Many of you Igbo guys are not smart.
I am a Yorùbá and I voted for Obi.
Many of the educated people in Lagos are rooting for Obi.
Only the thugs and the half educated voted for Tinubu.

Phones / Re: Is Xiaomi Redmi Phones Good? by jesse8048(m): 5:38pm On Apr 26, 2022
It's disrespectful to compare redmi and infinix and tecno phones. In what area does tecno come close to redmi. Is it built, body, updates or what? Name any tecno or infinix in same price range with a redmi that will come close to redmi.

Glad to see this thread still making progress. If you are interested in data science tutorials and/or lectures at beginner to intermediate level, watch out for this space smiley. I'll be offering a series of lectures in the coming months for those interested who want to transition or stay motivated. Lectures may be paid though, cos my observation from giving free lectures is that they hardly make any significant impact.

Boss, we will really appreciate.
Please do you know much about DataMites?

Just a piece of what I forgot to push in my previous thread on chronicles of how I transitioned to data.
I understand some new comers may be asking what’s the salary range that should be quoted during an interview.
So I will be using myself as an example. I would also want experienced data gurus to chip in their range.
I started on 165k as net as my 1st data job. Fully remote.. then 225k then 290k to 400k
Now >= 500k
However these increments were due to efforts and years of experience.
Inputs are welcomed.

Good morning boss, I'm done with excel, about to finish MySQL. What next from here?

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: FREE AGRICULTURAL TRAINING by jesse8048(m): 6:59pm On Jan 20, 2022
pretteemee:
Hi everyone.
I'm Elizabeth, a farmer, agriculturist and an agro Consultant. I own a farm and I am specialized in Crop farming.
I started this whole thing in a small scale and the farm is growing bigger by the day.

I have seen a whole lot of youths complain about lack of sustainable employment, many are finding it very difficult to feed even as a graduate and I begin to wonder why we youths can not create jobs for ourselves.

There's a wide range of opportunities in the Agricultural sector so why are we still hungry?
Why are we still working on the streets looking for jobs that ain't even available?

Honestly, It breaks my heart to see graduates beg for money to feed, like, after all the stress of 4 good years and some 6, 7 years of studying?

My team and I have decided to start up a training for youths who want to learn about what we do in agriculture.

This is not just going to be a training, we will be working together as an agro family for this reason we will not be working with a large number, just a few selected serious minded youths.

If you are interested,please
Send a WhatsApp message to
+234-703-447-8708
Or Email : Vambedyfarms@gmail.com

Note: If you are not ready for a serious business, please do not send a message.
This is strictly for youths who have interest in agriculture but do not know where to start from.

When is the next training please?

already started my journey into data science, prior before now I had a mentor(my cousin) who is a data scientist in Australia who talked extensively on data science and gave various tools necessary. So I brushed through excel by taking some course like analysing data using excel and other courses on Edx(videos) then currently learning sql using sql server express learnt basics using w3schools and sqlzoo which am done, practicing using ssms and sample database like(adventureworks and northwind) so refreshing. Also I have some PDFs book having questions and problem from beginner to advance on the sample database listed, once am done I will also take some courses on edX. Afterwards would move into python and other tools.

just wanted to share my journey for the past one month. thanks Ejiod and other contributors.

if you are also on this journey into the world of data science quote me, let's relate

Good morning boss, I just came across this. Please kindly mentor me on how to start.

Nice write up.
Let me add this:

A. When the jobs start coming in, don't underprice yourself.
Your knowledge is gold.

B. Seek knowledge daily, there is room for advancement.

As for me, I started programming in 2006, now, I'm thinking of retirement. I've paid my due, no more hard labour. Glory to God

Good evening boss, I want to go into programming but don't know where to start from. Please kindly give me clue and headstart. I really need a mentor like you.

No easy path. Just be patient and devote time to it.
HTML

JavaScript

Backend
NodeJs

Time is the biggest challenge if you can devote time to it you'll be amazed at how fast you can learn. Then as I tell my students. Practice practice practice until it becomes your second nature

Or Python
Or Laravel

Where do you train them?
