Nairaland GeneralRe: Guys, Do We Have To Set A Certain Amount Of Our Monthly Salary For Beer. by JijiInc(op): 12:03am On Dec 19, 2009
@mccloud224.

Thanks for the tips, I am not an excessive drinker and I can do without alcohol for a week or more. I just explained a scenario that happens to guys a lot of times, but I guess some poster was not properly tutored to understand written English.

Yeah I agree spirit is another option as excess beer cause the "BEER BELLY".

Nairaland GeneralGuys, Do We Have To Set A Certain Amount Of Our Monthly Salary For Beer. by JijiInc(op): 11:53pm On Dec 17, 2009
Hey, Nairalanders,

As they say it is good to plan, than to plan to fail. I began to take a stock of my expenses for the month and behold I couldn't find to place the expenses for beer. I thought of the many unplanned times I had to go hang out with the boys or just take one or two to cool off after a hard day's work and "lastly for the road" So my belief is that an expense must be made for beer as na necessity, but what expense should we call it. As we pay bus fares, buy fuel and the others we also buy alcohol,

Abeg dis na 4 people wey dey shayo, nobody should come to this forum to condemn anybody o! As Durela talk SHAYO,SHAYO, SHAYO,

I need help to justify this expense.

RomanceRe: Can A Wealthy Man Ever Find True Love? by JijiInc: 11:55pm On Dec 16, 2009
Silly you! Why must you be always specific? You want people to notice you right? Remember a lot of folks on here are so rich that a piece of suit they put on can buy your freakin' camry; yet they keep mute . Likes of you are first timers; it is not a new thing.

Straight to the Point, try to be putting this in your noddle that not every girl is freaked with this car thing. Some ladies might just buy you and your over rated camry. No grudges 190, but don't make a car your priority

Stop being a juvenile. When you are 4 years into marriage ,then you will know what I mean. Your home will be your priority by then, not an ordinary car
@ Poster why did u have to be that harsh on 190, if it is his decision to flaunt some assets , leave him and keep ur riches to your self.

Is there love, men nothing like that, na just understanding na im dey marriage. Love suppossedly comes with money, so no matter how a woman tells u she loves u, men without money that love go fail badly. Love is like a car engine without engine oil there will be serious friction and can cause the relationship to crash.

Not too long ago, a chick posted on nairaland that her boyfriend is stingy, if there is no money in love, why did the chick not continue spending her own money
CareerRe: Mass Sacking Looms At Oceanic Bank by JijiInc: 10:12pm On Dec 15, 2009
the truth is,these banks and everything abt them i.e staff and co have always been `false`.last yr,they posted billions as profit and they are now laying off their workers.they started by paying silly wages even though they hardly made profit.imagine when u have to spend money u dont have-pple`s money.as for the sacked staff, they shld look elsewhere.they shld have known that all that glitters isnt gold.i could have been a victim if not that i listened to my dad who warned me dat the banks were just fronting.

debts pre tax debt
bankphb 439bn
union bank 223bn
finbank 94
springbnk 23bn

saw these on friday.almost all the banks are in huge debt.

CareerRe: How Do I Meet My 200 Million Naira Target By December? by JijiInc: 10:09pm On Dec 01, 2009
N200 million by can be met depending on various factors.

what market r u playing?
If u're in public sector & u have the contacts, then one account could do the magic for you.

However, if u're in a commercial seting like urs truly, then forget the N200milla in reatained balances & focus on driving transactions that will bring in the income for your bank.
No how the bank go sack a money maker. besides, it might be your income that the bank will use to pay the exorbitant interest rate the customer will
demand on N200million.

However, my dear if u're in an upcountry branch e.g say u're in damaturu, & u aint ready to beat some alhaji's sausage, then kiss the N200milla bye bye.
All marketing staff in the various banks have crazy targets, but you most learn which one will work for you. You can generate income for your bank by doing multiple transactions from different customers in the hundreds of thousand range or couple of millions, but to maintain a stable balance of N200 million at every point in time is hard except it is government's fund.
RomanceRe: His Fiancee Of 7yrs Cheated With Her Ex For 4 Months by JijiInc: 11:52pm On Nov 19, 2009
See different people's posts, we are all acting as saints. If the guy leaves her after telling the truth what makes you think the next girl will be better. Like say most of us no dey cut show elsewhere. The truth is ur Ex will always have a certain hold over you, person wey sample u finish, touch all    the nooks and crannies na im u dey run from anyhow. It has to be done with style and maturity. It is good she told him. You can't have a 100% trust in any relationship as there must be allowance for doubt as in the case we are all delibrating on.
Dating And Meet-up ZoneRe: Is Double Dating Fun Or Trouble? by JijiInc: 11:04pm On Nov 10, 2009
Let us all get it straight, when double dating for example are the two ladies in the same location i.e the same town/city. Then u can get away with it, but when they are in the same location, u are looking for trouble. Most people who date other people who are not in the same location tend to have a fling or a slight relationship as a temporary measure to keep themselves. This is a common practice as a guy who works in Lagos for example but has his girlfriend in Portharcourt will tend to have some flings in his location while still keeping his relationship strong.

There is this common one where u have a hubby or darling in a different location, but u have somebody who is in the same situation as u and both of u have a mutual agreement to help urselves out without any strings attached.

Most people double date, no be lie.

PoliticsRe: Federal Government Suspends Fuel Importation (Says LeadershipNigeria) by JijiInc: 10:20pm On Oct 31, 2009
We talk about deregulation, is the country ready for it? If Yar adull increases fuel price via deregulation to N109 is there a corresponging increase in the standard of living of the common man. We need fuel to power our generators, run our cars, e.t.c. At the moment I am using my generator, my car's tank is empty, and i csn not do without the essential fuel. How are we going to survive. God will help us!
BusinessRe: Africa's Largest ICT Mall To Be Built In Abuja by JijiInc: 10:10pm On Oct 19, 2009
Didn't CNP not carry out a feasibilty study before establishing such a product. How many individuals in Lasgidi go to structured companies to buy computer parts? We all go to Computer village. If u establish such a project in Abuja with the high cost of accommodation and offices, how much will the parts cost. Nigerians just want to do follow follow. If to say Baba 70 hear this one, im go dey sing say "Them get eye but no dey see, them get ear but no dey hear". A bunch of idiots thinking of spending people's money. What is the population of Abuja? How many people buy such stuff in that town?

Can anyone help with info on how to change address or request for e-dividend?
@poster, do visit any branch of First Registrars, they will provide the e-dividend form and you can also work on your change of address there.
PoliticsRe: Do We Need Another International Airport In Lagos ? by JijiInc: 9:35pm On Oct 12, 2009
There is no need to build another airport. People hardly visit Nigeria except Nigerians that live in abroad. Nigeria has close to 170 million and Lagos airport, it hardly have 4 million a year. What is it the point of new airport when foreign plane hardly come to Nigeria or they come and they do not stay more than 3 or 4 hours and just one plane from other country is pathetic. Use that money to develop a better living for those that live the country. New airport will not give food to common man, children and woman on the street food.
@poster, I guess you have never been to MMIA at any time in your life that is why you are a dumb ass. Don't you think Governor Fashola made a good proposition when he talked about building a standard international airport in Lagos and in the Lekki axis? This will create more job opportunities especially when it is done on a B.O.T basis (Build, Operate and Transfer for your dumb skull), instead of assigning FAAN to upgrade the substandard airports which have been renovated many times.

This will also bring revenue and increased trade to the country and empower Lasgidi to become a hub for airlines in the West African axis. This will be
welcomed by many Lagosians. Let's pray that BTF's plan to incorporate rail into Lagos will come to pass.
PoliticsRe: Which City In Nigeria Would You Like To Live In? Why? by JijiInc: 12:14am On Oct 12, 2009
Lasgidi is the best, it teaches you lessons to become successful and gives you a shot at life. It also has a mixture of the good, bad and ugly. It is the hustler's paradise any day. Wonderful trips to be caught in this city. I love hanging out in LASGIDI anytime.

ABJ is lovely, but you have got to have contact and money to survive, it is really big pimpin here. Them too dey form for here.

RomanceRe: What Men Do That You Hate Most? by JijiInc: 1:31am On Oct 04, 2009
I see posts saying men are cheats, liars and so on. Truthfully ladies ask yourselves " Would you like a quiet, truthful and church going guy with no game'? No be the lies and trips wey guys dey throw dey attract una? Yes guys play but they have that love in them, some ladies like to live in a fatansy world which the guy has to create before he can get you. Abi if guy come see u for ur house with okada u go accept am welcome am to ur place with friends around, abi no be to chase am and welcome the guy wey carry Escalade but who dey sleep with your bestfriend.

The truth is chicks want guys to create a fatansy world and how else can guys do it than to lie and cheat. A babe told me about a guy who is really doing well and is jumping around with 5 other girls and each girl claims the guy is dating her. I had to ask myself, did the guy ask the 5 girls out verbally, via written note or whatever or was there an agreement that they should have a relationship. The truth of the matter is the guy used his Effize to get to the girls and scoped them without asking them out and the girls all assumed that the guy wanted to go out with them. My guy was busy catching his trips and "SAMPLING" around.

So ladies na wetin una want una dey get. If you don't want guys who lie, cheat and do whatever vices you don't accept abeg enter church go carry one serious Xtian brother who go dey faithful. Abi the thing hard.

No hard feelings. My guys nothing do us, we go write our self make we see the chicks" response to wetin men "dislike" in women.
PoliticsAre Nigeria's Present Leaders And Ministers Intellectually Sound? by JijiInc(op): 11:30pm On Oct 01, 2009
Fellow Nairaland members, today is our great country's 49th birthday, looking at our Yar Dull's way of doing things, I have had to ask if he really appointed Ministers, aides and all who have proved themselves as leaders in their different professions. No matter how we yab Uncle Sege, he still appointed those who had the drive to take Nigeria to the next level at that time. Looking at the present dispensation, it appears as if the country has moved backwards. At least we had El-Rufai, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Oby Ezekwesili and others, they proved themselves, but this government we don't have an inkling of what the President has in store for us.

"E be like say our prayers for the country no dey reach Heaven" We need divine intervention.
