The relationship between Tuface (real name Innocent Ujah Idibia) and Blackface (real name Ahmedu Augustine Obiabo) dates back to 1996 when they first met at the Institute of Management Technology (IMT) Enugu and that chance meeting gave birth to arguably what would be one of Nigeria’s biggest R&B/Pop group – Plantashun Boiz – with Richard Chibuzor Oji (Faze). However, fast forward 17-years later, Tuface and Blackface, both Idomas from Benue state, are neither friends nor enemies; just colleagues in the industry. Tuface’s mother of all wedding in Dubai has come and gone last weekend but the ripples it has generated will continue to resonate for a long time to come – one of which is the reason why he did not invite his buddy from way back, Blackface. While former band mate, Faze, was one of the groomsmen, Blackface was not even part of the 250 special guests invited to share the happy moment with Tuface in the Middle East country. So, when a fan on Twitter asked Blackface why he did not join the train to Dubai, he simply responded thus, “I no dey go where I no dey invited! but I wish dem all they wish themselves!”

Staff at a zoo in South Africa are watching their step after a highly dangerous snake escaped from its enclosure. Pretoria Zoo’s black mamba – one of the fastest and most venomous snakes in the world – is believed to be hiding somewhere in the zoo grounds after it was reported missing over a week ago. Now, desperate staff at the zoo in South Africa’s capital are using infra-red cameras in a bid to find the six-and-a-half foot (two metre) missing reptile – before it finds one of them. Marketing manager Craig Allenby said he hoped the snake was hiding in the roof of a service building behind its terrarium. Staff have placed snacks of rats, mice and chicks in the service area in a bid to tempt the snake out, but it has yet to bite. Mr Allenby’s team is using cameras which can pick up radiation emitted by bodies and even objects as cold-blooded as killer snakes. Another theory is that the snake may have been stolen. Zoo staff say there is a trade for indigenous reptiles such as Houdini, as they have named the missing mamba. However despite the uncertainty over the snake’s whereabouts, a Friday night zoo tour and sleepover at the attraction are still going to go ahead – albeit at a distance from the snake enclosure, and with guards on hand. Mr Allenby told Sowetan Live: ‘We would like to assure the public of our utmost commitment to resolving this issue as quickly as possible. ‘There is no additional threat to the public.’ The Easter Egg hunts planned for Easter weekend will also go ahead. Hundreds of children are expected to flock to the zoo to hunt for 20,000 chocolate eggs. Bites from the black mamba nearly always result in the victim’s death. Black mambas are known as Africa’s most feared snakes, and with good reason. Just two drops of their venom can kill a human, and they have up to 20 drops in their fangs. The venom contains a fast-acting neurotoxin that paralyses and kills it prey. Such is its strength, black mambas can kill a lion with just one bite.

A convicted rapist and cult leader known as Black Jesus, who was accused of murdering three girls and then eating their flesh and drinking their blood, has escaped from jail with 48 other prisoners. A huge manhunt is underway in Papua New Guinea's jungles for Stephen Tari and the other inmates, who broke out of prison in Madang in the north of the country while a guard changed shift. Police have warned that some of the escapees are very dangerous and stressed officers are working 'around the clock' to catch them. Tari, 40, a failed Bible class student, called himself Black Jesus as he travelled through the highland jungles in 2006, gathering thousands of disciples who moved with him, following his instructions to increase his 'flock'. But he was also accused of raping three young girls, murdering them and then drinking their blood and eating their flesh. Villagers eventually captured him in March 2007, beat him into unconsciousness, tied him up and handed him over to police. In 2010 he was convicted of four counts of rape but was not charged with murder due to lack of evidence, despite protests by the relatives of three dead girls. Now the enigmatic figure, who wore long white robes as he stood on a rock in a jungle clearing and preached his own gospel to his disciples, has sparked fears that he plans to look for new followers with his escape. 'The guard left his tower,' PNG Correction Service’s spokesman Richard Mandui told Radio Australia today. 'While the shift was taking place, the detainees used a tool to cut through a fence and they left for freedom.' 'We’re working around the clock to find Stephen Tari and the other men,' said Madang’s Acting Provincial Police Commander Inspector Jacob Bando. During his days of freedom he gathered more than six thousand disciples by telling them they would recieve gifts from heaven if they followed him. But jungle communities were horrified to be told that Stephen Tari had sacrificed three young women, drinking their blood and eating their flesh as part of his bizarre religious ceremonies. In one case, a mother who had fallen under his influence, drank her daughter’s blood, according to relatives who the Daily Mail spoke to at the time. He gradually became a figure of fear. Tari was eventually captured in the small village of Matapi, a seven-hour walk from the nearest road. Church pastor Paul Makura said it had been difficult for police to catch Tari as he never stayed for long in one place and was always warned by his disciples when police were in the area. When he turned up in Matapi villa, frightened villagers pounced on him while he was sleeping in a hut and tied him up. Messages were passed through villages until one man with a mobile phone was able to get a call to police in the town of Madang. Heavily-armed officers found the badly-beaten Tari tied to a makeshift stretcher when they arrived in the village. There was no sign of Black Jesus’ bow-and-arrow bodyguards who on an earlier occasion when Tari escaped had engaged in a fight to the death with police. Now police are hoping that with the notorious Black Jesus on the run once again they will be able to recapture him before he gets another cult up and running.

Wales manager Chris Coleman is hopeful that Gareth Bale will recover from a virus in time to face Scotland tonight. The Tottenham winger was unable to link up with the Wales squad earlier in the week due to his illness, but he has arrived in Scotland and was able to take part in his first training session at Hampden Park. Coleman insists he will not take a risk on Bale's fitness, but is 'optimistic' he will play in the 2014 World Cup qualifier against their Group A rivals. "He came up after us, took a later flight, he was suffering for a few days with an illness, which he contracted probably Tuesday or Wednesday. But he's okay, got a later flight and he's at the hotel," Coleman stated. "Well I wouldn't like to give too much away but he's got as good a chance as anybody else of starting. "We won't risk him, he's Tottenham Hotspur's player. He turns up most games for us and he's been brilliant for us, but if there's any risk we won't play him.

Sean Stewart became the youngest father in Britain yesterday when his girlfriend gave birth to a healthy son. Sean is 12 and girlfriend Emma Webster is 16-year-old girlfriend. The pair, who are neighbours at Sharnbrook, Bedfordshire, were 11 and 15 when Emma became pregnant. Sean and his mother moved next door to the Websters in November 1996 and he became Emma’s boyfriend shortly after that. He is a 7th year at Margaret Beaufort School in the nearby village of Riseley. Emma is studying for her GCSEs – including one in child care – at Sharnbrook Upper School. Last summer, Sean said he would stand by Emma and be there for the baby. “I was shocked at first when I was told Emma was pregnant but I am all right about it now.” photoEmma said she thought Sean had told her he was the same age as she was when they started going out.

I just thought, whoa," Johnson told The Huffington Post in an interview. "'I need to do something.'" The 25-year-old responded with "Eggs Benedict" -- a portrait of the Roman Catholic leader created with 17,000 colored, non-lubricated condoms. Through this, she hopes to take aim at the church's stance on using condoms, but also promote sexual diversity and a more open discussion about sexual health. The entire project took 270 hours spread over three years to complete, Johnson estimated -- 135 hours individually opening the condoms, laying them out and planning, and 135 hours threading them through wire mesh. She finished in late 2012 and plans to display the piece in about a month but hasn't worked out the details yet. The Vatican never retracted the former pope's 2009 statement, but in 2010, in an interview for the German book, Light of the World: The Pope, the Church and the Signs of the Times, Benedict said that while condoms are not a moral solution to stopping AIDS, in some cases using them could represent a first step in assuming moral responsibility "in the intention of reducing the risk of infection." Church doctrine still forbids artificial birth control, but Benedict's 2010 statement was significant because it addressed a taboo topic. Johnson's more than aware of the varying opinions surrounding the church's position. Backlash from "Eggs Benedict," started when Shorewood Patch reported on the project on Tuesday. "I find people's anger toward it very interesting," she told HuffPost. "Someone said that if I'd made a portrait of Muhammad, I'd have been stoned or something. I just thought, but the great thing about this country is that we have a freedom of expression and we can stand up for what we believe in." Of course, the piece is meant to be controversial, she added, but it's more than that. "I see it as an inclusive piece," she said. "Yes, it says something about the church's position on sexuality, but it also embraces diversity with humor and irony. Johnson chose to use condoms to promote discussing sexuality in general. When you view the portrait from the front, she said, you can't even tell they're condoms. But from the back, you can. "Condoms aren't things that people typically break out in their houses or discuss openly with their children," she said. "I think the portrait demystifies the condom and makes it about something other than just sex." Johnson said her choice to use several colored condoms, sometimes layering them to make new hues, also promotes diversity in sexuality -- the portrait is quite literally "very rainbow." Johnson said she hopes people take away the beauty of the portrait, while also being inspired to start making a change. "The church and other world leaders should do a lot more," she said in regards to HIV and AIDS prevention. "People need to start thinking about embracing sex health.
