Ibime: You don't take account voting patterns. Jogginghoe won in an era after Messi and Ronaldo. His only competition was Chelsea players and English and Italian club players who don't garner votes traditionally.
Varane finished top 7 and every body that finished ahead of him had bucket load of goals and won titles that season.
Modric won UCL and dragged a lowly Croatia to WC final. Ronaldo and Messi can win on goals alone, not to mention Ronaldo won UCL and should have won if not for his rãpe case. Griezmann and Mbappe had goals and world cup to their name.
Varane should not smell top 20 on a normal day.
Varane is a scrub that was carried by both handles just like Jogginghoe. Varane also finished in teams of the tournament and other nonsense you put up for Jogginghoe. Team of the tournament is usually picked from the two finalists plus the odd player that did well up to semifinal. Therefore Jogginghoe competition in UCL team of the tournament was Gundogan. In Chelsea alone, Kante, James, Rudiger, Chilwell, Mendy, Havertz and Mount outperformed him without doubt, even those who didn't play all 90 minutes of each game like Pulisic, Thiago and Chris can be argued.
How can the bridesmaid be the bride just because he was carried from two different angles. When they say team of the tournament, I believe it's a player who performs well in their position. So I don't think Jorginho is competing with dem James, havertz, Mendy and co. And if he's one of the top performers in his position amongst all those that he competed with, why should he be denied that? Same reason can also be used for Varane. He can't be a carry along. Uefa or FIFA never recognises carry along cos if they did, both Jorginho and Emerson will be in all those lists |

WhoDeyHause: Which facts? Jorginho that cannot even carry himself on the field will now carry two teams? It's not only veratti that carried him everybody did even the substitutes they did not use. Holy boehly should better not give him any new contract. If Boehly decides not to give him contract, then fine. I'm not fighting for his contract renewal or believes he deserves any. That not my issue. My issue is that ANYBODY THAT IS IN TEAM OF THE SEASON (BOTH EUROS AND UCL) CAN NEVER BE A CARRY ALONG . NEVER. You can't grace top3 best player in the world and Uefa European best player as a carry along. It can never be done, not even your hatred for Jorginho can make it seem so |

raumdeuter: You see how that theory failed when it comes to Varane, They think being present in winning teams alone is enough
Jorginho best Chelsea layer for the past 15yrs Lol, it'll always fail. Just merely being present is never enough. I remember how Chelsea collectively played excellently enroute to winning the UCL and the only criticism here about Jorginho was that it was community defending so he isn't exposed. Not that he's not playing well oo Good thing is that Uefa doesn't witch-hunt anybody but they look at your performance and Jorginho was a good performer in that community defending. Same in Italy, reason why he was awarded best. Dem no dey use emotions |

WhoDeyHause: He was motm against porto and later disappeared against real madrid and man city unlike Kante the real champions league best player and rudiger. He did all his backpassing and sidewayspassing to have passes completed. I don't know the balls jorginho was recovering maybe loose balls after somebody has already done the big work for him to shine. Donarumma was even given best euros player instead of him because they knew who carried Italy. As useless as busquets is he was even better than him in that euros. At least, he have a Motm in a knockout game shebi?? Also, if Kante wins Motm, it doesn't mean Jorginho was useless, if he was in that tournament he won't be in the overall UCL team of the season alongside with Kante. Afterall, na only one person fit win Motm, no?? As for Euros, as long as he's In the team of the tournament and verrati(whom you claimed carried him) is not in that list, then your claim isn't valid. Both Donnarumma and Jorginho were the two in the team of the tournament, so it means Jorginho, Spinnazzolla and Donnarumma all carried Italy in that Euros
While
Kante and Jorginho carried Chelsea in that UCL winAnd there's only one constant in those two list — Jorginho It's facts, not emotions |

Ibime: Messi, Ronaldo, Lewndowski work is visible on the pitch. You can't name Militao in top 8 most important Real players in UCL and won't name him in top 8 Brazil players.
A basket can be carried along by two different sides. That's why it has two handles. Varane was a starter when France won both the world cup and UCL. Why wasn't he given.? So you see, it's not about merely being lucky cos your country and club won both continental competition in same year |

WhoDeyHause: What did Jorginho do to deserve the awards ahead of others? Someone that other players will be winning the ball and chasing players while he will be jogging at the back and giving sideways passes. He was just given because he was in the two winning teams of the two big europe competitions. He is just like busquets. Useless. He won Motm against Porto right. He has the highest ball recoveries in Euros He has the 2nd most passes completed in Euros Made the team of the season in UCL Made the team of the tournament in Euros All these performances making both his club and country win their respective continental competition. So tell me what Kante or Rudiger did in Euros that made them favourite over Jorginho for them to win that award? |

Ibime: If Militao should mistakenly win World Cup for Brazil this year, you will see how foolish this analogy is. If Uefa gives Militao, then it means he's up there with the elite. I mean, that's what we use to grade Messi, Ronaldo and even recently Lewandowski. We never needed to look at any analogy or how stupid it is..... Why are we now doing it cos it is Jorginho? |

Lol, never knew a day will come whereby UCL Motm award or Euro POTM will be better than Uefa men's best player award or Balon d'Or top 3 award. People who didn't/doesn't rate Busquet (calling him a carry-along) because his doesn't have any FIFA/Uefa award to backup his performances are now denigrating same award cos Jorginho won it. People who use same award to hype Van dijk is now ashamed to use same award to at least credit their player. Nothing wey no go make Agenda to agend |

Ibime: Jogginghoe was not UEFA CLUB player of the year. He was UEFA MENS player which encompasses all UEFA completions, both the UCL and the Euros. Kante carried him to UCL victory and Donnaruma carried him to Euros victory. He was nowhere near the best club player that was Kante.
There is no such award as CLUB player of the Year. Guffanti. That award was ended over a decade ago. If it still existed, Kante would have won it hands down. is his own not better? Okay lemme put it this way... In an SS3 class, we have someone like Kante who's best in Mathematics (UCL), Donnarumma who's best in Physics (Euros) then we have Jorginho who's the person who took First position in SS3 (overall best student) . If they want to rate the best, who'll they call? |

Like I said, I don't support the change because it will affect us long term, meaning apart from it being too early, it will disrupt our play in the future because I know Saka is a very talented player and will definitely pick up his form like we know him - that's if not better.
When I said I see reasons it is because we cannot deny Nketiah's current form as deserving of a place in the starting line up, that is said even though we know it will not benefit us. Lol... Alright. No problems then. |

Igboid: The fact that White as an RB doesn't make much overlapping runs limites SAKA's attacking ouput. White is defensive in nature. The left side of our game has thrived because Zinchenko pushes up while White sits back to form a three man defense with Saliba and Maghaels. Martinelli and Xhaka have been benefitting from having that extra body on the left side, whereas Saka has had to deal with wingers and full backs of opponents alone. Exactly, that's even what I try to summarize in my concluding paragraph. I believe he'll come with time, and he's been showing it already in his last two matches |

Spy360: Apart from the Man United game Saka has not turned up (we lost). While Nketiah has been showing strong performances off the bench and even in Europa with goal and assist.
While I don't support the change as it will affect us long term, I see reasons why the call was made. So even If it's only man u game he turned it, you feel the reason for the call is valid only 5-6 games into the season?? I mean, if it's too early to call arsenal league winners or contenders, why then do you feel it isn't early to even think about dropping Saka for Nketiah? Why are we so so impatient for most of these players especially when they've shown on numerous occasions they have it in them? I know there's something like "any underperforming players should be shown to the bench" or sort but something you guys need to realize is that there are some players who have earned the right to play and play their way into form. No matter how bad/poor Saka plays, 5-6 games is too small to start thinking of benching. It doesn't sound right one bit. And the worst of it all is that he's not even that poor the way you guys are making it seem |

iamoyindamola: You see this is part of the biased double standard I am talking about Our star boy is yet to come to party this season instead of you to say it as it is You wanted more from our top2 performer apart from them we have xhaka and odegaard
No one is saying you should criticize just say as it's If saka step up his game I am sure Jesus and Gabriel will benefit IMO Jesus especially have tried to integrate saka but he's always found wanting I'm not even criticizing yet, just pointing out what they need to improve on. Moreover, most of our attack have been mostly on the LHS than the right coupled with the fact that he(Saka) is still blending to understand Jesus' movement. I don't think there's any course for alarm concerning Saka cos he isn't even selfish, his last two games have been very commendable and his has just gotten his goal which will give him more confidence. Looking at that heatmap I posted sef, you'll see where most of our attack is concentrated and why Saka is even somehow limited. |

Though I think it will affect the long term plan Who is even thinking of that?? Is it that people don't realise that * backups* are very very important and that it's dangerous to put all your eggs in one basket? And also, who do they think will drop out for Nketiah. Saka abi Martinelli? Lol |
