Ibuske:Don't be scared, there is a shortfall of pounds in Nigeria banks now, I check over 9 banks last 2 weeks before I settled for access bank last week Tuesday , up till now my account is yet to be debited for the value I requested using for A. The good thing is that you will be charged at the bank rate for pounds as at the day you submitted your for A. |
donmanuel1:Try Salford University |
I wanted to make payment yesterday, current rate at stanbic IBTC is around 510.80 to 1£, which seems on the high side as far as I'm concerned, oanda rate as at this morning is 497 to 1£. The form A rate for pounce is often subjected to available of fx on the bank. If a bank has enough fx the rate is likely to reduce and vice-versa. Overall, I think the rate will reduce in the coming days before a sharp rise again. SyberKate: |
Phatkings:HI Friend, Can we have a short discussion on the study of PLSM, I already had an admission but still want few clarification on the course. |
Phatkings:It's a slip , you are right, Logistics, Procurement and Supply chain management |
Phatkings:I'm in, I was offered admission in Salford University to study Logistics, Purchasing and Supply chain management, |
Phatkings:Congrats on your admission!!! I had admission in same school since November (Salford University) for MSc Procurement, Logistics and Supply chain management, my initial start date is May 2020 but I will have to deffer till Sept 2020, I was only given a scholarship of 3,500 tuition reduction, and I'm sure your total tuition fees would have been reduced too. Could this be a sign of post Brexit admission? or it's something I need to call their attention to |
scwestafrica:I work within the consumer good industry/FMCG industry within Nigeria and I already have an MBA in Marketing. I wanted something diverse from my earlier career path |
Good day great minds, This forum is obviously rich in terms of required information to make our dreams of studying in UK reality. I've had a business background in my career and studies here in Nigeria and I Intend to be in UK later in the year to study Logistics, Procurement and Supply chain management in Manchester (1 year MSc), I will like to know if this course has a good employment potential(high demand) in UK or there are other business courses that could offer me a good chance of getting employed at the completion of the program. Thanks as I await your candid opinion. |
LaaJiblik:Thanks for your response but you have not answered the question I asked, and if you don't have an idea, why not allow other people with meaningful contribution respond to my questions However, If I'm pretending, I won't be here asking such question. Regards |
To the Gurus in the house, Compliments of the season and happy new year in advance. Please I really want to know if it is acceptable to use Micro finance bank statement to support Visa application. I'm having challenge getting a suitable commercial bank statement of account. Looking forward to your quick response Thanks |
Good morning great mind, I'm about to apply for my Tier 4 Visa application, I'm I eligible to use a statement of account received from Micro finance bank or it has to be the one generated from a Commercial bank? Reason I asked is because I've seen someone denied UK visit visa, the person used a micro finance statement with a huge balance that he could not properly explain the source of the fund. Base on this, can I use a micro finance bank statement of account or it is a must to use statement of account from commercial bank? |
Good morning great minds, I just got an admission into Salford University for MSc program starting in March 2020. Please I have some questions to ask 1. Having submitted all required documents and instructed to pay the tuition deposit, how soon will I get CAS 2. I have once been denied visit visa about 2 years ago, do I need to state it when applying for the tier4 visa 3. Is it advisable to apply for student visa along with my wife and daughter or I should apply alone. (which one gives a better chance) 4. At the completion of the MSc program, what chance do I have, if I want my family to reside with me in UK |

Plz I need a reliable mechanic who specialise in Volks Wagen urgently. Location should be Surulere, Lagos. Thanks |
Good day house, I got a V/W Passat 2007 less than a month as (this is my second car) and I'm really not happy to have taken such decision. I stay around Surulere axis of Lagos which is close to where you find dealers of the car spare part. 1. I decided to work on the AC because it regulate itself, my AC specialist made it know that the compressor is automatic and he will need to make manual, after swindling me for a while (25k), he made it know that I need to change the compressor @ 35k, before he finished installing the compressor he demanded for another 30k for a built-in- condenser which I obliged him. To my surprise the car AC is far from working till now. 2. The fuel gauge is not working well, so I decided to take the car to where I can get the spare part in Surulere (iyana-itire). my front man has boasted a lot about a particular guy who specialised in fixing fuel gauge, only for me to be swindled as well, this really got me annoyed because I didn't know when the fuel in the tank got finished and it led to me buying another fuel pump of around 35k. The bitter truth is that I've not enjoyed the car from morning to night and this saddens my heart. I intend to travel with the car to Ibadan this coming weekend but I don't have the confidence that all will be well during the journey. Please is it that the car does not have a second hand value or I have not met with the right guys to work on it, better still may be I should sell off. Please advise. Thanks |
bentlywills:I served in this same this same place some years back, I recalled we made various complain for the NYSC officials to come to our rescue and since there was no improvement I had to run(Returned to Lagos) for my dear life. the place was so so horrible.....and up till now nothing has been done in terms of development or renovation. The so called leaders (youth) deserve a better life than this..... |
