PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 4:00am On Aug 25, 2008
nuhu seems to have a psychiatric/neurological issue (brain damage)

because as a juniour officer he was fond of just walking up to the offices of top senior officers such as army GOC's, DIG's, SSS offices in charge of zones simply to salute them and introduce himself as the grandson of the late popular ribadu.

his brain/mind is criticising him (due to a very critical up bringing from his parents) and telling him that hes not doing enough and that hes not well known and that he has to prove to people who he is?

he needs whats know as cognitive behavior therapy and he needs to be put on drugs that can control his semi hallucination (that hes a nobody) as well as drugs to control his mood and frequent anger outbursts. These outbursts are a reaction to him disputing to the critical voice in his head in an attempt to calm it down,  its also for this reason that he has been and is still smoking indian hemp since his secondary school days all in an attempt to calm the critical voice in his mind.

im sure the aptitude exam he sat for before being selected for training at police college indicated that he had such brain problems but instead of the review board to recommend that he go to a psychatric hospital so they could prescribe him the drugs before he commensed his training or at least before he was commisioned. but because of man know man they didnt tell him and this is the result, narcicissm (wanting to be in charge or everything and everybody, wanting more respect than the person deserves, wanting rank/appointment, office thats not close to reality or not feasible)
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 3:46am On Aug 25, 2008
ribadu had no expreince with tribunals or probe, its the likes of generals patrick aziza, hananiya or any other police or military officer who had exprince with tribuanls/probe panels that should have been called by obasanjo to head such sensitive tribunals. nuhu could have been the vice chairman not the main chairman.

life and career expereince cannot be bought example is mike adenuga who put his 24 yr old son as md/ceo of globalcom had a big problem the boy started sacking all the people who built the company from scratch as well as those who knew the technical issues simply because they disagred with the boy on various issues. adenuga had to sack the boy himself because the company was loosing money to competitors (MTN, Celtel, M-tel etc) during this period. i hear its the sam with subomi balogun and his son as well, that hes mis-managing the bank his father built partly because of his sons larger than life plans.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 3:25am On Aug 25, 2008
i also agree with quatasyste. IBB and previous governments made sure they carved the northen states to look big on the map so that they will appear powerful and appear to have a large population.

if anyone has ever gone to NDA or police exam. they will notice that the number of people in the northern state lines are very few. and the number of candidates in the states from the south are very large. along the line in their careers a lot of southerners are retired prematurly because of quota system, only to get to the top and have a norhterner appointed over them . or a northerner controlling their seniors because thy used their connects to help certain southerners get to the top. and its the same in civil service.

this is where we get the term nothern apologist i.e a southerner who is playing boy boy to some northerners in order to have some power of his own e.g orji kalu and  pa awoniyi of arewa consultative forum and alhaji lateef adegbite (chief imam of nigeria). nothing concerns awoniyi with arewa because he is not a fulani, he is a yoruba from illorin. its a different case if it was saraki or gambari in arewa because they are fulani from illorin!

you see it is the prick that obasanjo was using to sleep with her i.e sexing ndidi, that has affect her to the point that she is behaving and thinking like an obasanjo (i.e iyabo) see what john thomas can do , ive hard of pussy power but this one na wa!, lol
PoliticsRe: Ndi Okereke-Onyuike Arrested By EFCC Over Obama Xtravaganza! by jimmyjam: 2:27am On Aug 25, 2008
how can ndi say she was mobilising funds and support in a place where people cannot vote for obama. open international forigen campaigning and fundraising for foriegn campaigns is usually unconstitutional in most countires. its like people campaigning for samuel doe to be president in liberia in nigeria.

this is what ibgo people like will do anything for money, see now her love of money has got her in trouble.
PoliticsRe: Why Is Nigeria Not Working? by jimmyjam: 4:01am On Aug 24, 2008
there are 2 main things hindering nigeria:

No 1.  niaja is not working because a lot of nigerias ruling  class :politicians, top military brass are homosexuals and foggots usually behave like women and these gays are running the country like a womans kitchen.

name it whether its IBB, sarki mukhtar, sola rhodes, alex akinyele, abdulasalaam abubakar, orji kalu, james ibori, etc thay are all homosexuals , I'm starting to think that obasanjo and yar adua could be gays as well! this gay thing is a cult, an international one!

No 2. The fulani: they are african gypies that have no particular home , they are spread all over west and east africa when they are not in power in one country, they take the money they have stolen from one country to rule another one. If not then how did bamanga tukur become a minister in sierra leon?

These fulani have support from arab countries, pakistan, india, germany, european union. this is why there where allegation that orji kalu and some southern poiticians got their political campaign funds from certain arab countries, channelled through people like IBB.
they make sure that its the fulani agenda that the united nations hears thats why most nigerian ambassadors to UN have been fulani up till gambari today.
they also have a larger share in most of the major companies in the world than any other west african tribal group.

It is good for Ndidi, she was long over due for removal, herself soludo and cecilia ibru are the ones behind th current nigerian stock exchange crash all 3 of them should be removed. imgine soludo saying he wanted to peg the dollar lol all 3 of them are a bunch of jokers
WebmastersRe: Interswitch Merchant Charges And Setup Fee by jimmyjam: 11:04pm On Aug 23, 2008
come is it that the people from nopestco are trying to collect the money they owe people via interswitch. because how can any normal company or human being charge $1,500.00 (one thousand five hundred dollars) just for a bill payment and debit card account (e-transact). the new alhaji thats in charge of interwitch should be sacked, thier office should be burnt down.

it should not cost more then $100.00 (i.e ten thousand naira) as a one time fee. Or $10 (10 dollars i.e 1,000 naira) as an anuual fee if billed annually
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 8:56pm On Aug 23, 2008
ICPC is also suppossed to be calling people to order, for example the late wahab folawiyo had more police attached to him than the IG of police, he also had a convoy that included official police pilot vehicles with police lisence plates and undercover police attached to him and he used siren any how he liked, simply because he had the money to pay for these and he because he knew certain people. unfortunately the convey could not follow him to death!

the length of folawiyos convoy made the convoy of chiefs of army staffs look like a short  toothpick lol the same for adedibu he was using siren and police convoy anyhow. same with some oil companis and banks in nigeria they have more police attached to them, than in an entire zonal command.  okiro needs to do something about all this gross indiscipline, disorderliness, bad conduct and unbecoming behaviour in the police and in the public! these people should be warned via the media, if they rufuse to listen they should be arrested and brought before ICPC and code of conduct bearau wheather they are politicians, govt servants, private sector etc
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:50pm On Aug 23, 2008
EFCC overstepped its illegal constitutional role because its only suppose to be handling 419 and other financial/bank crimes. the role os prosecuting currupt politicians and govt officials is for ICPC and code of conduct bearau.

its both of those commitees and tribunals (ICPC and code of conduct) that are also supposed to be handling things like use of 15 official cars by a governor when each governor should not have more than 10 official vehicles attached to them (including pilot vehicles, dispatch riders etc, vehicles for us by first lady etc).

its also both of these commitees that should handle prosecution of things like abuse of siren, having more police, SSS personnel attached to them than should be etc to govt office holders

ICPC and code of conduct rally need to stop a lot of governors, x-ministers, businessmen from the blatant abuse of sirens, police personnel etc for xample as nuhu is in kuru (nipss course) he has nothing less then 10 to 15 or more poilce men attachd to him when hes only suppose to have about 4 (one driver, one aid-de-camp, one orderly and one security guard at his residence) if he requested for such a large number of personnel it should be denied, however a bullet proof car should be provided for him incase of possible assasination attempt on him.

however there are some DIGs who dont have bullt proof cars provided by police, who are attending the same nipps course!
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 4:54pm On Aug 23, 2008
in any parade training this is usually the case a junior cadet or junior youth corper (who only has OND or is a year one cadet) can be told to take over and be the parade commander by the training officer. at that point in time what ever he says whether its attention, right turn, by the right quick march , etc it has to be obeyed even by PHD holders who are just going through youth service.

the training officer can then tell the junior cadet aftr a while to join back with the others and can then tell a senior cadet or older corper with a PHD degree or masters degree to take over the parade. this is all thats happening with the case of EFCC and ribadu.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 4:46pm On Aug 23, 2008
normally EFCC should not have been created because EFCC already exsisted as the financial crimes department at police hadquarters.

it was only brought to the front of the parade to take over the sword and to be the parade commander, by order of the training instructor (obasanjo) and a junior cadet/junior corper was brought forward i.e nuhu ribadu

now that a new set of training instructors is in charge (i.e new president, new psc, new minister of justice etc) it appears that thy are poised to tell the junior cadet to leav th parade all together i.e they have given the order "cadet ribadu fall out"
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 4:33pm On Aug 23, 2008
nuhu went from  ACP to DCP to CP to AIG, thats 3 ranks ie triple promotion. it is unheard of and has nevr happend in the history of nigeria (except during a state of national emergency , war or coup)
he did not have that good of a performance for such promotion. normally a promotion to DCP would have been adquate and enough. besides there where officers who are who where doing a better job than he was, but because those officers are not influential they didnt get such recognition.

the only people who should have received that kind of promotion ribadu recieved where the officers that survived (for their bravery and survivalship) and those that died in the airforce plane crash that was carrying general nuhu bamali however obasanjo did not appove such.

In the case of Haz Iwendi there is a difference between the 3 terms of: "active service" and "service" and "non active service"
Iwendi did not die in active service because he was not in the process of trying to catch armed robbers at the time of his death.  so he died in normal service, however he died in active service of eating kpomo (cow skin) which lead to his heart attack!
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 2:42pm On Aug 22, 2008
people like IBB had the backing of all of these factions: his joining of the army was facilitatd by the sultanate, by the nortern politicians, by his school teachers (who where civil servants and some eventually joined th army themselves), in the early point in his career it appears IBB was also reciving support from big business men such as Allhaji's Dan Kabo, Dantata, Chanchangi etc and by the time he was a cornel he was rciving money from the likes of MKO Abiola. also he had the support financially and intelligence wise of germany, france, russia, china, saudi arabia, u.k, jordan etc and he represents the interest of thes countries in nigeria, escecially the business interest.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 2:39am On Aug 20, 2008
there are 5 factions constantly at war with each other in the nigerian armed forces, police and civil service these 5 factions are:

1. the children, relatives and friends of current or retired military personnel/old civil servants
e.g people like david mark, salihu ibrahim

2. the children, realtives, and friends of politicians e.g Obasanjo, Ribadu

3. the children, relatives and friends of traditional rulers e.g late yar adua, ojukwu

4. the children, relatives and friends of neutral parties e.g Gowon (whos father was a reverend father) sani abacha (whos father was a trader) the neutral partis all attest to wanting to join and actually joining because they had uncles who where policemen soldiers who infleunced and helped them as refrees e,g sani abacha had an uncle known as cornel shuwa.

5 undercover intelligence operatives from other countries, and from inter-spying within the nigerian govt itself (e.g army spying on navy, or army spying on police, police spying on sss etc)

klas the list of officers you pasted are all political officers this is why  the IG (okiro) at the annual police conference recently said "the police should be non-politicised and be able to carry out its function irrespective/devoid of what the political climate is ( i.e wheather democratic, interim, military govt)  and that "issues of police personnel being used for political purposes, ballot stuffing, intimidation of voters, intimmidation of fellow officers (because their people are in govt) will be henceforth be dealt with etc its in line with this that alot of officers are about to recieve demotion, retirement, dismissal, sack and possibly arrest notices

originally when th british set up constabularies the initial factions that started them where
the neutral parties (just people being selected randomly) and those who where already traditional soldiers in an emirate that where loyal to an emir i.e glovers hausa etc
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 2:27pm On Aug 19, 2008
molulu im not arguing with you, your a nice guy its just that ribadu and all the others are simply victims of philosophy

philosophy in everyday life

peoples philosophy or guiding principles that shapes their way of living their, life, beliefs, behaviours, manners, conduct, the way thy relate to people etc

people philosophy is determined by Authority/upbringing (parents, schools, environment, religion), Intuition (what they think is right) Good/bad results from life exprience, Reason (critical thinking, rational thinking, logical thinking)

the 2 main branches of philosphy are

1.the tough minded: prefer a loose-ended, empirical, realistic view in short that people and things should be free and not follow any particular order, method and that life is what you physically put into it and make it to be

2 the tender minded: prefer an orderd, methodological, aesthetic (beautiful, calm, easy going) abstract (dreaming, coming up with good ideas)

no 1 people also like blocking the no 2 from positive attainment, progress and beuatification

no 2 people like getting and forcing no 1 people into an orderd lifestyle and usually tell them their not creative, don't have taste etc

the sub-branches are

materialists: believe that life is merely within what you see, what you touch, what you tastse and what you hear, they believe you have to cut your coat (your life) according to how you want your life and future to be. thes people will cut their coat according to how they want it i.e thy shape their own destiny with their phisical hands e,g coup plotters
idealists: they believe that things should follow an ideal order, method or way  they are good at coming up with ideas and day dreams but have issues implementing them e.g falana, shoyinka and co
optimists: believe that people should strive for the attainement of happiness and fulfilment, that one should do and tend to a good duty/job e.g gamamiel onosode
and that its what one sows that one reaps.
pessimist: believe in illusion of the mind and interllect: e.g  telling people their wrong when their right, or their lazy when their hardworking e,g bhuddists and antheist
they can also self psych themselves in preparation for any situation, they also believe in controlling minds and emotions of themselves and others.
emphericist: believe that its is from experince that you develop principles before you advise others
rationalists: believe that one first has guiding principles/thoery and tests to see which of those principles is write or wrong and then they reshape their principles and theories
aesthetics: that one should beautify, dress well, build nice houses and things should follow a particular order, method, e.g mrs opral benson
ethicist: they believe in the differences in whats right and wrong , whats good and bad e.g shoyinka, ribadu, falana, most religions etc
logicist: they believe that one needs to analyse various parts of a whole, or the whole of various parts. they can cause problem betweeen people or they can unite people. Nuhus prosecution may be a part of a whole i.e it may be a part of a a grand scheme/master plan to discredit yar aduas govt so that nullification of his election or a coup will be very welcomed amoung people.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 11:48pm On Aug 14, 2008
yes police authorities and psc can officially approve promotion today, however the same same psc can dismiss those people the next day the psc derives its powers from the constitution and what ever thy say is final, being that police are civilians and can go on strike , it also means that ribadu can appeal the psc's decision of demotion, retirement or dismissal in a court, but his chances of winning are slim to none! becaus the court will simple tell him that "its in the constitution, whatever the psc says is final".
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 6:18pm On Aug 14, 2008
normally it would take ribadu about 6-10 years to get to AIG (assitant inpector general)  and 15-20 years to get to IG of police. So ribadu is simply putting himself in a position to retired before his time. its better he take his time and get there slowly and normally within guidelines, because premature retirement or dismissal will make all his hard work and contribution appear to have been in vain or futile.

ribadu has the following list of enemies, and there are many targets he has to hit, however these people have only one target (ribadu) and they will jointly pound the target:

-politicians
-former govt office holders : e.g ex presidents/heads of state, ex ministers  etc eg IBB, Atiku, , Bode George, Kema chikwe etc
-his seniors in the police including retired police officers
-other anti curruption czars
-illegal oil bunkerers
-Bank md's and CEO's
-other people who feel ribadu could mess them up in the future such as drug barrons, phamacist owners
-other enemies of progress
- even justices in the judiciary are scared that ribadu or EFCC can accuse them of collcting bribe to rule in peoples favour in a court case

and this list of  his enemies know that the source of his power and commision comes from the PSC, so it appears that they are bribing the commision or using the boys they have placed in the police/civil service in the commission to mess ribadu up
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:43am On Aug 14, 2008
ribadu, shoyinka , falana and buhari are strong individual forces i.e companies that have good morals but lack the unity to form their own brigade (combined anti curruption brigade) and therefore cannot overcome the corrupt brigade (at least by conventional means/weapons lol) the currupt brigade appears to be very unified despite their curruption. the reason why is because falana, shoyinka, buhari, ribadu etc are so critical that they will even criticise each other and they compete over who is more critical and more anti currupt, while the corrupt brigade members are competing for who will steal more! It also appears ribadu unconciously has joined the currupt brigade by using obj to over promote, over appoint him.

ive also noticed that in life its not really what you dream and want, its more of what is available and can reasonably get. ribadu wants to dream that he will not get in trouble also he wants appointments, ranks and posts that are not reasonable for his age, experince, rank etc

as a fellow honorable nairalander said "its better you take small progressive steps forward  than to take one large step forward and have to take 10 large steps backwards as a result"
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:33am On Aug 14, 2008
molulu are you telling me that komolafe and femi falana had to say and write all that  simply to say what could have been summed up as "falana is a never satisfied critic that has benfitted financailly from obj, and is scared that yar adua could die in office, and so is returning to his favorite past time of being a social critic hoping that the new govt may recognise him and  pick him for some appointment" falana virtually never criticised obj during the last 8 years.

IBB have referred to people like falana, shoyinka etc as being baseless and headless meaning they have no or little  loyalists neither are they loyal to any particular person themselves. IBB is talking from experience he has been a good follower of powerful figures and today he has many followers. people like falana, shoyinka and possibly ribadu follow
people who there leadership is not strong (weak leaders such as obj, yar adua) and due to that remain without a base nor brigade (few fellow followers)

similarly like them to all remain within their own individual ideologies. for example do you know shoyinka is an athist? there are only a handfull of athist in nigeria , but IBB is muslim and there ar many muslims in nigeria!

A wise general once told me" if you planned on forming a brigade, but the number of men you can muster is too small, you will simply have to realise that you are actually a 'company' and have to join up with the ranks in other brigades thereby coming under the control of a division!
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:12am On Aug 13, 2008
Nuhu is like a primary 2 student who was more intelligent that his fellow colleagues and was recommend for promotion to primary 4. only to get there and find out that the primary 4 students are outsmarting him and collecting all he owns, his money , his books, his school uniform, his sandals, they are bullying him, so he may have only needed to be promoted to primary 3 and not 4. and now the student is crying and hates the school and may even have to leave the school altogether.

a wise man once told me "people will use you for thier own agenda at the end of the day they will dump you and give you nothing after thy have used you, they will even take more from you instaed of giving you are reward or compensating you. how can someon take a camel for hundreds of kilometers or miles without giving it water!

an example of this is IBB , he used all his so called "IBB boys" however none of them has become president of nigeria till date. despite all they did IBB would have at least helped people like marwa to ascend the PDP throne instead of yar adua being that marwa served IBB as a loyal boy, but he did not marwas is today just an ambassador!

and this is the same with OBJ and yar adua who used nuhu for their agenda and have set him up to take more from him, than they gave him, or helped him to get.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 4:52am On Aug 13, 2008
EFCC is actually unconstitutional, illegal, illegitimate and is not in line with due process because the constitution states that the president has the sole right to constitute and dissolve federal tribunals and task forces (of which EFCC is both a tribunal and and task force) and so the actual creation of a law recognising it in the constitution is illegal as well as null and void unless the previous law is first repealed it creates a double standard which has a latin term in law.

all senators and reps that where involved in debating, sponsoring and passing the bill are supposd to be arrested and should face ICPC and PSC for forming an illegal tak force, misusing the police unconstitionally.

my predictions are that the PSC will ask ribadu to come for a probe and ribadu will not only be demoted, he could face double demotion back to rank of superintended of police. the PSC may even ask him to face ICPC for allegations of bribery from some of OBJ's favourites that where exempt from facing EFCC this could eventually lead to his dismissal from the NPF and NIPSS will simply strip him of his award being that he would have been dismissed from the police.

He may even end up with a jail sentence from both PSC and ICPC, a fine, or both. He may end up in a prison with some of the 419ers that he convicted and they will beat shege out of him in prison! OBJ and yar adua will come under scrutiny both locally and internationally . people like buhari may use the opportunity of such a blunder to form a stronger opposition against the govt of the day etc
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:56pm On Aug 09, 2008
there are 4 or more types of pressure that people can succumb to:

1 peer pressure:

im sure a lot of ribadus mates, peers and school mates from nigrian law school, police college etc put pressure on him to form EFCC using obj and yar adua they  also could benefit in terms of appointment.

a lot of nigerian men specially those who steal from government or abuse power are simply doing it because their wifes, girlfriends and expecting certain things from them.

2 parental pressure:

ribadu wants to please his father, family and uncles . a lot of nigerian parents like to see their child achieve while thy are still alive, so that they can boast to their friends that their child is more sucessful than theres, ribadu is also a victim of this type of pressure.

evn george bush senior appears to be under prssur from his father george bush junior, the same with colin powel and his son. so sometime parents and relativs push thier children to their own peril

3 immature/child pressure:

this is when somone senior in age is allowing someone younger to over influence them: e.g a small child wanting too many sweets that can cuase him to get sick or that can leave the older adult finanicially broke and eventually in trouble themselves

ribadu over influenced people for his over promotion, for creation of EFCC, for attendance to NIPSS course etc
and now hes gtting sick (demoted, queried etc) and obj and yar adua may eventaully get in trouble themselves for over obliging and over encouraging him.

4. group pressure/pressure groups: this is use of pressure groups such as commitiees, associations, boards, unions etc to make someone change their decision or direction.

If was pressure groups, riots, workers strikes, leaders of thought and international organisations that influenced, adviced and urged IBB to step aside

sometimes people from a persons village or rural area can put pressure on thier sons and daughters who are in a certain positions to marry many wives or to steal government money, so they can share it from them

similarly ribadu used the PSC to promote himself, he also used OBJ to influnce and use a group of senators to create EFCC in the constition.

also EFCC has too much pressure and powers in some areas that its not suppose to have because EFCC was even taking on the role of Interpol in nigeria which is suppose to be handling internal 419ers, EFCC is for local 419 ers (govt curruption, local nigerian fraudsters) not international based (fred ajudua)

4 political pressure/ pressure group
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 6:33am On Aug 09, 2008
ribadu cannot want to be nigeria biggest anti curruption czar without mentioning and hailing people like buhari because people like buhari can use the connctions and influnce they have to stop his (ribadus) shine. he was asked in the media if buhari was his mentor , but ribadu said no. so he blew the oppourtunity to play the role of what i call "a yourba congo drum beating praise singer at an owambe party" becaus h should have mentiond that buhari, bamayi did a lot against curruption.

there a particular culture, code, creed of whats expected from you in the nigerian armd forces if you fall short of these they can mess you up. its just like if someone tells you there are some things that will help you survive the culture of working at shell petroluem or at zenith bank for example. unfortunately no one has told ribadu what is called modus operandi or "unofficial code of conduct" of how the nigrian , police, civil service and armed forces operate.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 6:03am On Aug 09, 2008
Ribadu is not the only one that was rapidly promoted , apprently the late gen shehu musa yar aduas son was also promoted above his nda coursemates, he is now a major while his mates are still army captains. and so where many officers that have ties to politicians.

it is politicians that are spoiling the armed forces and police with this culture of rapid promotion and bribe to effect arrest of political enemies or to facilitate retirement of certain officers. as the saying goes waiting for your turn is very important.

in nigeria if you want to outshine the big bosses you can end up worse than your started and this is what ribadus issue is. hes not alone there was a navy captain alile who was retired lately and is the son of apostle hayford alile. alile was very arrogant he stepped on toes of even his seniors and was openly making statements like "no admiral can touch me, we are now in democratic rule" unknown to him that its a group of retird former naval chiefs that control the navy. they death with him with retirment infact he was almost dismissed and they mad it clear to him that the navy was not for the children of apostles, that he should go into banking like his father.
PoliticsRe: Police Demotes Ribadu- Ex Efcc Boss by jimmyjam: 5:34am On Aug 09, 2008
ribadu is very arrogant, pompous , proud , heady , he has been like this since secondary school becaus of th powerful oligarcy northern fulani family he com from and all nigerians should learn from this. in nigeria your boss is like a big fish in an aquarium, and if you as a small fish want to outshine them they can swallow you alive.

ribadu stepped on so many toes in the police and politians a lot of politicians will pay high price for him to be retired so that he will not jail them. Also police officers and even people like buhari are jealous of him and will stop at nothing until hes retired because he wants to outshine buhari and musa bamaiyi on curruption. ribadu is like col abubakar dingiwa umar., they are very professional they both know the job very well , but very arrogant and blunt and some people dont like it!

Nuhu ribadus issue is not uncommon, it is known as "field rank or appointment rank"  in armed forces and police circles.

An officer can temporarily recieve advance and double promotion  based on a specific skill or training they have for the purpose of being in charge of a particular department, they may even train their seniors or restructure the, department or corps. the aim of it is for effectiveness of the program and department.

During the nigerian civil war, police and military officers who where usually being trained within 3 to 4 years, had their taining reduced to  a 1 year direct /short service commision which was created for holders of OND, HND , Bsc, medical doctors etc

once they left NDA and Police college they where given field ranks as Lt cols,  majors, captains with only one or two months of specialist training  versus the 1 year we have today (the specialist areas included armour, signals, pilot training, criminology etc) even constables where being promoted to inspectors  as soon as the civil war was over they all returned to their original rank.

even during the liberian war, many nigerian army officers held field ranks even the commanders such as generals dogonyaro, olurin, shagaya, inienger etc as soon as their assignment was over and they reported back to nigeria , they returnd to their original rank of brigadier, the army they did this so as to ensure compliance, respect and prevent insubprnination from other west african armed forces that where under their command

there are many appointments ribadu can still hold to regain the field rank especially if he heads NDLEA, NAFDAC , CID, SSS he can even be assigned to national intelligence agency or to be part of interpol in the UN or hear in nigeria.

GTB your the best the only thing we need from you now is the following

-the ability to transfer cell phone minutes, pay for cell munites etc to most cellular companies from GTbank website

-an instant message/chat for customers who can log in to use it and chat with people in various dpartments for various issues.

-ability to transfer to external accounts via sms, because cost of e-transact card/account is not yam.

-ability to recieve bills to ones cell phone via sms i.e getting an text message on how much you owe for electricity, water, including date due and amount due i understand that e-transact may be have this capability but i heard the initial cost for -tranact card/account is about 50,000 naira or sonething ridiculous like that, haba interswitch is it becaus paul lawal is no longer th md/ceo?

It not a matter of using so called "janded" standard websites or advertising on CNN to attract people for deposits, its all about the customers expereince and priorities the. GTB beats the us and uk standard to open an account becaus they will open one within 24hrs with chequebook/passbook valuecard complete, mastercard is within 2 to 5 days. so GTB is really fast! and their e-kiosk branches are virtually run by eletronic kiosk machines and ATM machines.

I noticed Access bank has recently changed its website in an attempt to attact deposits, people already know that the website dosnt match up to what you get at GTB.

GTB and ETB are also the most financially stable than most of the 2nd and 3rd generation banks.

Look at what happened to spring bank, thats what most likely will happen to zenith because when politicians want to bring politics into a bank thats what happens, politics is for national assembly not a bank!

you wont need hospitality if you have good online banking because you will hardly ever show up at the bank branches.  you can sit down at your computer or on your cell phone and order a certified check to be paid to someone among other things, infact with GT bank you only have to show your original documents for sighting and courier services now offer return document handling for document sighting purposes.

however if your the type that wants hospitality in terms stopping over at skye bank during rush hour to avoid traffic while the staff there give you a soft drink and offer to follow you to the skyebanks guest house just down the road for a quick rompus until traffic clears, them be my guest. all prostitites are looking for money but not all money is looking for prostitutes!

apparently this is the new marketing system in banks to have a guest house and the hotels they own close to the bank branch for a quick rumpus under guise of telling people its for complementary business meetings, to avoid traffic or if the customer missed their flight or is in town for the weekend and that they can even request ladies or gentlemen (who are usually the bank staff or models available on call) to host, accompany and escort them even from lagos to abuja and back for a few days. depending on the customers balance in their account they can even bring a british person and moet to th guest house/hotel. but if the persons bank account is low , its just coca-cola and a free watching of satellite T.V lol
