the navy boys did the right thing because arogundade is an FOC whos is based in the niger delta which is equvalent of a GOC in the army.

now with the fighting going on in the niger delta any disruption to an FOC's convoy would be seen as an assasination attempt by militants on arogunades life, because her car could have contained bomb.

so the navy boys and arogundade did the right thing by dealing with her, im surprised they did not whisk her away to detention and for interogation and questioning at a navy base.

the girl uzoma should know better being that her father is a retired colonel, she should know to move when you see a convoy.

ribadu is in a vicious power cycle and such people will continue until they get in trouble, read as i explain

, ribadu wants 3 things: respect , recognition and relevance from everyone he come accross and when people don't give him these 3 things he seeks more power and authority hoping that people will give him the 3 things, until he enters problem while seeking more power and authority!

uusally you first have to get notorized as professional in a particular area  e.g lawyer, accountant, armor officer etc before you get popularized.

most people who venture into politics had distiguished themselves in their field first(even if it was business, accounting, law, engineering, education) before they eventually decided to seek political office. even IBB was known within the nigerian armor corps as one of the most skilled armor officers before he became popular as the chief or army staff. then he became internationally popular when he became president.

ribadu was not notorized and not respected as a professional in the police, but then he still wanted to jump to an appointment that would make him popular on an international level!

there are some things people including ribadu have to understand about certain concepts:

1. authority: this is when someone has the authority to give orders and those orders are carried out e.g a general can give orders to a major and it will be carried out! 

2. power: this is usually the use of physical force to make someone or something change e. g police have the power to arrest, armed forces have the power to defend or attack or the power to shoot, an employer has the power to sack, transfer or employ and employee

3. relevance: people like to feel that their input, what they have to say, ther skill or expereince is important e.g  leaders of thought or experts in a particular area

4.  respect/admiration/complement:  this is when someone gives a due complement to someone else: it can be a junior respecting/saluting a senior or vice versa or even peers/mates respecting each other

5. recognition/rewards: this is when people are given something in e.g by medals or awards, salary, bonus, cash in exchnge for their contribution, skills, expereince, achievements

6  notoriety : this is when one has a stamp of approval from his organization either by virtue of uniform or badge on their cap or they are well known for their skill, experience within their own organization.

7. popularity: this is when one has not only displyed excellent skill in ones organization but that the person has been heard far and wide to posses such skill, knowledge , expereince, power or authority

If Ribadu has already received international acclaim as an acp then what kind of media coverage will he recieve when he becomes a DIG, because CNN news coverage will be too small for him at that point!

instead of ribadu to ask his seniors and those who had experince how to go about probe panel , he just decided he will do it all by himself.

thats why i said ribadu did not pass police college exam. because if he had experience he should know that he would need to ask help from sss about how they can extract implicating documents that would implicate the people being accused of curruption, but instead ribadu just simply arrests the person and then starts looking for evidence.

you have to use the undercover operatives in sss, dmi and CID who are pretending to be politicians to extract documents, evidence and information that would help to convict the accused. however ribadus national security level does not allow him to know who some of these operatives are thats why i said he is too junior and inexpereinced to handle EFCC.

infact aritsekola is an edo name i. e aritse-kola, if you look at him very well you will see benin mark on his face!

this river obas daughter eventaully married the warlords son so they could have a unity government partly because the river oba did not allow non edos to fetch water, fish, cross the river or use it to water their crops without paying royalties or taxes to him. her name was nkan or ekhan or ikhan i.e an edo name.

nkan eventually died during apparently a conflict between her edo people and the yorubas. because they felt that she should not have married the warlords son as the edos where being marginalized on the land because she was a queen and not a king.

at that point the obadan rivers name changed to iya-ghan-ku river meaning this is where the queen died!

Oke ado which apparently is in ibadan central was originally an edo settlement meaning "market of the edo's" because "ado" was the yourba attempt or forigen attempt to pronounce edo.

this oke ado is what  eventually became known as oke ibadan!

this means that names like ado-bayero is a benin +fulani name. If you look at the current emair of kano ado bayero you will notice benin mark on his face. this means that the current ruling house in kano is the edo ruling house. it also means that bayeros great gransfathers name was ado and was an edo chief that either fled to kano or was assigned by the oba as an ambassador to kano who this chief married a fulani princess by the name bayero!

Similarly the heads of states/presidents over the years did not choose the people over the years who would outsmart them but rather those that would obey them i.e those that where unassuming (so they made people think, until they decided to plan counter coups for themselves e.g babangida, murtala muhammed, gowon etc)

edo actually predates yoruba history, but the original obas palace in benin and many other historical sites where either stolen (and sold abroad for millions of pounds) by the british soldiers or burnt down in the early 18th century these historic sites had artifacts and graves that contained various ancient carvings, moldings, busts, and the remains of various chiefs, warlords, princes, obas etc. All those things burnt to ashes and its impossible to conduct radio carbon dating with ashes to determine the exact date of origin of those items. so by doing this the british changed history and this is why the oldest artifacts in the southern part of nigeria are found in ife and not benin.

I met an ibadan woman whos surname is olabisi ebitayo only about a month ago. this woman said her fathers full name was james enitan olawale ebitayo. she said her father told her that his grandther came from benin area via boat through  ibadan river in the early 18th century while feeling from british invasion of benin.

she also mentioned that her father mothers name was enitan. olabisi also disclosed that her mother was also one of the children of these edo and that her maiden name was florence olufunmilayo iyetunji.

according to her grandfather that these edo had to either adopt a psuedo yoruba name (such as adding tayo to ebi) or they had to intermarry with the yorubas they came across in order for them to be accepted and to camoflague their name from the british who where looking from them.

the british soon realized that the edo where the strongest in the south in terms of war and decided that they would select them as the supervisors in order to maintain stonghold over the other tribes also parlty because they already had the stronghold before the arrival of the british and alsready had the storngest relationships with the northern tribes. these first supervisors knew those people that where edo-yorubas from their name that was how they started selecting the first set of civil servants, soldiers etc i.e they selected mostly only edo-yoruba's or edo-ibgo's

If IBB is planning on using nuhu or EFCC to protect his wealth in the event of his demise (by appearing to have been probed adequately) IBB's wealth which would in the even of his demise be controlled by his son mohammed babangida could end up in an abacha loot like fracas.

It not by power, not by might, but by the spirit. Its not by EFCC, or police, its by what written, prayer etc anticurruption tribunals have tried without much progress because the people who head the tribunals including people like buhar are doing it according to their physical power. any that does not have the blessing of the almighty God shall itself be humbled this is why ribadu and EFCC are now being disgraced. Davids mark personal family life has nothing to do with his professional or political life . same with IBB he may be a bisexual but he knows his army, military and political aspects very well. try to be objective and not subjective! so his professional governance and political careers are excellent he scores 99% or of 100% and so far his tenue deserves a pass mark compared to his predecessors!

well almost all the senators , governors and house of reps are all currupt , but if you look at it david mark as well as the likes of senator john shagaya deserve to be senate president in nigeria reasons for this are:

brig-gen/senator david mark who like his father (whom was a civil servant) has served nigeria. nobody apart from the likes of  john shagaya, tanko ayuba who are now senators have served nigeria as government servants so not only do they have political experience they have government experience.

you see in the areas where those generals are from the people there don't contest with them , if you go to langtang they all agree that its people who have served the govt that should represent them! same in otukpo in benue! same in the area that tanko ayuba comes from in kano.

however in the south its not the same, southerners are more likely to want to object to a retired general or a retired civil servant representing them partly because southerners are more educated , more exposed, more outspoken and more oppositional hence the niger delta conflict, and as for yoruba people they can never be united nor are they straight forward, the igbo man is too individualistic and the niger delta man is just a pure radical!

they don't have hard core democratic radicals like wole shoyinka or uwazurueke in the north!

Its a similar situation in america the southerners dont contest with the ex govt leaders , but in the noth the people are more more educated, exposed and elightened and so therefore are more oppositional.

buhari can tell all northerners to boycott all purshases of omo detergent or any brnad of product and 90% of the people there will follow his instruction , but in the southern part of nigeria if obasanjo should try such a thing nobody will listen or obey him!

ribadu was thinking that because his father and grandfather had a good relationship with yar aduas father that he will enjoy same, but its not true actually nuhu is the obnoxious oversabi type while umar yar adua is the calm, friendly type

and the PSC, EFCC, ICPC, Ministry of justice are just waiting for him to finish his course before they will pounce on him. if ribadu is smart at this point he will go and press button and police headquarters for his transfer to a united nations job as a peacekeeper or at interpol headquaters in geneva or somewhere that way he will what is termed in the armed forces as "hide himself" . this is usually a tactic done by junior officers when they have are being askjed to do to many things by thier seniors or when the officer is in trouble it can also be termed "camoflaguing himself"

you cannot finish all your bullets/ammunition at once in war i, if ribadu has headed efcc as an ACP , then what kind of appointment will he hold as a DIG because by then posts such as NDLEA etc will appear too small for him!

If you are junior in an organisation and you have connections, then use your connections to help your seniors that you like to get to an appoitment so that you can work under that person without stress.

nuhu should have recommended a DIG that he liked to obj and he should have told the DIG to appoint him (ribadu) as the public relations officer,  but under G (behind closed doors it would be ribadu calling the shots to the DIG. this is why i said ribadu did not pass the police college exam, because if he did he would have plannd it well.

the DIG ribadu could have recommended would have eventually helped ribadu along his career by recommended and endoresed him for various top posts in his career with officers that the DIG knew, ribadu would then take those that the DIG wants to help into police to be under ribadus wing this is how things have historically been done. Its supposed to be a tit for tat system but ribadu wants to solo shine, outshine and overshine and now he is shining so much that the shine is blinding him!

Im not surprised at this development. This issue has caused a lot of girls to become virtual prostitutes. what is happening is that those banks cannot pay their loans because the stockmarket is down and also because their boys/managers in the finance departments are not sharp (not exposed, enlightened, educated trained, fast thinking etc)

i.e nuhu should take examle from the likes of various officers such as IBB, Abdulasalaam, Buhari Abacha, Obasanjo etc they all waited for thier time none of them was double promotod at least until they became head of state.

officers like nuhu who are too ambicious do not last long in govt service neither do they gt to the top e.g al mustapha, abubakar umar, marwa, brig-gen Sabo (abachas director of DMI) , so it may be better nuhu retire and go into politics

an officer that is too ambicious shows various signs like over sabi, wearing too many decorations/over dressed, badges etc, wanting appointments before seniors, talking to seniors anyhow, they usually challenge the system or proceedure of things, frequently get in power tussle with others or takes sides during a fight of 2 senior officers (which should not concern them in the first place) etc

nuhu is actually ashamed of his rank for his age (even though he will not admit it openly) because nuhu is what in the armed forces is termed a "direct service officer" i.e an officer that first went to a university before going to a police/military academy. at his age of around 43 now it would take him 12 years to get to DIG by which time h may be eligible for retirement depending on the policy in effect i believe the retirement age ranges from 55 to 65 years old.  they could even ask him to make up for the years he did not complete as am acp and this may lead him to be a dcp for 6 years instead of 3 years.

the wise saying "anything not aquired through the proper means/channels/procuures will surely not stand the test of time ie will not last"

sometimes its better you look just ahead at your feet more frequently than you glance at the horizon because you may trip over a stone (PSC, ICPC etc) besides the horizon is still far away.

personally i want alams and ibori in prison they are currupt, but the thing is theres a missing link between ibori and yar adua that yar adua has refused to disclose. it appears nuhu knows what the missing link is. nuhu will get in trouble big time because he already arrested mohammed babangida he is just making more and more enemies.

it appears nuhu is bent of exposing the fact that its almustapha that is  behind ibori (being that he sponsored him to office) and its no secret that almost all the governors when obasanjo came to govt where sponsored by IBB, jerry useni, bashir dalhatu, abdulsalam abubakar, mike akhigbe, hamza almustapha and tony anenih and it appears nuhu was about to expose all these including royalty kickbacks that are still being paid to these people till date from the revenue derivation, Joint development zone, federal allocation, and state revenues, world bank/EU grants etc

my recommendation for the PSC is to allow him to finish his nipss cource, then simply return him to his original rank seniority and have him immediately report to the national hopital abuja before he is re-appointed elsewhere, to see a neurologist who will scan his brain and ask him various questions and check his blood for the main brain chemicals from there they will prescribe him the drugs that will make him a new well behaved and changed nuhu.
