Guy i think u are actually equivocating or probably have little idea of what u meant or were saying

DaLover: The reason you feel that the government has not done anything is because of the way nigerians interprete the bolded,
Government tries to provide everything either free or at a subsidised rate
-Primary, secondary and university education, transportation busses, airlines, airports, power, telecommunications, fuel, water, loans, NNPC petro stations, pipelines, chuches, morsques, pilgramages, football and sports, radios stations, tv stations, etc, etc etc, I can go on and on,
Government is involved in almost everything you can think off, and what is it they say about a jack of all tradeshuh Master of none,
After i read this, i requested for 'empirical' proof for ur statement which u haven't given till now and yet came up with something similar with no evidence to still prove that government is actually doing these much

DaLover:
Maybe you did not understand what I was trying to say, Let me repeat, The nigerian government is trying to provide all these things free or subsidised and ends up failing because it is overinvolved in too many unnecessary things,
Like what and what is the FG trying to provide free or Subsidized other than PMS?

DaLover:
My argument is government should hands off, concentrate on creating condusive environment and regulations.
Hands off what exactly? what are they doing now that citizens or the very poor man that lives in a one room that is yet to pay the rent of same will thank the government for?

DaLover:
besides what other empirical proof do you wnat, don't you live or havent you been to Nigeria,
My stay here often and travel out as well to compare standards of Living among countries

DaLover:
How much did you pay in a nigerian federal university?
Please ask any Unilag student how much fees that is being paid now. Call any Lasu student and ask same. Both are owned by Federal and state government respectively

DaLover:
You runs your football in Nigeria?
Is GEJ the sponsor of the Nigerian Premier league? or does he also sponsor the DSTV basketball league?

DaLover:
Haven't you seen government owned transport vehicles?
Like? OKay i know BRT in Lagos that charges almost samething commercial bus charge as well

DaLover:
Haven't you heard of government sponored pilgramages to holy lands?
How much is it compared with other Private pilgrimages operators

DaLover:
Haven't you heard of Government owned radio stations?
Like? Okay i know FRCN and NTA. Their advert rates is the most expensive in Nigeria and yet pay very little license renewal fee annually

DaLover:
Maybe you haven't heard of Nitel?
What about Nitel? Before advent of GSM it cost not less than N150,000 to have a mobile phone in 1998 and about N50,000 for fixed land line. These income accrues to me or the FG?

DaLover:
Or Nigerian Airways or virgin nigerian airways or what ever name?
My brother i am a local and international traveler. I board Air Nigeria for local travels. 1 hour to abuja is N16,000 and of course Aero could be cheaper. The income accrues to me? BTW the FG dont have 100% stake in Air Nigeria. OK?

DaLover:
and the most anoying NNPC petro-stations,
What about them? How much do they sell a litre of Fuel as against MRS, Total, Mobil etc?

DaLover:
Look as long as we remain on the road to nowhere, we will get to nowhere
Of course as long as we base our statement on non factual things and reality, we may have to continue like this.

I said 'empirical proof that govt does what You ve alleged they do above

cheers cheesy

peep are arguing against subsidy with little or poor information at their mercy.

The only thing i can more than 50% of the Nigerian populace is benefiting from the FG is PMS subsidy. At least my travels around Nigeria in the last couple of months suggests a uniformed price of PMS in states like Lagos Ogun, Oyo, Osun Edo Fct, Niger, etc at N65/litre. Meaning Nigerians that travel by car on board vehicles that run on Petrol benefits as well as average Nigerians that use small petrol generators tends to benefit as well.

A 1000watts generator requires about 5-8litres for a filled tank. At N65/litre a common man will need N520 to enjoy electricity which PHCN can supply FG will compound his problem by removing subsidy for him to buy fuel at N130/litre. Meaning 8litres will cost N1040 for a man that earns N18,000 minimum wage monthly. Remember he might have to keep buying petrol for more than 10 days as PHCN can guarantee regular Electricity

AGO, Kerosene and JET A1(Aviation Fuel) are alrady deregulated and Nigerian are crying for Help.

AG0= N160/N170 a litre

Kerosene = over N100 a litre

Jet A1= N170- N180/litre.

Allow the removal of subsidy and allow more money to be stolen by politicians. ur senators and house of rep members are earning about N45 to N50 million each per quarter. Yet the 4billion being spent on Subsidy doesn't affect their salaries and allowances. N45million X over 300 house of rep members. N50million X 109 senators

I don't think Marriage between Muslim woman and Christian man is prohibited in Islam As far as I know there is no clear cut on the issue from the Quran even though one verse stated that a slave Muslim is better than a non believer but there is no categorical verse that out law the practice like in case of Alcohol and Fornication
Nice one. Tell Muslims to stop prevent us from marrying their Ladies if we find a nice one. Likes of sweetnecta grin always wanted the inter religious marriage no to happen

interesting topic and great contributions on the five pages thus far. However some pples analysis have been very poor probably due to lack of information on their part.

Its simple 'remove subsidy and failing to have local alternative refined petrol products, make common man suffer the more

The conditions of the masses in Nigeria is already pathetic and complicated, u'll only make it worse by removing subsidy and thereby enriching the corrupt politicians the more. If the refineries are working or more refineries are built to either supplement existing onces or for total replacement, we wouldn't have to be buying a litre of PMS for as high as N65/litre on probability. Presently the take home pay of Nigerians is nothing to write home about. Many state government said they wouldn't be able to afford N18,000 minimum wage which means at the moment an average worker in the public sector earns monthly an amount less than N18,000.

For instance assuming a man earns N15,000 and lives in Ikorodu Lagos and works on the Island. He would be spending more than half of his salary on transportation when the commercial bus drivers buys fuel at N65/litre. As we speak from the island to Ikorudu Lagos is about N200 for a commercial bus ride. Something that costs less than that when the price of a litre was N50. Imaging removing subsidy and commercial bus drivers buys fuel at over a N100, how much will it cost from Island to Ikorodu for a common man? Yet the same government is not ready to increase workers salaries.

Take a look at Ago(diesel) Kerosene and Aviation fuel jet A1. These products have no subsides and we all know what their prices are in the market.

I am not too rich nor too poor but my work allows me travel to Abuja every week. A flight for 1hour to Abuja with Arik air costs me weekly N18,000 and a return is another N18,000=N36,000 for two hours. I recently heard that the price of Jet A1 has risen from N80 in December 2010 to N170/litre in May 2011 since the product is not refined local its also being imported. The Airline operators said if Government doesn't come to their rescue the consumers/customers will suffer as they might increase air fare by between 50 to 100%.

Diesel is also not being refined local as at yesterday 13th may 2011 i bought a litre for N178 at Zenon oil. They said its not subsidized. Electricity is not stable we have to run our firm on Gen 24/7 thereby our cost of production is high and of course we need to survive we are left with no option than to shift the burden to our clients or customers.

I saw on AIT pple crying that they buy a litre of Kerosene for over a N100. The common pple are begging the government to come to their aid. Kerosene too is also imported and not refined. Who bears the burden? the rich or the poor.

I have brought the above scenario to show that at the long run its the poor pple that suffers. The situations of Nigerians are already pathetic and sorrowful. Why compound it?

The only genre of crude oil in Nigeria that enjoys subsidy is PMS(petrol) which i can say that either directly or indirectly its the only commodity that over half of the Nigerian population use. i.e we have cars or board buses or cars that runs on fuel and most generators in the house of commoners uses petrol and not diesel.

The solution is for their to be a local production which will reduce cost and if at all the government will subsidize, it wouldnt be has much as the alleged N4billion they claim they spend annually. Theres always a multiplier effect of a marginal increase in prices of petrol product that will be felt on other product. If fuel price is increased by N1, price of pepper will go up on the claim that the transport cost has increased. All in all the masses will suffer.

Solution is allow private sector/government sector build as many refineries as possible in Nigeria

If the International price of crude oil is $100/barrel, sell to local refiners at a subsidized rate of 30 to 40% lesser and make sure no diversion takes places.

Cos if our govt hide under the guise that the savings from non subsidy will be used to provide infrastructure i can tell u that one na big big big lie. The money will end up with the national assembly and more corruption will be encouraged. Even as they claim they spend so much on subsidy yet theres still corruption.

What did Dimeji bankole do with N10billion naira? I heard Goodluck jonathan will spend N500 million naira on his inauguration on May 29.

If we allow these criminals more savings, they will use it for themselves. House of rep members that does nothing takes home close to N45m per Quarter. If u allow them to save money from subsidy they will increase their allocation to N50million or more per quarter.

Election Day tragedy: Murder in the cathedral
By TUNDE ODESOLA
Friday, 13 May 2011

The report is lengthy but have highlighted some key points in bold
The country’s passiveness to criminality has once again played up in the silence which has greeted the killing of five https://www.punchng.com/images/May/Friday/pix201105137335662.jpgpersons in a church on the morning of the federal parliamentary elections in Ile-Ife, Osun State. TUNDE ODESOLA reports. It was the early hours of the day of the federal parliamentary election; April 9, 2011 – to be precise. The sermon at Temiloluwa Cherubim and Seraphim Church, Ile-Ife, was in full swing with the congregation listening with rapt attention. 75-year-old pastor, Pa Joseph Akinola, was preaching about the signs of end time. “At the end of time, strange things will begin to happen,” his voice thundered from the altar. Suddenly, he bent double, raised his right hand midair and opened his mouth. But no sound came out. Only tiny drops of blood trickled down the left side of his mouth, his eyes glazed. Pa Akinola slumped and curled up in a heap. A bullet had ripped through his chest. In the same breath, a hail of bullets rained into the church, leaving two worshippers, Taofeek Kolawole, and Wale Ologbenla, dead. Bedlam! Worshippers screamed. Panic gripped the congregation. Where are the bullets coming from? Another worshipper, Damilola Adeniyi, in panic, ran out of the church. He was stopped by bullets inside the church premises. He lay dead in the pool of his own blood face down.

Just a moment before the attack on the church, residents of No 68, Isale Agbara Street, Ile-Ife, who were enjoying fresh breeze on a moonless night, came under heavy gun attack. The residence belonged to the late Alhaji Niniola Makinde, the father of the candidate of the Action Congress of Nigeria for Ife Federal Constituency seat in the House of Representatives, Chief Rotimi Makinde, who voluntarily retired as an accountant with the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation last February after 25 years of service. Twenty-three-year-old Tope Omisakin was one of the relatives of Makinde, who, along with a few of the politician’s supporters, were enjoying the cool breeze of the night. Omisakin fled as the first hail of bullets shattered the silence of the night. He ran towards the back of the old storey building en route the church premises, which is a block away. Unknown to 23-year-old Omisakin, the gunmen were hiding in the dark bush adjacent the church. Little did he know that he was running to his grave! The gunmen got a good view of him as he ran, panting and panicky. One of the gunmen directed his pump action rifle at him, spraying and snuffing life out of him. It was after Omisakin was killed that the gunmen turned their weapons of death on the wooden church, spraying it from a distance. This was the moment when bullets hit the pastor and three other worshippers.

What could be the motive of the killings? Who could be behind the killings? One of the relatives of Makinde, Alfa Olawale Salam, who was in front of the residence when the assailants stormed, gave an insight into how the attack occurred. He said, “We were all outside talking about the federal parliamentary election coming up in the morning. All of a sudden, we heard gunshots. Nobody knew where the shots were coming from, so we all fled in different directions. Omisakin and I fled towards the church. He was faster, so he was ahead of me. While he ran towards the church, I ran to the bush beside the primary school opposite the church. I ran under the cover of darkness. The church area was lit. I think that was why they got him. It was God’s grace that I survived because everybody took off on instinct. The assailants must have mistaken the church for a house, where night guards were sleeping because there was no point spraying the church after they had killed Omisakin. The church had no signboard in its premises. They were so close to me, if I had a gun, I would have got the three of them. They came in a Hilux truck. Some of them remained in the vehicle while three of them stepped out and carried out the operation. It was military like.”

Speaking amid sobs, Makinde said, “I had just left my relatives and supporters in front of my father’s house barely 40 minutes when the killers stormed at 1:45 am and left at 2:05 am. I was the target of the attack. During the botched federal parliamentary election scheduled for April 2, 2011, my political opponents had seen the handwriting on the wall; in all the wards where voting was collated before the cancellation of the election, I was leading. They felt threatened that I would win the election. This is the reason for the attack. All I am crying for is justice. These innocent souls must not die in vain. What was their sin to be so gruesomely murdered? I pray God to rise and hearken to my cry. Their motive was to either kill me or cause anarchy such that the Independent National Electoral Commission would postpone the election in Ife Federal Constituency. The attackers had earlier stormed the residences of ACN leaders, who included Chief Felix Awofisayo, senator-elect, Mr. Jide Omoworare, Mr. Biyi Odunlade and Mr. Lanbua Aderemi in Parakin and Ibadan Road areas before storming my house. Some Peoples Democratic Party members in Ife were behind the attack. Two days before the incident, the killers held a meeting in Kalakuta residence in Ogbon Agbara area of Ife, where they planned the attack. Marijuana and hard drugs are sold at the residence. I was tipped off by someone after the meeting and I informed the police of the information I had. I had written petitions to the police and the State Security Service over the threats to my life. But the police commissioner, Mr. Peter Gana, reassured me that the police would protect life and property in Ife. A member of the PDP In Ife, Mr. Adedotun Adebowale, popularly called Mere, was at the meeting in Kalakuta residence.” Commenting on the development, Gana, who visited the scene of the crime on April 9, 2011, vowed that the killers would be brought to justice.

Denying the claim, Adebowale, who is currently being detained over the matter, described the allegation as false and silly. He said, “I have never held a gun in my life. Why should I engage in killing? Makinde is a theatre practitioner, I think he is acting. But he should stop fabricating false allegations to score cheap political points. Why should I plan to kill? I don’t have such an antecedent. I was properly brought up to respect human life and dignity. It is absurd for anyone to link me with any killing anywhere. We should learn to play decent politics.”

Immediate past Chairman of Ife-East Local Government Council, Chief Gbenga Owolabi, who has defected to the ACN said, “The killers had threatened me too. They said I must not be in Ife on the day of election. I reported to the police. I should be free to join any party I want. This is democracy and no anarchism or fascism.

Widow of Pa Idowu, Mrs. Rebecca Akinola, 64, disclosed that more than 30 worshippers were at the vigil when the killers unleashed mayhem. She said, “When the bullets were flying, many of us lay flat on the floor. Baba did not die immediately. He was still breathing. I was crying and I was calling on people to come out and help me take him to the hospital but when help came, it was too late. I want to continue with the ministry but I don’t want to use that church again. I want another church to be built for me by people of goodwill or government. I need help to take care of my children. I need help as Baba who was taking care of his children and other people’s children is gone. Baba was from Ondo.”

Speaking with our correspondent, Taofeek’s father, Rafius Kolawole, said “my son was a Christian even though I am a Muslim. He was writing his Senior Secondary Certificate Exam when he met his death. He was my firstborn and my only son. Also speaking, the father of Wale Ologbenla, said he is devastated by the death of his firstborn. “Wale was a draughtsman. His mother died last year. I learnt that some people were killed in the church of Baba but I didn’t know that my Wale was involved,” he said.

Describing Damilola Adeniyi as a commercial motorcyclist, his relative, who spoke with our correspondent on condition of anonymity, explained, “Damilola was a mechanic. He was a friend to the pastor’s son. He came to worship in the church when he met his death.”

A human rights activist, Mr Amitolu Shittu, in an interview with our correspondent, said it was shocking that “no outrage had greeted such a murderous act. It is shocking that the nation is keeping quiet in the face of this heinous murder. Human right groups should take up the issue. The clergy, the laity and other social institutions such as the media, student bodies, youth groups judiciary and even traditional rulers’ councils should speak up.”
Desperation can only be found in PDP

azharuddin:
I think obeying Allah makes us a better human being.

the Prophet (SAW) has said: “Without doubt, one, who is hard-hearted, is far away from Allah's mercy”
(Abu Dawood).

So it becomes an obligation of every God fearing Muslim to help a person lying on the road who had an accident.

On another occasion Prophet (SAW) said: “One who doesn't love his younger and doesn't respect his elders, is not from us”
(Tirmidhi).

So imagine the importance of humanitarian consideration in Islam. But if you ve come accross a 'supposedly religious person' who causes trouble for others, then his 'religiousness' is in question.

Alla knows best.
May Allah include us of people who are good to others, and be merciful to us. Ameen.

@ode remo^^^^^^^^^^^^^ we will not refuse a christian blood because he/she is human and islam is about preservation of life.

however, just because we will not refuse something of the christian does not mean we accept everything from them; pork is a good example.

and when it comes to belief we reject trinity, though we accept jesus [as] the prophet.

And it is about God and His Laws and Commandments. it is not always about love first. such love is insincerity if its intent is not for God. so God is first.

2011 Prophesies: 'Two Govs will die mysteriously'

, Surprises in 2011 elections

* Warns FG of coastal attacks

By Shedrack Ifurueze Date Published 20/12/2010

The General Overseer of Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Lion of Judah, Prophet Elijah Akinade in a special message to the nation about events in 2011 has prophesied that two Governors will die mysteriously, 2011 elections will end with surprises and expectation of maritime attacks in the country by terrorists.
Prophet Akinade said during a special programme tagged ‘Last Minutes Miracle’ in Lagos last week that one of the Governors will die while sleeping in the night in a manner that will generate crisis within the State. The death described by him as natural will result in series of allegations against those considered to be the enemies of the Governor. “Only God can stop the death of these Governors, if they can cry to the Lord through fasting and prayers”, he warned.
the characters in bold speaks for theselves
Concerning the 2011 elections, Akinade said that Nigerians will find it difficult to believe surprises in the outcome of the elections. According to him, 2011 elections will represent the true position of votes casted by Nigerians.
“The elections will be the first election that Nigerians will vote and the outcome will not create controversies witnessed in the past because it will meet the expectation of voters”, he added.
Its a pity Papa u are not around to witness ur prophecy come to past. Both Local and international obcervers said the election was reasonably free and fair. We saw many surprises as OBJ was defeated in his own constituency as well as the Speaker Dimeji Bankole being unable to return to the lower house.

We saw how ACN tagged as a Yoruba part gave Dr Chris Ngige in an IGBo state the Senatorial ticket in Anambra state defeating Mrs re-branding of the ruling party

He prophesied that certain powerful Nigerians affected by the removal of import duty on certain goods will like to destabilise the country if their pressure on the National Assembly failed to yield result
He added that President Goodluck Jonathan should not yield to the pressure and proposal from any quarters because the removal was initiated by God so that Nigeria will benefit from riches of other nations.
“The prayer of the saints in the country is the direct result of the removal of import duty by President Jonathan to ensure the return of stolen wealth back into Nigeria from other nations”, he assured.
Akinade said that 2011 will be a year of boom in the Nigerian economy to the extent that several Nigerians working abroad will return into the country. Besides, he said that the Federal government will appoint a Foreign Affairs Minister that will ensure a favourable visa policies by all embassies in Nigeria.
He noted that the Federal Government should put all the security agencies on alert to counter terrorist attacks during the year through the coastal ports.”Except an urgent action is carried out by the Federal Government, the attacks will be a great disaster”, he warned.
Six Iranians were arrested in Gbagada Lagos recently over seized ammunitions at Tin Can . This also resulted in th report of Iran to the United Nations by the Federal Government.

1998 world cup winner

1998 European and world player of the year

2000 Euro cup

2000 world player of the year

2002 UCL with Madrid

2003 world player of the year

Also won domestic titles with JUve and Real madrid.

list of close players include
Franz Beckenbauer . He has won everything except UEFA cup, but he has tasted success in UEFA cup winners' cup, so he might fit the billl. (He won UEFA cup as manager in 1996. Does that counthuh) He could not possibly be world player of the year since it was not there in his time, but he won Ballon D'or.

Ronaldinho 1 wc, 2nos world player, Continental cup with Brazil, UCL with Barcelona 2006 European player of the year.

After 5 days, still finding it difficult to believe papa is gone. One's got not choice since God Almighty does what pleases him, hence no one can question him.

David the Psalmist did say
Psalms:103:7: He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
Psalms:103:14: For he knoweth our frame; he remembereth that we are dust.
Psalms:103:15: As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth.
Psalms:103:16: For the wind passeth over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
Psalms:103:17: But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
@characters in bold. God himself is quite aware that our time on earth is limited comparing man with Flower and grass that survives for a while. what can last forever as David did emphasized is the lord's mercy which is from everlasting to everlasting.

what gives me courage not to miss ur earthly presence (baba Judah) lies in the fact that u lived a fulfilled life that raised many destinies. Like i said in the OP u affected many lives positively which span across ur members to thousand others that never attended ur church, who either heard of u from people or saw u on Tv.

A friend posted this on my FBook page

guy,
i hear smetin drastic io!
dt ur pastor died.
pls confirm if its true.thks
and this
so sorry men.
didnt know him personally but i know he blessed a lot of lives.
wot kinda sickness?
was discussin wit my dad dt maybe its d strain of continual fastin or smetin.
sorri men, i know u loved d man
Thats a testimony from someone who heard of ur great earthly deeds from others.

Bishop Oyedepo calls you 'my prophet'

General Evangelist of CAC Prophet SK Abiara calls you 'Baba Woli' (daddy prophet)

Prophet Samson Ayorinde(WEBIC) calls u Prophet of God.

I shed tears when i remember your words to me last October on birthday and how you made the Church lively with songs which you sang none stop for about an hour in the Sunday service. I was playing the Keyboard whilst praying and also enjoying myself.

Popular Gospel singer Esther Igbekele said in 2007 during her testimony that ur prayer of Dec 2006 manifested in her life.

Lady Evang Tope Alabi said same thing. Not forgetting Evang Samson Adekanbi (sammy P) who shared his testimony last December 2010. He said 'Adura ti baba gba fun mi ti se o. Moti gba visa America ati ti london bayi bayi ooo'

remembering Yinka Ayefele himself who used to play keyboard for you long ago. Just to mention but a few about this great and unique Man of God. A very fine musician par excellence

Despite the fact that whilst alive, members don't come here to advertise of make noise didn't affect ur fame and popularity to Nigerians. At my last count today, I've read about 6 threads on Nairaland alone since the news of ur death broke out on Sunday

its been difficult to take this sad occurrence out of my mind. nonetheless the words of paul comes to the rescue

Ro:8:32: He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things?

Ro:8:35: Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or unclothedness, or peril, or sword?

Ro:8:38: For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
Ro:8:39: Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God loves you and he has shown that to us

Isa:57:1: The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.

enitan2002:
Guy,
death is not the end of one's life, life continues well after death. whether now or later matters not, it is how we spend our lives that should be our concern and not how long we wanna live.
Thats what i'm trying to say up there. A well spent life must be worthy of emulation and stand as a challenge to those that are still alive. If a deceased lived a fulfilled life, others can reflect on it through a direct or indirect mourning and thus realign a derailing life back into position. ok?

enitan2002:
Come think of it, we've been waiting for the so-called 2nd coming of Jesus for the past two thousand years. Have we ever considered a second plan in case if Jesus ain't coming again, we should go meet him up there well prepared?
As christians we ve been taught severally in the bible to live our lives like jesus lived his i.e sinless, loving, spirit filled etc and then remember that

Ec:3:1: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
Ec:3:2: A time to be born, and a time to die;

My bro whether Jesus comes or not once we keep tabs to what we ve been told in the bible and act accordingly, the rest is settled.
Christianity EtcRe: God Is Unquestionable (my Pastor) Prophet Akinade Of Lion Of Judah Is Dead by jesus3(op): 7:40pm On May 02, 2011
Enitan as much as i agree with u, one fact must be noted that no one prays to die young (at times some others just do not hope of dying)

As a young man if a pastor or an imam walks up to you to say ' u will die and not see the lord's goodness(God forbid that for u) of course You're gonna reject that, despite knowing u're gonna die after all.

Death is the only constant thing. But when we mourn the dead we do so to appreciate their earthly works and also to reflect on our own lives to bring ourselves to remembrance of the fact that its gonna be our turn some day.

My Pastor do pray for long life for himself and that of the congregation, but in all GOD has the final say(he's unquestionable).

The key message is

Psalms:90:12: So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

may God help us

Its most unfortunate that this has happened. However one must take solace in what Paul had said in 1Corinthians

1Co:15:21: For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
1Co:15:26: The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1Co:15:54: So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.
1Co:15:55: O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
1Co:15:56: The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

Though very painful.

I was not in church on sunday(suffering from a little fever) but heard at about 1:53pm on Sunday 1/05/2011 from a member of how he had died the previous day 30/04/11

This man was a gift to the world. A pastor, preacher, evangelist, Prophet and a sound musician. A source of inspiration that has helped raised the destinies of thousands around the world.

He did Laboured for us the congregation and was never involved in any fetish thing or collected any money from Politician.

Bishop Oyedepo was in my church in 2007 and testified how God had ministered to him about the prophet. He's one of the end time Generals with diverse spiritual gifts. Ever dynamic and articulate

Papa lion u surely be missed( by me Toba). Numerous folks that doesn't attend my church would know him very well through MITV that airs the church Programmes on Saturday afternoon.

Its just too painful and i ve been in grief since last night.

May his soul rest in perfect peace

Pweety4me. I must love u according to the bible in Mark 12 30-32

M'r:12:30: And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
M'r:12:31: And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
M'r:12:32: And the scribe said unto him, Well, Master, thou hast said the truth: for there is one God; and there is none other but he:

SMH. This isnt going to help your case but will rather present u as a bad person and also dent your image on Nl more and more.

U sit comfortably in your uncomfort zone to throw poo at someone u know little about, not so? well to disappoint you, my level of education is way beyond what u have imagined. I left school long ago and at about now pursuing my third degree(if theres any thing like such) Let me break down in order not to get u confused and foaming dust from the mouth. In fact u are correct im still learning but not from a complicated fellow like your self

A 1st degree holder is a graduate with either HND or BSC, whilst a 2nd Degree holder is one that possesses a PGD or MSC/MBA. 3rd degree should be any level above the 2nd one(could be PHD, Associate prof or Prof), which is the level I'm pursuing right now. I haven't giving myself any title and i leave that to you to keep guessing till u find a suitor. Next time don't just chat dust online.

Pweety4me:
now your sitting here trying to advise a faceless forume about her attitudE on a faceless forum?r u 4 realhuh
Yes ma i am for real. Pls take note of the characters in bold.

Let me educate on what i meant earlier by describing Nairaland as a faceless forum. 'Face' book or Facebook as we have it today is a social networking site just like your very precious Nairaland that affords audience a Platform for discussion and engaing in other social networking activities. Nairaland unlike facebook is a bit discrete thats why your 'face' cant be seen here like it would be on Facebook. Assuming your handle or your christened name on FB is bimpe, of course your bimpe would have some of your full info like photograph and those of your close pal etc. Nairaland doesnt afford u such opportunity neither does your face show by the side of your handle pweety4me. Its only your post(s) that can be seen under your handle. Reason why its easy for pweety4me to go get genie's photo and put in her profile. This qualifies this site as a faceless forum unlike 'face'book.

when i said u are seeking husband on a faceless forum, i was 100% correct. Or have u seen my face? do u know the character behind the handle jesus? same applies to u pweety4me. we cant see your face on this faceless forum neither can we see your face on this faceless thread. If u look like a tiger or a hyena, we can't know(Im sure u must be one of those cos u are too hostile. lol)

Pweety4me is seeking husband from a Faceless forum on a faceless thread(I hope a Gorrila wouldnt apply to be your potential suitor since u cant see the face of your applicant. lol)

Pardon me, im a teacher thats why i had to give the above illustration to educate your ignorance on this faceless thread where u seek a would be husband

Pweety4me:
Plse go back to finish your education, infact i will sponsor u with that, u really NEED TO GO BACK BACK BACK TO SCHOOL!! smiley
My dear like i said above im still in school trying to achieve more than i presently posses. FYI, u cant give what u dont have. ok? Im sure u havent achive 2/3 of what i've gotten talkless of u sponsoring my education. I'll advice u to use your money to advertise your search for husband in the national dailies and also use it to equip your self mental.

I read some of your post and i had to laugh cos u write like a half baked secondary school girl

What i complained about is still be exhibited by the pathetic egocentric pweety4me too bad. In a matter of seconds i had to edit my post which was typed in a rush to pass the message across to the special husband seeker U'll see that the link had been removed

Too bad, as all i can see here is a potential third thread on this same faceless forum to search for prince william which im sure u'll never get.

BTW i did advised earlier that Prince Harry is still single. Why don't u try ur luck with me? or u see ur chances of having the young chap very slim?

Take the old step b4 its late

May the lawd save u from drowning

Stay bless and take ur search to River Niger. Who knows?

Another unknown cricket!
My dear, i meant no harm. I only gave an advice that seems to hurt your nerves. its quite understandable since pple say the truth is bitter and do hurt sometimes. However your bane as i can see is  your character which is hostile and egocentric. This have created a very bad and terrible impression about u in the minds of other faceless forum memers. If u dont change, u might come up here opening the 3rd thread in search of a suitor from a faceless forum which u might never get.

your hostle approach will hand u nothing other than to complicate your already complicated issue.

However as a  brother, i'll advice based on the title of your thread 'I'm Back & I Am Serious!' that u change your approach my dear and i'm sure if u gave my advice some consideration u'll be back here in no time with testimony of having found your own prince williams. If not im afraid u might have to open another thread for the 3rd time in search of a potential husband which u may not get.

Kindly change your very bad and pathetic impression that u ve created in the minds of forum memers about your self
