No rashford got the ball outside the box18
By then white is already tracking back instead of standing his ground don't forget saliba is at his back
Laslas rashford will wait for reinforcement
It was a through ball. Normally White have to backtrack a bit to gain his balance. If he had stood his ground, Rashford would have passed him and it would have been one on one with GK.

Make thunder faya Arteta if he ever bench Gabu again. Zinny absence or not.

Shebi Tomi no still play with Gabu when Zinny was off? Didn't Tomi still play the Inverted role ystdy?

Shala to gabu his partnership with saliba continue to blossom
No one is blaming white for tracking back for rashford goal harvetz na scapegoat but white fvck up
He had saliba at his back and saliba was trying not to block ramsdale view
White should have close down rashford in my opinion
It in the 18yard box so White needed to execute caution.

Also, I think Rashford was smart with that goal. He first faked a shot thereby disbalancing both White and Saliba, giving himself that extra space and time to unleash that bomb.

Las las, na still Havertz caused that goal.
Immediately that ball was laid through by Eriksen, I already told my brother that's a goal.

That area na Rashford specialty cos he hardly miss from there in that situation

We conceded through his error
We should be leading if he remembers how to shoot
All in all it won't be hard like this if he wasn't playing we saw it toward the end
True.
Na Havertz matter just dey cause all these problems

I won't be surprised if stat prop up about him winning most duels, most aerial balls, good off the ball runs and the likes.

First time I really enjoyed Arsenal match this season and it's not even at premium level yet

Debatable.

The only GK I know who has a wrist strong enough to prevent that goal is VDS. De Gea might keep it out, but there are other similar goals he's failed to keep out.
Valid points too

No it's not
We already agreed no excuses this season but our coach is making one by forcing kaikai on us
Without kaikai we will beat man u like 4 without conceding
True but Kai was out and we were still playing 1-1 and it's not as if we have less than 5min to play. Any more goal from us and we'll win the game

If we were losing maybe I would have understood.

Maguire's foot also deflected the second goal.
Looking at that pace of the ball and the closeness to the side goal, there's high tendency De Gea would save that, deflection or not(barring his head touching)

The rules changed. Now a player can point to a space in front of him and will not be offside, as long as his legs are on.
Did you look at that picture well?

Garnacho's leg was certainly onside, it was his body abi armpit that they claimed was off.

Also, it was Gabriel's head that was used in measuring the offside. Just try and look at the pic well and the offside marker of the respective players

That quick transition is what we miss from Ahvertz side of the pitch each time he has the ball. The guy dey just dey give Pepe vibes.
I personally knew how many attacks Havertz killed ystdy because he was uninterested in moving the ball in attacking area.

It's no surprise the first big chances we carved open by ourselves (which Saka missed) was when Havertz was out.

Maybe what he's saying every part of the body is now accountable for offside
Tbh, all those new rules that concerns players are not even been executed this season. It's only the ones that concerns ref.

If the new offside rule was in place, then Garnacho certainly won't be offside. And also Van dijk certainly won't have collected red card last week.

Na just the stupid new rules of coach or players complaining or time wasting you'll see ref obey that one and start brandishing yellow card anyhow

Unpopular Opinion, The 1st 2 goals could have been kept out by a Quality goal keeper. Evans was foul in the buildup to the 2nd goal.
De Gea is never saving that first goal.

Nelson Appreciation post ! 🙏

Nelson won the ball in our own half and played the pass to Viera for that third goal. He used the few minutes he played for us really well
It was that quick pass both by Nelson and Viera that finished everything grin

Viera sha. That guy na real pass master for leg. He just needs to be strong on the ball and he'll be a very very good Midfielder for us. No wonder dem dey see am as one David Silva for colney grin

Garnacho was off. You are arguing because you are not intune with the new offside rule that was introduced just before season started.

Now offside is decided by the legs and not the entire body. That is why Gabriel slant position is considered a genius act.

Again, that Kai penalty should have stood because there was a second clip on his knee that the camera didn't pick and Taylor was too hasty to cancel his initial decision.
I didn't see this in the new offside rule tho.

And aside that, the screenshot shared by Oba.Igwe, they used his head to measure it.

The only thing Harvetz in his favour is time.
Pepe , Ceballos no flop like this.

Vieira is coming good.

We can give Harvetz time but he should not start hr should play from the bench...in lesser quality opposition
I don't think Ceballos was even a flop here. His first loan stint was good while his second was somehow mixed.

Special shout to Gabu!

His quick thinking made Genacho to be on offside position.

That was absolutely brilliant.

He also did well, marking that Holjlund.

The way Kai plays you can see he is mentally weak and lacks confidence. That penalty self, if it was another player, they won’t hesitate to try and score, but look at what happened, we missed the chance and missed the penalty opportunity.

I keep asking, why is Arteta lenient on Hervertz, but ruthless with Awilo and Pepe when all of them are in the same category?
Did any of them cost 65m?
What were suffering with Havertz under Arteta is exactly what Man u is suffering with Anthony under Ten Haag. Both must play their money and trust finish grin

But aside his performances, it's his weak mentality that's irking me. He's just shying away from all attacking midfielder responsibilities and looking for the safe and unambituous way

They compare him with Ozil in terms of demeanor but hardly you'll see Ozil shy away from responsibilities

I have said it here... Havertz should not be starting match but he should be allowed to come from the bench... Arteta is putting him under pressure... Cos he wants Harvez to blow at all cost.

See Rice, we don't need many explanation to know someone is good. If you are good we should see it within 2 to 4 matches. Rice deserve his price... But Havertz...
Absolutely...

When epistles and explanations and even analytical eyes is needed to know if a player is good, Just know for most part, he's not.

I just hope Arteta benches him but it seemed as if Arteta have sworn he'll never do such.
Me, I can partly live with that as long as we get our back 4 intact instead of seeing Gabu on the bench and Partey in RB. Last 3 Matches was just very very annoying for me.

Mikel Arteta on Kai Havertz: “I said to him yesterday: things are hard at the beginning. When I met my wife, at the beginning it was hard to conquer her. It was hard, I had to try and message her, and go, and go. And at the end when she says ‘yes we can be together’ it’s beautiful.”

Abeg, make nobody dey defend Havertz for here again biko.

Good 3 points today. I no wan talk too much. Happy for the win. Very good subs today by Arteta

Happy for that back 4. See how our Gabriel dey ball alongside Saliba. Our only weak link is just Havertz.

The last Arsenal player to scorer 30 in EPL was RVP. We need a player that can do that again.

Reality check: Top scorers lately have been 15, 16, 14.

Auba was last to do above 20goals.

Can any in the current setup get us Auba goals numbers this season? Be factual pls.

We dey score goals is the more reason we should be having such player on 30+ figures.
Goals from all angles is the best policy.

The time that Auba scored that amount of goals, we were heavily reliant on him. Anytime he didn't score, we either lose or draw. In fact, sometimes he scores and we still end up losing

Same Thing with Van Persie in his last season with us. Infact, it was a miracle he didn't get injured as he was carrying us knowing how injury prone he is.

I prefer last season policy of different goalscorers(4 different 10+ goalscorers) over one 20+ goalscorer followed by single digit goalscorers. I prefer the Former anyday, anytime, Thrice on weekends!!
