Oh, you didn't do your research well I guess You thought Mane have more G/A than Salah reason why you rushed into it shey. Las las e catch you NB: Salah have only hit 30 EPL goal once so no go give Mane unnecessary credit |

Ballzproblem2: true Sha , haaland starts is extraordinary, man done carry golden boot Yeah... Even EPL strikers sef don dey confess. You read the news about Calum Wilson of Newcastle who says EPL should do two Golden boots, one for Haaland and one for other strikers cos it'll be unfair for all the strikers to be dragging one Golden boot with Halaand. |

Ballzproblem2: the way Salah fell of eh ,God , it's like he never existed, everybody eyes are on haaland The thing is, everyone's eyes are on Haaland so it's not just Salah that's off the radar. Someone like Kane have 8 goals in 8 games but he isn't talked about because of same Halaand. Remove Haaland out of the equation and we'll be hearing Kane, Mitrovic, Toney et al |

Spy360: If we can control possession we can easily beat them. The absence of Robertson is their biggest blow as TAA depends on his side of defense whenever he pushes forward. If we start attacks with Saka and are able to switch to Martinelli quick enough, their defense will open. GJ will be too hard for their CBs to keep quiet as he will drag them out of position. I am relishing this game the more I analyse it. Yeah, I agree with what you said and I believe we can make our quality count but one thing you should also remember is that they have qualities too with one of the best coaches. Their main players are back and fit(aside Robbo) so it'll be a very sterner test than what tottenham served us. Jota, Salah, Thiago, are not pushovers. If we need to win, we need to grind 2x as hard as we did tottenham and we need to be ruthless. Also we need our fans to ginger the boys |

We may need to start this discussion very soon Start wetin? Havertz should think of outscoring Salah right foot before we talk about his career goals Meanwhile, you didn't give us alert on Mane again seeing that he was one of the "best" player again in today's match

mostob: I think after that United game, our highline has sort of changed. I noticed it against the Spurs. Gabriel being the farther of the two CBs. Yeah plus Partey always screening the centre backs will add more security. Tbh, this is the best time to beat Liverpool. I just hope we capitalise on it |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:57pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
mostob: Thiago didn't train according to rumours. That is a little let-off for me. If he didn't make the team, Bobby or Jota comes in Midfield which will seriously affect the Liverpool team.
I'm concerned about Salah though but if Martinelli can bring his A-game, that should automatically neutralize Salah's threat. White already faced Son and Zaha this season so I expect him not to have any problem with Diaz.
Saka vs Robertson will be tricky...if only Ode has the decisiveness and versatility of Vieira.
All I all, our past records against them is giving me this negative vibe but our form and the fact that we have our main squad fully fit is giving me positive vibes. Lemme predict a narrow lead (or narrow loss) for Arsenal.
1-0 or 2-1 My mind is telling me that it might just be precaution for Thiago and that he'll be available tomorrow but it'll be a good booster for us if he won't be available. Also, I don't think Robertson will be available tomorrow, hopefully it'll be next week for them. So If he isn't available (90% unavailable), I'm sure Saka would find Tsimikas more favourable. We just needs to be decisive and ruthless tomorrow. 2-1 or 3-1 I'm predicting sha |

mostob: Hit them in the counter or go with full pressing? Which tactic would you employ? We should go full pressing but we should be wary of their counter and be mindful of our highline esp If they stick with the new formation they used on Tues. Our game is a pressing game and we're brimming with confidence so I'm expecting more of the same with a few tactical tweaks |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Arsenal Fans Thread: The Red & White Army: 2025/2026 EPL Champions! by Jodera: 5:32pm On Oct 08, 2022 |
Spy360: I feel Liverpool will be easier than Tottenham. Liverpool are not physical like you said, and on the defensive part they are very susceptible especially with their fullbacks. This is one area our wingers especially Martinelli will be relishing.
Also, with Partey and Xhaka both available and we are likely to dominate the midfield as we are at home. Add Saliba in defense, that's the salt.
Finally we also have Jesus.
4-2 When I meant physical, it was the footballing and technical challenge I meant not the physical part. They're more technical and tactical than Tottenham and I don't believe they'll be more easier than Tottenham. Their main players are back(aside Robertson) and they'll be revved up to mark their stamp back so we need to be careful and expect a very open game unlike Spuds that was very very defensive Also, the bolded are the reasons why I feel we might nick it but it might be a close affair. |

Germans know now too if I tell you to bring screenshots like this capturing Havertz in Am with this kinda rating, e no go reach 10 |

Havertz10: is that why no big club went for him? Is that why Barcelona dumped him to get lawandoski
Chelsea didn’t drag havertz to that final, he earned it by working hard, his chant isn’t far fetched, auba hasn’t even gotten there cause he doesn’t have the capacity
I blame that clueless tuchel for this very conversation Are you saying Chelsea isn't a big club? Auba have gone to more big clubs than Havertz. Moreover, Auba wanted to leave Barca as he loves London so there's no big deal there Chelsea dragged Havertz to the final if not tell me the UCL goal Havertz scored asides the final. When Chelsea drag Auba to final the way they dragged Havertz then we'll show you the definition of clutch |

Havertz10: not worried about havertz at the World Cup, bookmark away
Also auba would need to score not one but multiple final winning goals
We are talking about havertz the infamous clutch merchant here Lol, no worries, I go deh wait you for world cup be that As for the bolded, that one no be issue for Auba. All he needs is for Chelsea to drag him to the final exact same way they dragged Havertz to the final(both UCL and CWC) and he'll score multiple final goals like Havertz and trust me he'll. In fact, any final Auba is carried to, he'll give twice the output of Havertz So, the ball is just in Chelsea's court |

The game against Liverpool is much more than the physical one, it also includes the mental challenge. It's been long we won/drew against Liverpool in the league and last season is even one of the worst where out of 4 meetings we couldn't even score a goal.
The good thing is that as long as we're all fit (which I believe we are), we are very very better than last season and previous seasons in terms of skillset, personnel, confidence and most importantly mentality. Tomorrow won't be a work in the park certainly but I believe these boys will give a very very good showing.
Second leg against Man city and Liverpool last season elevated the confidence I had in this team and it's undeniably clear how much we've improved from last season. Arsenal fans who followed our games consistently from last year December know the kind of good football we played during those times till May. It wasn't a surprise seeing us go a notch higher this season with this displays we've been performing this season when you factor in the quality new signings included(Saliba included)
I believe the boys can do it.
COYG!! |
