Good morning and happy Sunday brethren. If you're a traveler in Nigeria, you'll observe that at every motor park ,there is one or more preacher(s) sharing the word doc God with the passengers. Most of them does this with the sole aim of making money why some are doing it for true evangelism. My question now is that is it right to solicit for money during evangelism in a motor park? Your contributions will go a long way |

It's been 2weeks + since we've started our impromptu holiday and you need to remember that Offices are closed down, shops are locked up,the road is deserted and many now works from home. It's no longer a news that many companies will lay off as many as possible staff after this pandemic. Many are still using their days wisely, guess what? Many have not recorded any single thing they've achieved during this lockdown. The fact is that many has acquired a lot of thing why many will not acquire anything except watching movies, playing games ,social media and so on. Question ravaging the head of many of us includes, How do I make my day productive? This article will give you some tips to make your days more productive than before To the main (1)Set your goal Set goals for the things you'll like to achieve each day. When writing out your goals ,it's important you make them as short as possible. The best is always 3-5goals per day. Anything more than that will make anxiety grip in . (2)Draft a timetable for yourself It's sounds so funny right? It should because it's awkward to many but that's just the fact. ✓Design a timetable of your activities for the day. ✓Make it simple and easy to follow. ✓Split it by morning, afternoon and evening. ✓Set out time and duration for each activity Note •√Make your goals as short as possible..I'll advise you make it maximum of 4 per day √Avoid distractions because they'll definitely come. (3)Set an alarm for each activity Let's take for instance you have four activities for the day,e.g work, reading, learning piano and playing games . If each of them will last for 2hrs each, and you're starting by 8am. Set your reminder for 8am,10am,12pm and 2pm. The essence of this is that it awaken your consciousness. (4)Don't start your day with your phone I've observed that each time I woke up with my phone on my hand,I achieve less. This point is very important and should be taken serious except your productivity lies on your phone. The major source of distraction in this 20th century is our smartphones. Notifications from mails, social media, sms and even phone calls distract us alot. According to research by Éilish Duke (2017) entitled "Phone addiction" ,he concluded that "smartphone addiction reduces productivity both at home and at work" I'll advice you silent all your notifications or if possible, put your phone on an airplane mode. (5)Take time to rest According to the normal saying, all works without play makes jack a dull boy. Make sure you fix in some time to relax yourself .Take a rest,a little nap, gist with family or anything that will make you a bit relaxed. (6) Access yourself When I was in secondary school, there was this statement written on our class wall ,it reads "What have I achieved today?" This statement shapen me a lot. Make sure you think of this statement each day before you retire to your bed. Flashback and think of what you've done for the day. Access yourself wether you've added value in one way or the other to yourself. In conclusion, try to repeat these steps everyday and you'll get use to them |

The Nigeria custom service has finally yielded to the public advice on siezed good. Since the emergence of covid19 in Nigeria, many people have been of the opinion that the Nigeria government should give the NCS order to share goods seized. In a statement released by the Nigeria custom service on their Facebook, the goods will be released to the public owing the the federal government order.. This is what they wrote on their Facebook # PRESS STATEMENT The outbreak of the deadly Corona Virus (Covid-19) necessitated various and continuous actions by Government at different levels to prevent/stop the spread of the virus in Nigeria. 1. Rice 46,000 metric tons (158 trailers) 2. Vegetable oil (251) 36,495kegs (30 trucks) 3. Palm oil 3,428 kegs (1 truck) 4. Tomatoes paste 136,705 cartons (54 trucks) 5. Spaghetti/Noodles 2,951ctns & 1,253pkts (2trucks) 6. Wrappers (Ankara) 828 bales (ltruck) 7. Lace fabric 2,300 Rolls (1 truck) Reacting to pains associated with the effects of the lockdown in some parts of the Country, some Nigerians have taken to the social media to call on Nigeria Customs Service to share seized rice and other edible items to members of the public. While some of these calls appear well intended, others had attempted to create the impression that Customs Officers have the liberty to use seized items as they deem fit. Some even mischievously impugned that the items may have already been shared to cronies. Nothing can be further from the truth. It is therefore necessary to explain that in line with the provision of section 167 (2) of CEMA CAP C45 LFN 2004, seized items upon condemnation and forfeiture to the Federal Government by a competent court of jurisdiction are kept in government warehouses pending Government directive on its disposal. Accordingly, in compliance with the Presidential directive, the ComptrollerGeneral of Customs, Col, Hameed Ali (Rtd) has already approved the release of the following relief items to boost the Federal Government continuous efforts to alleviate sufferings associated with the painful but necessary ongoing lockdown in some parts of the Country. The items include: Estimated market value of these items is, Three Billion, two Hundred and Fifty One Million, Eight Hundred and Six Thousand with Duty Paid Value of It should be noted that only edible items certified fit for human consumption by NAFDAC will be released to the public. As a responsible agency of Government, NCS appreciates the opportunity of contributing its quota to Federal Government's continuous efforts to provide relief for Nigerians in this difficult time. NCS remains committed to strictly adhering to all extant laws governing seized and overtime cargoes. Despite the prevailing risks, the Service will continue to discharge its functions of securing the land borders and collection of revenue that is needed during and post Covid- 19 pandemic period. While urging the officers and men to remain focused on Service delivery, the CGC reminds the operatives and all Nigerians on the need to obey all directives of Government and medical experts to stop the spread of the deadly virus. The Federal Government has commenced the disbursement of N20,000 Conditional Cash Transfer to indigent households (poor) at the Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. This is part of the Federal Government’s efforts to help reduce the effect of President Muhammadu’s lockdown order following the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadia Umar-Farouk, said on Wednesday while kickstarting the disbursement that due to the scourge of COVID-19, the Federal Government is giving out N20,000 per person for the next four months starting from March 2020. She explained that the President during his broadcast last week directed that the Conditional Cash Transfer should be given in advance of two months. “We have directed immediate cash transfer to the poorest and most vulnerable households in the country,” she said. “Because of this COVID-19, the vulnerable groups have to expand, because we are aware that there are people who live on daily wage, so we are also going to look at those groups of people to see how we can get this food relief intervention to them in this period.” See Photos Below:
