i have o.. the hospital said is standard for all .....got this feed back from the hospital on the discount """"The statement format is default for all our patient accounts statements. And the request to remove the discount is not something we will do for anyone. This is a valid statement given to you. You were provided with a cash discount price sheet from your doctor as well as OakBnd , you can provide the embassy with a copy of that letter/form. To explain the cash price discount that was given to you. Springdance: Twoods is right. My advice is let your honesty shine through. If any document is requested and you have it, I believe it’s better to show it and explain the discount. You can also call the hospital to explain the discount to you, so you can be better prepared. |

Thanks alot TWood . the hospital said is standard for all .....got this feed back from the hospital on the discount """"The statement format is default for all our patient accounts statements. To explain the cash price discount that was given to you. i taya ... just like u said ,,,lets hope for the best TWoods: 1. You can go with your baby. Not a problem 2. Sex of the VO does not matter, you won't be able to select either way. 3. If you indicated that you were residents on the BC of your child, there is nothing you can do at this point. 4. The large "discount" will likely attract some scrutiny. That was a rather large amount and will raise suspicions.
All the same, you have no choice but to go for the interview and hope for the best. |

Big congrats to you...not easy!!!!please need info on d accomodation. ajiedeko: In the spirit of giving back, here's my testimony:
Firstly, I wish to thank everyone for their contributions to this thread. The information I gathered here was so helpful. God bless you.
I left Nigeria with my hubby on June 4 via Airfrance from Abuja to Dallas at 34 weeks. I was asked to get fit to fly from port health despite the fact that I had one from my doctor.
The trip was very okay though the seats were not so spacious. I requested for wheel chair which I used both in Paris and Atlanta. I was particularly happy I did cos it helped a lot. The distance from the flight to the connecting wing in Paris was looooong.
Got to Atlanta and again was able to jump the long queue due to wheel chair usage. The CBP after getting all details sent us for secondary inspection. Was scared we might miss our connecting flight to Dallas cos we had about 45 mins to departure. Waited about 30 minutes and were finally called. I kept praying for God to take control. The 2nd CBP asked for doctor's correspondence, address o where we'll b staying and the amount we had. Then he stamped us in for 6 months. Sent us to another officer to count our cash. We were not sent to agriculture though I had dry fish, ground Egusi and ogbono, pepper, crayfish, knorr cubes. At this time, the departure time for the flight to Dallas had passed but kept praying that God should take control and He did. Apparently the flight was ready for take off but the ACs were not working. So the passengers had to disembark. That was how we were able to meet up.
Got to Dallas by 6.30pm and did a 5 hr road trip to Houston. Got to Houston by 12 am.
Gave birth last Friday. Used Dr. F and CHI st. Luke's hospital, Sugarland. Dr. F is so amazing.
Chilling with my baby and waiting for BC so I can start processing other docs.
Fees paid so far:
Docs fee - 2500 for CS 1st visit + scan - 300 Hosp fee - 3700 Epidural - 1300
My host is a NL mum. Lives in houston with her family. Got a room at a very affordable rate. She has been sooooo amazing. Just like staying with a sister. She helped arrange the cab that picked me from the airport and has been so helpful in terms of transportation and shopping. I'm feeling so much at home.
Once again, thanks to everyone. Wish all waiting mamas safe delivery.
Sorry for d long post, had to summarize d best way possible. |

Thank you all for sharing all the wealthy informations. Please I need some clarifications. I am still preparing my documents fr embassy, I intend to use Dr. F and I have written him and he replied wt the bills for his services and wen I asked if dt was what I needed for embassy as letter of medical responsibility, i was told yes. Please can someone assist in confirming if they have used this before. Secondly he also sent bills for the hospitals he s affiliated to stating that the choice of hospital is mine to make, now when I decide on the hospital to use as he said do I need to write the hospital as well before going to the embassy? Do I need a letter from them as well?
|

[nice one please where. Can I buy the spoon.quote author=firsttymum post=47040822]I'm recommending a hot food safe spoon while we shop for our babies... Yer Yer for those who will say it's not for this thread. Most people have looked for it in naija and can't find. So I said lemme share here make una buy.
So I bought this nuby spoon for my baby during my last missionary journey. People call it magic spoon. When I'm feeding my baby it fascinates people... When d food is too hot it turns white when's it's warm but not good enough for his mouth is turns pale ( depends on d colour of d spoon) and so on. So I recommend it especially for workaholics or shld I say busy mums and or hygiene freaks like me ( covers face) At least the helper knows the spoon shldnt change color too much before putting that food in d baby's mouth.
I'm a hygiene freak. I don't support the Househelp putting d food in her mouth before giving my baby or any of those disgusting things. I personally and even my hubby can't chew and give our baby... It disgusts me ( most of us put our mouth down there during daddy and mummy tingy) the thing just irritates me jare.
|

blank: @jlo4ever, don't make the mistake of putting your total savings amount as monthly income drone investments. They are asking of how much interest accrues to you on a monthly basis from your savings. They want to be able to analyze your bank statement appropriately.
As for treasury bills, put the difference between the face value and value at maturity divided by the number of months you held it. Then explain in the additional info that it is a treasury bill and you will receive it at maturity. Include your treasury bill certificate. Remember that the treasury bill will not be part of amount available to you for your trip except if it will have matured before the trip. Good day Justwise and blank.
