3rdlegxxx:Tnks man. Pls let me know where d typing wasnt properly done cos I v just read through but cant see any. |
How Buhari all of a sudden appear to have lost d goodwill dat brought him into Power will make a good topic for History students dat power is ephemeral and it takes good leadership to maintain it. U refused to watch a video by Aljazeera tv when innocent and unarmed protesters were killed by ur Army cos they belong to 5% category but swift to tweet for terrorist act within hrs in far away Belgium. The world has already known u as not have feeling for d dead. |
Honestly most of these candidates of Apc cud hsve had a better outing in this rerun if not for d garrulous and loquacious character of Amaechi. Prior to 2015 election, most Phc ppl knew Wike as just a wicked and highly ocultic personality but had to settle for him cos he was d only formidable counter-force against Amaechi. Fortunately for Wike, he quickly went into delivering democratic dividends to d populace on assumption of office such dat his personal cum moral status was of no significant again. |
If in all this defence, mention was not made of d cbn illegal recruitment then Emefiele too is ur paymaster. |
lawydewy:Inec can only conduct a conclusive elections provided u allow d Apc candidates to be d winners or where oil is not involved. Inconclusiveness in Inec comes to d fore when free n Fair elections are involved or when other parties are coasting to victory. All those instances u mentioned are Apc strongholds even though u know Kogi was part of d inconclusive baby |
MadCow1:unfortunately he was even an orphan. Too bad for his siblings |
Good commentary just correct d date to March 19 not 26th. |
ziccoit:Returned means d candidate was d previous occupier b4 court annulment (same as reelected) where as elected means a first timer. |
Lets choose btw Inconclusive National Electoral Commission and Inconclusive Nigeria Electoral Commission |
Great writeup but trust NL youths no comment for over 2hrs of posting this topic but if it is one junk info u ll see rush. |
Still making promises |
How come d Nation has reduced itself to this level of junk journalism. So many loopholes in d Apc account as d Pdp version appears a lot more convincing. I even fear for d life of dat Inec collation officer as those she feels she was working for dat whisked her away from d Police station might end up murdering her to cover any evidence of finding out d truth. Trust politicians at ur own peril. |
kropotkin2:who are d we?. The moment d State cant come up with witnesses at nxt hearing, d case is over or else they appeal |
Morountodun:That is why they are in court and not on d streets. Forward d relevant section of d law books supporting anonymous testimony on a case of treason. If d state want also they can appeal d ruling by d judge against bringing masquerades as witness in his court rather than d FG arguing dat d case be adjourned till such a time Kanu's accusers will be allowed to testify behind cameras. It is simple, bring ur witnesses in d open court to meet eyeball to eyeball with d suspects or appeal d verdict at this point. D beauty of it all is dat Mr Kanu understands all these mind games and has told d world he is not in a hurry provided in d end d truth prevails. |
britbuz:Yea!!!. It is cos of scholars like u dat commenting here makes so much sense. Tnks for appreciating cos not so many even understand 'why d attire'. The white attire of d suspects and d celestial order call by d judge cant just be a happenstance. |
Waoh. I was about reasoning in this direction until I saw this thread. Yea!!!. The witnesses have no right to withhold evidence dat is needed to nail someone against d state. Lol. In fact d lawyer must build his case around this argument and Nnamdi Kalu is out faster than imagined. This is why Kanu believes d country is a zoo if all they hoped for was for masquerades to come testify against d accused. |
flokii:pls dont go on d area of sabi book or no sabi book. Not everybody must comment on threads where only ppl of high I.Q are expected. This is why Nig govt is embarrassing herself. Kanu and Kalu are purely interchangeable and mean exactly same. Ohaneze means nothing to a sincere supporter of Kanu |
I cant believe our DSS are this low in I.Q. So all d razzmatazz pertaining to this Kalu case was built upon bringing in masked witnesses to come testify against d accused and d moment dat line of argument failed no more backup strategy. I am not a lawyer nor an investigator but I can proudly boast I cud v handled it better. D Kalu drama has actually exposed d poor sense of judgement of our leaders and should ordinarily be a course of concern for every Nig youth but unfortunately tribe and religious cum political leanings will still make us see leaders of tomorrow who will still come here and try defending d indefensible. How can d state prosecutor argue in d line of forceful abduction of Kalu by his supporters when it is a well known fact dat Kalu supporters are peaceful and do not even carry stick nor dagger let alone guns. I now believe u need 1000 lies to cover one lie told. |
The FG started with psychological warfare against Mr Kalu but Mr Kalu, a student of contemporary History knows too well dat all it takes to turn the tide against d state is to be patient and never make the state feel u value even ur own life as far as ur struggle was concerned. His pregnant wife , d nxt in line, was also unruffled as she told d world d husband remains a prisoner of conscience. His father, a Royal Majesty said he was ready to relinquish his throne for his son's support. His supporters remained peaceful without taking laws into dia hands despite obvious provocation. D climax was that with all d incarceration and detention, Radio 'Byaphra' is still airing live even now on apps and on radio so d case remained topical and evergreen daily. I pity d DSS cos d moment they lost d bid to present masquerades to testify was when d case was won and lost. Threatening the accused lawyer is d pinnacle of frustration but unfortunately they brought it upon themselves. |
NgeneUkwenu:After first booking a space for over thirty minutes and this Rev King saga is all u can bring up to derail this thread then u are not better than these Daura Secret Service (DSS) agents who had months to build solid case against Mr Kalu but only ended up with handwritten doc. If u are proud of d state prosecutors in this case then u v poor sense of judgment cos am sure even d DSS will be personally ashamed at d turn of events. |
Ekehwinz:Yea. Cos d hunter has become d hunted. Nnamdi Kalu is telling d state pls am ready for trial of treason you preferred against me and d State now foot dragging. The moment d state lost request to present masquerades to testify was when they lost any chance. |
Naija9090:My brother am seriously surprised too dat this is d best d State can offer in this episode. Really, If I were to be d judge, I will give my verdict right away or step down immediately. Threaten to kill accused lawyer!!!! This is yet another embarrassment |
Honestly I v personally learnt a lot from this unfolding case that what it actually takes to be alive is to look at ur enemy eyeball to eyeball and make him understand u are ready to die than to live d life of cowards. Mr Kalu u v really shown d world dat d Nig govt knows d truth dat under an ideal trial they can not build a strong case against ur agitation and this account for d seeming frustration on d side of d state agents. Imagine d frustration on d side of d judge too who is even subscribing to d celestial orders i.e d spritual heavenly bodies of which God Almighty and His Angels are in charge for adjudication. U now see why Mr Kalu has always told all dat he was actually on this mission cos Chukwu Okike Abiama (God of creation) sent him. The judge has inadvertently admitted dat any fight against this course is directly a fight against d celestial bodies. Cant fail to observe d articulate composure on d side of these three wise men from d East and d well tailored white (a celestial colour) dressing. Nnamdi must have lectured them wella himself being a student of contemporary History. Congrats in advance. |
I will advise any one dat sincerely believe in this country to take out time and listen to this 26+ minutes interview b4 commenting. It is a pity dat d President fails to realise he was being interviewed by a very intelligent mod on a global tv station. This is d first interview dat I v seen someone looking our ruler eyeball to eyeball and asking those frank questions dat touch on d fabrics of our corporate existence as a country but if u ask me I must be honest dat d President answered below par from economy to security to foreign policy to Biafra renewed agitation et al. Why I expect backlashes as usual but pls do ensure u spare some mb to watch this epic documentary first. |
ayatt:dia is already from Ebonyi to Kaduna i.e the Ndubuisi Nicodemus case. |
Dino Milaye is an Ipob tout |
From all d inputs above mine it appears most Nigerians are actually more intelligent than I had hitherto thought. Mr Lai has just justified dt d reason d govt do more of media propaganda trials of those accused of corruption is actually to set them up (the accused) against us (the people). Truth is d people see corruption fight as a means to an end whereas d govt thinks their anti corruption drama is an end in itself. People expect dat by fighting corruption that their lives will be bettered, economy improved, infrastructure built, employment created and quality cum quantity of life increased thru watertight security but alas d reverse is what they are getting. When most of us here were shouting dat d President shot himself on d foot by appointing d same corrupt elements into his cabinet after 6mnths and only arresting corrupt opposition members; we were termed wailers and dat body language will wipe them into line. U mentioned 55 people stealing trillions but refused to divulge their names probably cos its a lie or some names on d list are pro-govt. I pray d whole frustration do not get out of d hand cos d honeymoon is over. I want d fight to succeed but we expect convictions, we expect an all-inclusive/ non-selective approach, we expect it to be done devoid of impunity and within d rule of law. On a personal note, Mr Lai tell d Govt dat life is more spiritual than physical as d former controls d later. D fight d govt took against Nnamdi Kalu and joining his case alongside those on corruption is making d spiritual hemisphere angry and ever since the center can not hold. Remember dat Mr Wole Soyinka had once declared dat By*fra is a spirit and can not be defeated. Something tells me dat even d Yoruba/Hausa-Fulani trouble drew its root from this too. Wedding is over, honeymoon over but let's pray the marriage can be managed but for how long?. Time will tell. |
kuuljay:It makes me feel bad how come we v degenerated to this level on this forum wia all ppl comment is wailer n zombie. Ppl wail when they feel d govt policies are anti-people or their anti-corruption fight against a select group. Any anti corruption fight dat will be beamed across all divides be it political, religious or tribal will definitely receive d support of all and sundry. It might surprise u dat both d Apc n Pdp will equally have a fair share of dia spoils in this judiciary probe if carried out in sincere manner. I am a wailer; Yes, but I wail for an egalitarian society. |
If true and carried out holistically without shielding some pro-govt judges nor persecuting d perceived anti-govt judges; then this will go on to become a great milestone in Buhari's administration. I totally lend my support though all must be watchful to avoid it turning into an opportunity for d govt to intimidate and gag d judiciary. I v always said it dat with d introduction of d BVN , corruption cud become a thing of d past gradually if well implemented. |
My mind is a mess that I cant escape |
The Nation Newspaper and d South 'Waste' gutter journalism !!!. Gentleman to the 'call' instead of gentleman to the 'core' or rather add (sic) if u wanted to quote verbatim. |
