your emotions. They're making huge money off your misguided complaints and misdirected concerns.

A few hours after the governor announced the N5m gift, he also uploaded photos of road projects in Ogun State. Guess what? The media only picked out the Big Brother News because they're interested in your misdirected complaints. That's what gives them more money.

Stop feeding the media with your emotions. Ogun State governor rewards excellence across different sectors.

You don't have to pull down one to raise another.

Morality is best taught at home. There's little any government can do when it comes to deciding whether a child should twerk for a living or treat sick people for a living.
Ogun state gov rewards excellence, yet he is owing salaries?

I am glad to help expand your thinking all the more.

So because he showed you some pics of uncompleted projects and he rewarded some people with little cash that will only suffice for their survival for sometime, he did very very well?

Instead of govts to give grants for innovation, you are praising house and cars that only a few will benefit.

Stop acting acting people who sell their future to politicians in exchange for indomie, kerosene etc. that will be finished in few days just so ppl can vote for them.

Going by your high moral standards, all nations have failed so there's no point recommending any book.

Nigeria belongs to all: those that want to serve God, those that want to serve the devil, those that love por.n, those interested in music, movies, sports, art, education, innovation, research.

This is why we have many Ministries. You can't tell the government to ignore one sector for the other because of your personal interest or belief system.

The role of the government is to create an enabling environment for all. If the government can build educational institutions, give bursaries and scholarships to students, then it is also proper to create good and enabling environment for the religious, the entertainers and others.

Nigeria is not Saudi Arabia.
People like you should not lead any country.

You know what makes a nation grow? The enforcement of law and policies.

Do you know how laws and policies are enforced? By individuals (especially those in positions of authority) upholding to a standard.

Do you know how a standard is created? Based on integrity and honesty.

Do you know how a standard is held? On the ability to to forego immediate gratification in order to achieve a future end.

Do you know why your country is messed up? Because they lack the aforementioned.

But when people who have sense try to tell you Nigerians why you should take away from the view of the populace things that will all the more trigger the pleasure seeking, immediate gratification nature of the average Nigerians, you all will shout its the govt that should create blablabla.

All the things you mentioned up there are they not already in place. But why are Nigerians not benefitting from them, is it not because there is no enforcement of law and policies and also the greedy nature of those who hold positions.

Now an average youth also wants to make money without proper education and bringing any innovation to help grow the economy. Because now, you and others who don't care, support a show where people laze around and get millions. While those who actually have great ideas are left languishing.

All you ppl want to do is twerk on IG and gain money.

Continue o.

Every nation was built on strict principles that where adhered to. And a major principle was "delayed gratification". You don't even need to be a saint to do that. So your first point is invalid.

But I will stop here. I no get una time. You guys are too stubborn.

You're wasting your time if you think everyone must accept your own idea of morality or nation building. Big Brother Naija started since 2006. It is certainly not the reason Nigerians/Nigeria has refused to grow.

If the entertainment industry chooses to grow and winning the hearts of more people and brands, while others choose to remain stagnant, how is that your problem??

You want investors in the entertainment or movie industries to remain stagnant because your people elected Buhari??

If you don't change your perception, you might just continue to complain about things that give values to others at the detriment of your own sanity. Multichoice or DSTV will not fix political, educational, or technological deficit in your nation.

I've come to realize that nothing will change because we are either looking in the wrong places for results or blaming the wrong people. If I look into your history, I'm sure you have also blamed Nigerian Pastors for the same reason at some point. It's what you all do.
You have a lot to learn.

Go read books and articles on how nations are built and how nations fall.

The reason for your nations backwardness is because people have your kind of "wetin I fit do", "lets leave people to live how they want" mentality.

You guys haven't gotten on your feet, yet you are making your predicaments more complex by importing and allowing moral decadence and calling it entertainment.

You can start with the book below if you need enlightenment.

I don't know what you guys have to do to be deep analytical thinkers.

Were people watching BBN when America was being built as a nation?

How can a child who hasn't even finished his exams be playing instead of reading.

For you Nigerians is time to play or build your country?

Imagine a child comparing himself with a working adult and giving reasons why he should be playing instead of reading.

Besides, if BBN is currently showing in America, not up to 5 percent (that is even too much) will even know about the show. But in your country that over 90 percent know about the show and are glued to the TV, tell me how your country will grow.

Even the most popular reality TV show in America, (Keeping up with the Kardashians) how many Americans watch it much less know about it?

Most of the proceeds of BBN isn't even going to Nigeria but South Africa.
