U threaten license forfeiture to banks, a private sector organization whose activities amongst other things must be profit driven, but here we are the same govt DAT should have provided a fall back platform to her citizenry in case of such eventuality threatening not just sack but mass sack in a pensionable/career jobs. We've always been pro true federalism and resource control because it is indeed a panacea to the myriad of problems buffeting our nascent democracy/economy since independence. Let the FG control the Army, protecting our sovereignty, while the economy is principally controlled by the states. That is what we have always wanted. But what we would always be against is some group of persons trying to blackmail/intimidate the FG into doing their bidding regardless of its propriety.

When people like Atiku start making statements like this, I tend to get very suspicious because he's occupied such position as to have greatly influenced the FG into taking serious steps towards the realisation of this lofty aspiration- what stopped him from doing so back then?? Would he do the same if he becomes the president tomorrow?? Hell, is this statement meant to warm him up to some people given that PDP has zoned their party's ticket to the North?? Is he being truly altruistic or cunning??

Its obvious some people do not know d true meaning of achievement if not how could someone call normal administrative routines or directives as achievement. The word achievement means something accomplished especially by superior ability (emphasis accomplished), special effort or a form of great or heroic deeds. Work in progress is not yet an achievement until it accomplishes d reason while it was set up in d first place. For example, achievement under corruption wud be when there are convictions, d fight not one sided, recovered loots channeled to improve quality of life of d citizenry and d average Nigerian mindset reconfigured to denounce corruptible acts. Achievement under Power can only be said to v been accomplished if there is improvement in d availability of light in our homes and by extension reduce our fuel-for-light burden. On security of our waterways which d report recorded as tremendous, it cant be one when our output is daily decreasing.
