White was actually playing Rb. He was the person playing Rb from the beginning all through when we were ontop of the table for most duration of last season. He even won arsenal's player of the month last season playing that same RB(that's to tell you his performance)

Removing him to put in "Jules" who have not made any competitive appearance to play into a high pressure title race is nothing sort of illogical!!

Martinez is more tenacious and reads the game better but Timber is more agile and faster IMO. The main issue with Timber is the possibility that this move is coming 1-2 seasons too early or the question of where he fits in. I actually suspect he will see more action at RB at least initially. I don't see him dislodging Saliba/ Gabriel combo any time soon.

I'm suspecting he'll come to play as a RB tho. Actually, I'm still at odds on where to fix him but I guess everything will be clearer once season starts

Martinez is not that fast but compensates for this by reading the game well and being very tenacious. Timber has more pace than him.

I didn't think anyone is as agile as Martinez and I didn't even know that Timber is that agile

The Timber ship sailed a long time ago. Timber and Martinez can't play in the EPL. The only way we could have used Timber is as a RB but it seems ETH has decided on Dalot and AWB.

We needed a LCB more than a RCB last season as Varane, Lindelof, and Maguire are all better at RCB, so we were lucky to get Martinez and Timber plus Martinez is the better passer of the two. Timber is faster and more agile though.
