Buhari enlisted in the Army on April 1962, same day with General Musa Yar'Adua. Babangida enlisted in the Army on December 10 1962, same day with Abacha, Gado Nasko, Vatsa, etc. So, Buhari and Babangida both enlisted in 1962, but Buhari in April, Babangida in December.

@OP, where did you get this pix from. This pix is not that of Buhari as HOS but of late Gen Murtala Mohammed. Buhari has never had chubby cheeks but Murtala had.
Also when Buhari was HOS, IBB was already a general.
Moreover, in 1984 when Buhari became HOS black and white pics were no longer in vogue even in the villages.

But I thought anyone who wants to attend will be screened and thoroughly searched. I am not a government official, neither do I belong to any political party, I am a patriotic private citizen, so does it mean that I won't be able to witness the inauguration?

I myself would like to witness the historic inauguration of General Buhari as President, but I have the apprehension that Eagle Square could be a restricted area tomorrow. Will patriotic ordinary Nigerians who wish to witness history be allowed into Eagle Square tomorrow for the inauguration, or attendance is strictly by invitation?
