Well, I expect this upcoming WC not to 'hurt' us real much as there are some players that will make it back early (if you don't Gerrit forgerrit grin grin)

Group A: Qatar, Ecuador, Senegal, Netherlands
We don't have any key player representing any of these countries currently in our squad.

Group B: England, Iran, USA, Wales
I expect England to make it out of this group but with Southgate, not so far. Who ever came second will be home early cheesy so I expect Turner (not that he is important sha) to be back asap. Pickford may currently get the nod so Ramsdale should be back afresh. With the plethora of attackers England boast of, Saka will likely see moderate minutes. If at all England makes it far and Saka is back half fresh, Marquinho should be able to take over then. ESR , Nketiah Holding and White are debatables.

Group C: Argentina, Mexico,Saudi Arabia, Poland
We don't have any key player representing any of these countries currently in our squad.

Group D: France, Australia, Denmark, Tunisia
My major fear here is Saliba. France has the talent to make it far but the winner's curse may well work in our favour here cheesy so Saliba should be back early.

Group E: Spain, Costa Rica, Germany, Japan
Tomiyasu is a key player for Japan but could be back early. Germany and Spain will likely make it out of the group so we should have nothing to worry about.

Group F: Belgium, Morocco, Canada, Croatia
Lokonga making the Belgium squad is highly likely now due to the exposure he is currently enjoying but may likely not be a regular starter at the tourney. Even at that, he is not a regular for Arsenal if all players are fit. We should have no problem with him.

Group G: Brazil, Serbia, Switzerland, Cameroon
This group is a bit terrifying. Switzerland and Brazil will likely make it out with Brazil a strong contender which means we may be missing our key players in Xhaka, Jesus, Gabi, Martinelli. Marquinhos should be at home as there's no way he would make the squad ahead of Rodrygo, Raphinha and Antony. Martinelli may not make the squad too due to a lot of competition (Everton, Neymar, Richarlison,Vinicus) Jesus and Xhaka will no doubt see a lot of minutes and may not be back fresh. Finger crossed

Group H: Portugal , Ghana , Uruguay, Korea Republic
Vieira and Soarez, if part of Portugal's squad will likely not be starters for them. Partey is Ghana's star man but he should be back early. Uruguay and Portugal will likely make it out of the group. And if Ghana do prove me wrong, the should be back home early too IYKYK grin

All in all, Gabriel Jesus will be the only one we can be sweating on. Xhaka, going by his injury records shouldn't be a problem.
Nketiah is looking to represent Ghana so he might not come back fresh too

Don't bank on Ghana not going far cos with the crop of players that wants to nationalise with them, they might qualify. Hopefully, Partey doesn't get injured.

I don't think Martinelli might be called up with the kind of form Brazil have in that wing. Rodryo wey don dey garner much madd form is even making things difficult for Martinelli.

All in all people who might see most minutes are Partey, Xhaka, Tomi and Jesus

Moderate/least minutes : Saka, Gabriel, Saliba

I feel we might not be too affected sha if no injuries affects any of our key players during the mundial, especially if most of the countries didn't go far. Once they're eliminated, that's another rest for our players to recharge themselves.

So aside injuries, it wouldn't be as bad as we dey reason am

The first time I ever heard of him was when he scored 9 goals in a match against Honduras at the U-20 WC, I cleaned my eyes before cleaning it again to review what I just saw, The deadlier thing to note is that pep will work on his link up, hold up and build up play before he leaves probably to Vardrid or wherever, If he can be this hot at this age in the toughest league in the world and UCL what's there again? God just saved several GKs he didn't decide to represent the country of his birth rather than Norway at the int. Level
Which country is his birth country?

Aguero, Gabriel Jesus, Sterling never scored at this rate but we're to believe father Abraham, Nunez and Havertz would score at this rate at Man city.

Halaand wey dey become highest goalscorer in UCL with Fvcking Dortmund and highest goalscorer in UNL with Fvcking Norway is whom people are saying its Pep and city?

That's how another person here said we shouldn't give Halaand his credit because of pep and Kdb that even Havertz will post same numbers.

Anything to avert L sha grin grin

If you watch 2018 World Cup you will understand why he won't make Spain team.

If this 3 goalkeepers get injured, they have like another 8 ready to come in.
Not even his form can make him become 3rd choice in Spain at least?

No aba pogba. Compare pogba under masimillino Allegri, Deschamps and mouriho. Vs under ole and gengenpressing master.

Compare Salah and debruyne under mouriho Vs under klopp and guardiola. You will know what im saying. Debruyne that was nothing under mouriho became a worldclass midfielder under guardiola.
Boss, no cap this one. Both were youngsters who wasn't given time/opportunity to show their talent and as soon as they had the opportunity, they shone. Kdb won best player in bundesliga if I'm not mistaken before he was even bought by Man city. He was already a top star. Salah himself was already shining very well in fiorentina as well as AS-Roma.

No compare them with Pogba who needed unlocking from Herrera to Fred to Mctominay yet he couldn't be unlocked. Someone who needed at least two good workhorses in order to be unlocked is whom you're comparing output with Eriksen (one of the best Midfielders in EPL).

Pogba ko, poorgba ni

For the ticket matter, there will always be a way around it. Our Man City game will probably be played on the weekdays of UEL Rof32
......Which is to transfer their tickets to another match right? i.e instead of the ticket to be valid for only the PSV match, since it's behind closed doors now, the fans can now use it for let's say Bodo/Glimt match. While that is very possible but do you think Kroenke and arsenal board would want to lose a huge revenue from that PSV match just because it was behind closed doors??

As for that man city match, I guess it's still next year. Hopefully, we don't meet them when we're weak same way we met tottenham when we were week last season grin

i want to believe if qualification have been secured; lemme say Match Day 4-5, he'll get to field these youngsters. as a new coach, i don't think he would want to risk anything at this stage, hence why he's playing his strongest XI
From Oct to November where all Europa group stages is to be completed, there's football every Thurs , meaning Man u will be playing Thursday and Sunday football on a weekly basis till world cup.

I don't see the perfect time to give any youngster opportunity if not during those Thur matches except he wants to run Eriksen to the ground. Man u can't afford to be playing their strongest lineup every Thurs and Sunday, how much more Eriksen.

And when I mean youngsters, I don't mean up to 3-4 oo, but at least one especially if that one is for Eriksen deputy. It's not as if there isn't
a ready talent in academy for that position

we need to get a cm by January to ease the load on Eriksen cuz i no see how Fred wan play what Erik is playing. maybe vdb or an academy player can step up sha
This Europa group stage is the best and perfect time to integrate a youngster that can play that role Eriksen is playing.

Still 4 more matches to go sha, but if ETH can't get a direct deputy with all the talents you guy's academy have churned out with these remaining games, then I dunno how next they might want to make that step up

Imagine a month without Artetaball....

Why would they postpone today's match sef...why can't we just play it behind closed doors...with that, there won't be crowd and need for police.

And now I might still be in church by 12pm on Sunday which means I'll definitely miss the match. Another boring 2 weeks of international break.
Lol, playing it behind closed doors wen we no dey under punishment? cheesy

So those who have bought the ticket for the match, what will you tell them? Abi you think say Kroenke go refund their money?

Even if option dey for kroenke to transfer their tickets to another match, what will you tell kroenke and Arsenal? That they should lose huge revenue they're suppose to expect from arsenal Vs PSV because of Queen's death? As a businessman, will you agree grin

Sunday no far again, just go earlier this time abi no early church service? Even me sef, na early church mass I don adjust my going to cool

In that formation,Ode can't act as a 10 bro. That will expose our Midfield. We will only have just 2 midfielders so Ode doesn't have the skillset. I mentioned Diaby as the perfect partner for Partey in that formation. Compare Diaby and Ode and let's see how Ode meet up.
To be honest, as long as it's 4312 with the 1 being the hole(that's linking the midfield with attack), then Odegaard is the perfect personnel presently to carry it out but this time with increased workload and increase creativity.

Moreover, the two wingers flanking him will also be very very defensively aware too, so I don't think Odegaard can't work in that formation except he's not quick enough. Diaby can someone work sha but I'm presently having vague memory of him cos most of his time here na for treatment table

Southgate fit take am based on the fact Grealish is a media darling.
