Osimhen was average at best. Stop making excuses for a bad tournament for Osimhen. What happened to all the chances he failed to convert during the competition?

Na people like una Dey come online dey troll other players like Ronaldo when dey lose too..
Lmaoooo.... You still have a way to sneak in Ronaldo ontop wetin no concern am grin

I ask you, how many big chances did he miss during the knockouts when it mattered most?

I'm sure you guys would have claimed he tried if he did like Nsue— scoring 5 goals in group stage yet missed all their big chances in knockouts that eventually eliminated them in the first round

That you praise him before doesn't give you the right to criticize him even when he's right.

Praise him when he does right and critique him when he does wrong, simple!!

This your "you praise him, you dey praise him" doesn't exonerate the wrong criticism you were doing to him this morning

I should not criticize osimhen because of what exactly ? Lmao

He scored 1 goal for your info

He missed the most chances this afcon grin

You are the one with the typical Nigerian mentality where your favorite player can do no wrong in your eyes

Osimhen isn’t our top 3 performers at this afcon though
I asked you, how many correct chances did he miss during the knockouts (where it mattered most)

When we're always attacked and he's isolated upfront feeding on scraps, why won't defenders/keepers be among the top 3 performers?

Exclude the 3 man defence top performers (Ekong, Nwabali and Calvin).

Let me hear your top three performers aside those 3?

If people dey drag Aina and iwobi, what any normal football fan would do is to defend them but typical Nigerian mentality, you have to drag one of the best performers just because one of your fave (Aina) was rightfully dragged ystdy.

Some Nigerians are just annoying.

How can you even watch the match and begin to scapegoat Iwobi? The coach relinquished the midfield to Ivory Coast with the way he set up the team. There's no active midfielder of Nigerian decent that's eligible for Nigeria at this very moment that's a better passer than Alex Iwobi at the moment.

Someone that thrives in a 3 man midfield, now has to play in a 2 man midfield and as a DLP. Blame the coach and the ghost called Osimhen.
Una go watch ball, see as Osimhen is always isolated upfront, no support no nothing (that's aside being double marked) due to our defensive minded formation, yet he still try to work it out for himself.

Yet you call him ghost.... Lmaooo.

Jorginho 🇮🇹 obtained his UEFA B coaching license 🪪 after having notably coached the Arsenal U14s! Holders of such a license can coach amateur clubs, youth teams up to 16 years old and be assistants to professional clubs.👔

what's he gonna teach them? how to play back passes?
He's played more forward passes in arsenal than he's played in Chelsea. Heck, he even won motm against Liverpool a top team in a 433 formation, something most of you here criticized him for that he can't do.

Maybe you should check your Chelsea instead of pointing fingers at ex players undecided

There is a reason I always advice fans to learn more about the business side of Arsenal. Speaking of FFP, there are 2 versions of the FFP we are regulated by. 1 is by the EPL and the other is by UEFA. A difference between both is the total amount of losses allowed, EPL allows 105M over 3 years while UEFA allows 77M over the same period.

How much have we spent over the last 3 years in transfers? How much is our pre-tax loss during the time span? How much revenue did we bring in from different streams? Each stream (including player sales) has restrictions and legislations that guide them and how they can be used to balance FFP.

This past summer, we spent over 200M, are we projecting a profit pre-tax this year? Now, consider our transfers over the last 2 years, the amount, did we declare a loss in each of the last 2 years? If we did, how much? If we did not, how much profit did we declare and how much of it counts into transfers we made during that period? This is because only a certain percentage can be used under FFP rules.

There is a lot that goes into it and that is why when all the noise of Toney and others was going on, I predicted that Arsenal will not sign anyone in January and I was right. Anything you read about January were mere rumors because Arsenal understands we have to wait things out to see where we end financially by the summer.

This is why it is even more imperative that we advance into the latter stages of the UCL and continue to increase our revenue from that stream. Top 4 is looking promising in the worst case scenario, that means we are back in Europe next year. Arsenal will spend in the Summer but I can assure you it is going to be careful and well guided.
Wowwwwww.... This is quite insightful and educating. Thank you.

Actually I never knew that uefa and EPL have their own ffp loss limit. But mehhhnnnn, for the past 3 yrs, I guess we might have fell foul on the £105m loss limit.

There's a reason I didn't believe any news going round. For some reasons, I have like a good instinct to detect valid transfer news from rumors and Toney's deal all through was just giving me that rumor mills vibe. It's as if they(media) were just forcing him down on us because they know we need a striker. Right from beginning and with the way January was going, I doubted we even had anything serious for anybody. It was just dead silent and it proved to be so.

Thanks once again for the insightfully post

It is not. The deal for Toney didn't start this January. Both Raya and Toney's deal were worked on in the summer. Unfortunately, we could only settle for loan due to FFP. So the plan was to let Partey go this January, make Raya's deal permanent and get Toney on loan. Unfortunately, Partey got injured at the last moment. Toney himself has been dropping some hints during his ban.
If really we agreed to get Toney on loan, why didn't we get him. I mean, you yourself told me we still have allowable 100m to spend In this ffp matter, so with or without Partey, we would still have gotten Toney (even if it's on loan).

Abi no be so? undecided

I attended primary school in an area that’s not even considered urban in Lagos state yet almost all the kids came to school with snacks . Those who don’t come with snacks either come with cash to buy during break time or beg from others .

My parents do not believe in handing a minor cash for whatever reason , so we go to school with our own snack from home coupled with lunch . To me that’s not in any way luxury . Even when I serve for a federal government owned boarding secondary school , the students there could still afford snacks like fish roll, egg roll, wara and the likes despite having their lunch covered by their boarding fees .

So I find it strange that u see snacking as luxury .

As regards Smart TV , I still don’t understand why u see it as luxury sha . In fact I see it as if u are saying using a Windows 10 PC is luxury in 2024 when there’s windows 7 or Windows XP.
