dasarge:
Hello, I am a recruitment agent for a school based in Malaysia and i have been there. Its a very lovely place and you can get into the system and improve your education. My school helps people move over to the UK from Malaysia in the final year of the Undergraduate programme. People have actually come to the Uk from there and gone back to Malaysia after schooling because its a very peaceful and lovely place.
if you need further briefing on this, just call me on +44(0)7944628489. I will be very glad to help you out.

Many regards to you all.
How easy is it to get a Malaysian Visa and also work there while studying? If you can give me a good load down of what your agencies atke and the risk involved, I might consider becos I really want to help him, I know he is ambitious but he is just not too cautious. Mind you i dont trust agencies-he is studyng Mathematics, with what we discussed last, I guess he has an extra year now in the university in Nigeria but I guess he will be through before september.
help if you can and dont forget we are nigerians

You are simply saying I should encourage him? He is still struggling with his undergraduates. But can you prove all this news on the development of Malaysia? Better than the U.K.? If it reminds you of Nigeria then its not safe.
babasin:
I presently live in Malaysia.

Its lovely and peaceful. No armed robber on the road. The roads are better than UK roads.

The toll-gate has 'touch&go' so I don't wait ot bribe anyone when am driving through the highway.

How will your brother get VISA? Singapore is VISA free for Nigerians but not Malaysia.
Then do you think it is advisable for a degree holder to come and be doing your layman job when he has better option?
babasin:
depends. Singapore is much advance but too small. Malaysia is really catching up very fast and it big; so room to grow.

Also layman jobs is plenty in Malaysia while Singapore have more technical job.

Above all, I love living in Malaysia.

Always remind me of Nigeria; vegetation, people(muslim, christian, etc), food etc but of much better infrastructure/Safe compare to Naija.
I think the reason he wants out of Nigeria is because of the economic situation but I dont want him to go out of Frying pan to fire.
Thanks anyway, enjoy your stay in Malaysia-truly Asia but by the way he told me someone promised to get the visa for him for a price. I do not buy the idea

TravelRe: What's Up With Ghana And Nigeria? by jeshua(m): 2:25pm On Apr 11, 2007
Backslider:
I am for real I understand and can read write the major local language here TWI.

There is Light off but You have security now. Dont get me wrong the situation is not as Naija.

The Situation Shall Depreciate if nothing is done. Ghana must make available other forms of energy or Go the way of Nigeria.

If Ghana does not Get stable Supply of Energy they will immediately start having Citizens looking for other means to get electricity and the DISTRIBUTION NET WORK AND GENERATION NETWORK will be abandoned. Already people are buying Generators the price of generators have shut up by 70% ! They will soon start buy Fuel in Gallons and soon they will start reselling it.

This will bring rise to queues in the filling stations. When this happens on the Low level Check out what will happen at the High Level! Government official will be involved in this and the will determine the supply chain.

I am on the ground here and when I am talking with Ghanaians they wonder How I have all the info well it is Just I am always interested in Leadership and How it affects followership.

Ghana however have a Chance because the Rawlings Factor is still very Much around. Understand he is from the Minority Ethnic tribe and he is a man that has integrity but people say he stole money. I can say that he is the poorest African head of state. He travels like a common man because the NPP have striped him of his priviledges.

He had so many people that have betrayed him and they are still betraying him. The Governing party use any friction in the NDC (opposition) and they play it out in the press so that they(NDC) become more unpopular. The people around Rawlings have failed him big time because Rawlings did not know LEADERSHIP AS IT IS IN POLITICS.

The press here is not helping matters they are in bed with the NPP and press is silent but speaks out only when the NDC talks or there is a fault with them. There is a lot of spin doctors here and they have credibilty because they have either been to Jail in the military years of Rawlings PNDCL.

Though people are going to Jail but none of the RULING PARTY MEN HAVE EVER BE SENT TO JAIL EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NO IMMUNITY.

GHANA IS NOT YET LIKE NAIJA BUT IT MAY SOON BE WORSE THAN NAIJA SOON.
I dont know who gave you the idea that Nigeria is worse. Maybe if I sen 20 Naira to you, do you know I can make you rich with just twenty naira? If it is the social state of things then go read the History of America and see that it is just like that only better. Go and eat Dokunu, you know I love Ghana food alot-no hard feelings!!!!

Make una leave Seun alone o

He de try.
I have to be very frank about it-Seun this is a really great thing. Sometimes I just post some topics to see how it is going to be handled and I am amazed at the kind of intellectual replies I get even those who talk irrelevant things, you can almost know the intelligence behind thier seeming foolish response. Thank you Seun- YOU SHOULD BE GIVEN A NATIONAL AWARD- Not all those thiefs that get the OON or whatever attached to their name. Keep it up, someday some will notice.

Christianity EtcRe: Gombe Muslim Students Have Put Me In Sorrow By Killing My Friend by jeshua(m): 4:19pm On Apr 05, 2007
abstarr:
For the record, Islam's main objective is not to kill and maime people. All we want to do is worship God. And oh, yes, all armed robbers are violent! That is not a valid comparison because robbers leave the house wit the sole purpose of causin harm.

For the record, I'm not a "moderate Muslim". I actually consider the term derogatory. What your insinuating is that the muslims that don't commit acts of violence are "moderate" and those who do are the "real muslims". Its the same thing like a british man condemning his govt for goin to war in Iraq. Does that mean he has the sole responsibility of carrying his grieviances to No.10 Downing street to Mr Blair? Mind you, even with the near total condemnation of the war by the british people, they still were not able to stop the actions of their govt. Now does that mean british people as a whole support the war? Or wait, oops sorry i 4got, those would be termed "moderate british people". the "real" ones are the ones that made the war possible!!

I'm not going to reply on this thread anymore because your language is so strong, its clear that your mind is made and i can't hav any sort of intelligent conversation with you. Have a good day @david,
That is the way it is. I have lived in the north and I know what kind of life non-christians are subjected to daily. My uncle was killed, another relative escaped barely with his life and that of his children.
EVERYTHING THAT THEY IS ABSOLUTELY WHAT ISLAM TEACHES. Politics is what makes us say some are fanatical and others not, all they need is the ground to kill. I am in the UK and even the whites here fear them becos they do not attach any santity to life.
we cant fight back, it is not what the Bible teaches but we can definitely defend our selves with everything and all that we have. that is self defence, it is not murder.

Nairaland GeneralSeun, Do You Own Nairaland?-na Your Property? by jeshua(op): 3:44pm On Apr 05, 2007
i have been wondering why it is always seun's post that is often on top of the important dialogues. Sometime when you get your topic there, he just seems to go back to the top and that is why he has more people discussing his/ her topic. well, if its yours, that is nice but if not haba-nigerian laws of prejudice and 41, still dey work here.
then who ever controls nairaland should add more green colour to it, it seems this one is fading away like the flag in my primary school days.

Christianity EtcRe: Is Christianity And Islam Against Men Weaving And Braiding Their Hair? by jeshua(op): 12:12pm On Apr 04, 2007
but do you think it is right because is like talking about homosexuality, when you fill out forms you will be asked if you are "straight or otherwise". this shows that even nature does not subscribe to it.
Christianity EtcRe: Do You Think God Can Use Anything- And I Mean Anything by jeshua(op): 2:43pm On Apr 02, 2007
When a person has done so many bad things, rationally do you think it is just to say God-the Just God will use him. So many bad bAD nIGERIANS AND STILL YET, WE HAVE THE LARGEST CONGREGATIONS IN THE WORLD. Hope religion is not being used as an escape mechanism?
Christianity EtcIs Christianity And Islam Against Men Weaving And Braiding Their Hair? by jeshua(op): 2:40pm On Apr 02, 2007
What is wrong with men weaving their hairs? Many south African do it and even in America,Christians do it, but in Nigeria if you weave, you are looked upon as a not-too-serious type, footballer or a "sango" worshipper? Is christianity against it? what of Islam?
CrimeRe: Slavery Is Still Real In Europe by jeshua(op): 12:04pm On Mar 26, 2007
will you all just keep quite if you don't know what you are saying. who told you i feel inferior to the white man. i am only saying what I know, have you read the papers and have you seen the protest against the wilberforce day, maybe you don't even know who wilberforce is? well, i am just saying this so anyone who is going abroad will be prepared to stand up against discriminations of any sort. okay
CrimeRe: Slavery Is Still Real In Europe by jeshua(op): 2:15pm On Mar 23, 2007
you can go on whinning about slavery or racism but let me tell you something, when we talk of racism, we are talking about other racial people discriminated against but by the virtue of experiential definition, I am talking about the mentality of whites when they relate with Blacks. History reveals the position we were to them and the present generation indirectly feels there superiority should be a tradition.
They refer to blacks as people who are wild and needs domestication, tell me history teacher, is that racism or slavery. if you are so good with history tell me the origin of discrimination of blacks? it did not start from the same source with other racial groups, did it?. huh
Christianity EtcDo You Think God Can Use Anything- And I Mean Anything by jeshua(op): 6:42pm On Mar 22, 2007
I have heard people say God can use anything, I dont think I quite agree, nothing God uses or has been used have not been transformed first by God's Spirit into a vessel unto honor. People use that "God can use anything" to do things in the name of God and say, it doesnt matter. If God can use anything, it automaticaly mean, He doesnt have a standard and so agrees with whatever, Any one with a sensible biblical understanding of this?
Even Balaams donkey was not anything, the donkey said: he has been faithful to his master. Just talk to me country peoplehuhhuhhuhhuh?? cool
