The points you outlined here are not crimes, so he couldn't have been arrested for the reasons you gave. While I am 100% opposed to his detention for over 2 years without trial, I think it will be more helpful if we try to find out the real accusations levelled against him. Making conclusions based on ethno-religious assumptions won't help us at all in this country

I created this moniker merely to hide my identity as I am one of the active members on this Forum.Moreover, the lady in question is also on this forum although she is just a passive member.
I met her during my service year in the southwest and caught feelings even on the first day. We got talking and a relationship started after some weeks. I really love her even more than before and I still have this feeling that she would definitely come to her senses although a part of me is telling me that she is not willing to make amends.
I have been able to empower her although much proceeds are not coming forth for now as we are collectively building a strong customer base for her business and with God on our side we would definitely get there soon. Besides she is a beneficiary of one of the federal government of Nigeria employment schemes for youths in the country. She never wanted to get herself involved in the scheme fearing that she would not make the final list but I encouraged her and took it upon myself to make it work out for her. I have shown her love and care in my own way and I'm even willing to do more for her because I want to see her Happy.
However, the bone of contentment is that she is too egoistic and rarely does she see her wrongs nor feel its cool to apologize. I have sat her down several times and tried to talk senses into her head and even had her close friend talk to her about it but all to no avail. Most times, she wouldn't talk to me for two days until I apologize for what she did. Even at that, it would take her like a day to accept my apologies. I know that most of you would say it's odd for a man to apologise for what he is not quilty of.
I got the shock of my life when she asked me if I can remember her asking me to apologize to her. This was after she did something nasty.
This is the same lady I hope to perform her marital rite soon. I'm somewhat in my late twenties. I really love children and I hope to start a family in my young days so that they can grow with me. I think my love for kids is out of this world but she is likely gonna make me change my mind about that.
I wanna quit and go search for love elsewhere but I feel she deserves another chance.. Actually I'm lost and can't figure out why she is acting up.
What do I do? Has anyone here ever been in this shoe before and how did they deal with it?

Brother, you need to man up. The lady in question seems to have a false sense of superiority against you. But in my humble and honest opinion, I think it is your fault. You must have acted as if you so much need her and you have always tried to impress and please her that she now sees herself as being indispensable. While it is not bad to "need" her, it should be both ways. I understand that a man should show love to his woman, but I have learned from experience that a man who tries to superfluously please a lady will live to regret it. You are giving her the impression that your destiny depends so much on her, that you can't do without her. While you should show her love and care, never, never behave like someone whose life and destiny depends on her. Such attitude makes some girls to develop a scintilla of pomposity. The funny thing about some of the girls who develop these magisterial disposition is that, they are girls who actually have nothing much to contribute to the relationship or add to the man's life. For example, in my own case, the girl was so poor that even if her father in her village had just headache, they needed to contact me before they could get money to buy ordinary paracetamol, and I am serious. Yet, this girl was developing a false sense of importance and indispensability. Sex is not a value, so never let a woman feel overly important just because she has a virgina. Sir, her body and her virgina will never determine how great your life or destiny will be, so don't be timid to jettison a lady who deserved to be jettisoned. You have seen the bad signs and attitude, yet you are reluctant to do the needful. This, I guess has also contributed to the girl's sense of indispensability. I know it is not easy, but sir, you need to take courage and be decisive.

The President has the power to appoint anyone he deems fit, irrelivant of whether the person is with the DSS or not. However, Daura was in the DSS but was removed during Jonathan's administration. When Buhari came in, he was re-instated and appointed the Director.

I doubt that. My close friend did his youth service in Jigawa state when Lamido was governor. My friend won the best corper award in Jigawa state that year. In Jigawa state, there is a prize given to the best corper in the form of money and some other packages. My friend was presented to the governor by the NYSC in Jigawa. This happened in 2013. They refuse to give my friend who is a Christian his prize for being the best corper that year. Those who won it before him were Muslims and they all got their entitlements. We monitored subsequent awards after my friend's own and the winners have been Muslims and they all got their entitlements. But as for my friend, they have refused to give him his entitlements. Sule Lamido only signed the certificate acknowledging him as the best corper in Jigawa state that year. We have interpreted this as a discrimination against my friend because he is "kafiri". I will create a thread on this issue later. I will also provide photos in the thread.

According to the report I got from a friend who stays close to where it happened, the Robbers were robbing a couple of of houses from the pastor's when the gate man who thought they were Vigilante group told the Pastors that Vigilante guys are around because the pastor normally goes to give the guys pocket money whenever the come around. The only thing I can say is that you shouldn't feel guilty. If the story isn't different from the way you narrated it, it isn't your fault. You also need to be security conscious, both physically and spiritually. Pastors of such churches are not trustworthy.

I agree with you that Atiku might be able to dislodge APC. However, as regards Saraki, you are wrong sir. In a country where we have millions in the north who vote along ethno-religious lines, Saraki can't defeat Buhari who is a full-fledged Muslim Northerner. Though Saraki is from a state that is regarded as a Northern state, the reality is that Saraki is a Yoruba man, and millions of voters in the North are conscious of this fact. In fact, some northerners secretly regard Yoruba Muslims like Saraki as infidels because of their liberal views. Someone like Saraki can only win states which Jonathan won in 2015, and unfortunately, that won't be enough

I am a Christian and I don't see anything wrong if a lady decides to use hijab so long as it is not used for evil. However, I am opposed to trying to defend an idea by wrongly referring to Bible verses and claiming that wearing hijab is a Biblical injuction just because you want to defend an Islamic tenet. There is no any "injuction" that women must use hijab in the two the two Biblical verses you mentioned. You can defend the use of hijab, there is no crime or sin in doing that. But trying to claim that those two verses are an "injuction" that women must wear hijab is a slanted argument.

This is not to befoul or tarnish the image of CSP Gana, the new Commander of SARS in Lagos.

I know the new commander of Lagos SARS very well. His full name is CSP Peter Gana, and he is from Niger state. He served in Abuja as the OC operation of the IGP Special Tactical Squad (STS). He served under the Commander of IGP Special Tactical Squad (STS), ACP Yusuf Kolo. It might interest you to know that the new Lagos SARS boss, his Commander of SARS in Abuja under whom he served, and the Inspector General of Police are all from Nigeria state.

According to the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force Zone 2 Command, Mrs Dolapo Badmos, CSP Gana's appointment as the new SARS commander in Lagos is to stem Police brutality in Lagos. I laughed when I read that line. Appointing someone like CSP Gana "to stem SARS brutality" can be likened to using a lion to protect a cow-shed in order to prevent a fox from attacking. I can authoritatively say that lots of the torture you hear that SARS metes out on detainees at its mass incarceration facility in Abuja were due to CSP Gana's orders. He looks cool and gentle. He doesn't shout at all, but he knows how to order the torture and extrajudicial killings of youths who are in the custody of SARS in Abuja.

CSP Gana, despite being an officer, ordered the inhuman torture and brutality of SARS detainees in Abuja. I personally witnessed where CSP Gana threatened a suspect that he would order his men to stone him to death unless he (the detainee), admit to the accusation levelled against him. He also directed an operative to prepare what he called "mortuary papers" of someone who was accused of Nokia phone theft, in preparation for his extrajudicial killing. However, I must admit that he later cancelled the plan.

There was the case of land dispute between two families in Lagos. One family was rich and influential. The rich and influential family had connections with Gana, and despite the fact that CSP Gana was serving in Abuja, the rich family used Gana to arrest members of the other family. They were detained for months and tortured. One of them later confided in me that Gana forced them at gun point to sign an undertaking forfeiting the land to the rich family and asked them to contribute N10,000,000 for him before he would release them. This family had to loan money in order to be able to meet CSP Gana’s N10,000,000 demand. Presently, members of that family are still in serious debt due to Gana’s N10,000,000 extortion.

He used his office as the OC operations of SARS in Abuja to enrich himself. I can only imagine how much he is going to use his position as the new SARS commander in Lagos to enrich himself. He drives a White Toyota Venza 2017, and also has other exotic cars. He detains youths at SARS mass incarceration facility in Abuja under inhuman conditions for years without charging them to court for any offence. He has ordered the extrajudicial killings of some detainees at SARS facility in Abuja. He once bragged that he knew how to batter suspects to make make them admit that they are guilty.

There are lots of accounts of brutality from CSP Gana but space and time won’t permit me to outline them here. With malice towards none, with charity for all, I would like to say that an embodiment of torture and brutality like Gana is not the right person to put in charge of SARS at a time SARS brutality is at its peak. Lots of youths of all tribes and religion in Nigeria died on daily basis at SARS mass incarceration facility in Abuja under CSP Gana. My prayer is that God help Lagosians as a torturerer like CSP Gana takes charge of SARS in Lagos.
