mostob:It's all about rotating smartly in midfield Dm - Partey*, Jorginho, Zubi* CM- Odegaard, Rice, Viera, ESR. If the latter two can deputize the former two smartly, then we're good. It's all about smart rotations bro and I think Esr and Viera can both see game time if Arteta smartly does so |
mostob:Yeah,I really believe in him cos he's someone I know that can bring goals once he's fit and settled. And we really need such a person in the squad. I just hope he's overcome his injury I swear. Hopefully, that surgery will be a positive effect once and for all. If Zinny is sold, I believe Kiwi will stay. I believe it's one or the other sha. See as our defence just deh stacked up and have multiple covers. ![]() Hopefully our midfield and attack will be like that soon |
mostob:That's quite cool if we'll get all these people oo. Neto na just injury be him wahala else na agba baller. I'll prefer zubi to Merino cos Merino is more of an 8 and Zubi is a DM. I no want anybody wey go carry Rice go back dm biko .Anyways, fingers crossed sha, just hopeful. As for Yorobuchi, him play oo, but nothing concern me concern preseason. Na make season start first we go see ![]() |
mostob:Aside Cala which I believe we're on the verge of signing, we've not really known the others yet. I need to see the other ones that's coming to believe such claims. |
mostob:I always believed in Esr and I just hope this coming season he's shaken off his injuries that has affected him. I would love a fit Esr to re-establish himself here. I really love the guy's game Sadly with the coming of Cala, it's time for Zinny to go. Love him but his concentration(lack of) is killing us ![]() Really tried for us first season tbh |
ObaIgwe1:Well, all the best to him sha. Not like we didn't try our best |
MSGAMBLE9:Hmmm... All the best for him sha |
I just hope to see these people fit this coming season : Gabriel Jesus, Timber and Partey(if he's not sold) Since all three, esp the first two, have been working on their fitness and having been rested and fit for a long time, I just hope this season they'll be raring to go. I just can't wait to see GJ Pre-Wc form once again. And also what Timber gets to bring. With more togetherness and clarity, I hope one can go one step further and bring that elusive trophy home. Coyg!! |
afrodoc2:Lol... I'm not against him going if that's his decision. I'm waiting to see WHERE he'll go. I just hope it's not the red devils area ![]() |
Calafiori deal almost getting completed after breakthrough have been confirmed. Player told bologna that he only wants arsenal. Hopefully, here we go soon and we move on to other targets |
Leyqute:Yeah... He seems like all these exceptional lad. I'm just waiting for his decision sha |
Leyqute:Lol, I go dey wait ![]() I no dey watch all these lower lower levels sha. The ones I dey try watch is the level that of team B (like dem Nwaneri and duberry Dem). But the Clips I watched about Chido guy, he's fast, has good positioning and he's good technically and physically. He's good Sha from the attributes I watched him and I also read arsenal even played him in the u-21 team and he still held his own there. Arsenal is trying everything to keep him sha. The decision rests on him |
Oasis007:Never dey shine teeth yet, him never sign for una ![]() |
afrodoc2:Yeah, Duberry have left like a week or two ago. Read Chido Obi wants to make a decision soonest. Na just to watch and see. As for our part, we don try. We gave him good offer plus scholarship plus set plan into the first team. It's up to him to decide sha ![]() |
akwesenana:No ooo... That's Nwaneri(a midfielder) or maybe you meant Duberry who most of us wants him deputize Saka. But this one is Chido Obi, our Skillful Haaland that have been terrorizing the academy, tho he's just 16yrs old(I dunno if 16yrz is "just" nowadays )He once scored 10 goals in a 14-3 win against Liverpool (in u-18). Scored 7goals against I think Norwich or West Ham(either U-17 or u-18). And he scored a couple of 4goals. All these happened just last season oo. We bought him from a Danish club two years ago. Because of these exploits, Bayern, Dortmund and now Man u no wan let our pikin rest ![]() |
Leyqute:Bookmarked!! We'll see who has the last laugh ![]() |
Leyqute:Unfortunately, I don't have feeling for "here we go in the making" ![]() If you guys sign him (and it's a mighty IF cos I doubt), you can hit me up about how I feel about it ![]() |
IZUKWU:Not true currently |
Leyqute:Lol, is this how desperate some Man u fans are, that just a tour guide don turn "here we go"? ![]() Is that guy even a reputable journalist? ![]() |
BlueRayDick:Yeahhh, it really looks dope. Not like last season's own ![]() |
Ijustwantto:Lol, You don take am say you wan banter me this season shey?? ![]() Where's the Messi brotherhood? ![]() |
Arsenal's away kit. Dope or No??
|
Ballzproblem2:You get wahala ![]() |
johnjunior39:I no gree. I don't think he's someone that can elevate our play plus he's injury prone. By next season, we'll still be thinking of buying another upgrade if we buy him |
MorataFC:1. Messi choosing Argentina over Spain is a matter of his personal choice. If he decided to choose Spain, no one will ridicule or criticize him for it. Xhaka, an Albania origin, for example decided to player for Switzerland after being approached, his elder brother (taulant Xhaka) decided to play for Albania. Nobody is dragging or ridiculing Xhaka for not giving honor to fatherland. 2. Lol, it's not about colonization. It's about where your career can be seen brightest. The Neymar, Enzo and all flocking to Europe is because that's where the world is watching and they want to be at the top of their game. 3. Insults and racists words is common when a team loses and scapegoat is made. What's the difference with what we did to Iwobi in afcon and what England did to Saka? The only difference between both is because Iwobi is a full-fledged Nigeria and it's done by Nigerians hence we can't call him monkey. Compare the insults Saka received from England and Iwobi received from us and they're almost the same. I was seeing some of the insults thrown at Iwobi and I even felt disgusted sef. The only thing for football is just to try and clamp down on insults in various forms 4. One bad example? Most African countries are known(esp west African side) of not paying their players allawee or match bonus. There's a reason most north Africans go back to represent their country no matter where they're born and that's because most north African countries have improved their standard of living (prompt pay, standard pitch, class facilities). When other African countries imbibe that, then the Sakas of this world will come and represent. Pointing to colonizers is just cheap excuse for our failure. 5. Lmaoo. This is your bias speaking. You know that can never happen in real world ![]() 6. Lol, people will ALWAYS be willing to represent the nation. Like I said earlier, those who couldn't make it at their first choice country will always fall back to their fatherland(Zaha, Diaz). Also those who are citizens and residing in these African countries will always represent (eg Osimhen, Musa). Let us don't make it seem without them Saka and Yamal etc, Africa will be short of representatives. Far from that. |
Ijustwantto:Waka!! ![]() |
TLona1:I believe that's because you don't read Dutch media. No where wey hype no go deh. Na because we dey read in English that's why we're mostly affiliated with English football. |
swiz123:If my child wants to represent his country of birth who nutured him, why will I stop him when he's a citizen of that country?? After all, I was taught in primary school that one of the ways one can become is citizen of a country is through birth. I don't want to believe it has changed. For example, I know Yamal parents is of African origin but I will find it very very shocking if he opted to play for his parents' African country when he grew up solely at Spain. Forget all these your shout outs, Most players that opt to represent their African fatherland do so as a last option because they couldn't break into the top country's team. If they were top skilled stars like them Yamal, Musiala or Saka, they wouldn't even think about their fatherland. B.diaz, Zaha, Lookman are good examples |
drisham:Lol... No ooo. I no even dey Twitter yet sef ![]() But I dey certain say that person dey active on this thread. E too dey obvious ![]() |
swiz123:Are you saying presently, nobody is representing Chad as footballers? If you can't represent Chad because it's underdeveloped compared to Nigeria, why do you want your peer from England to represent Nigeria that's underdeveloped after all the insecurities and Boko Haram that those people will be hearing too? It's easier for you to say yes, you'll represent Nigeria when you're currently living here; same way it's for Chad footballers living there to represent their country. The real deal is experiencing all your life there and still feel you can still say YES as you're saying now |
raumdeuter:The bolded is what most are not getting. They think it's just easy to go to another country you're not connected to just because it's your fatherland. Imagine Saka that have grown all his life in cold region and sweet playing pitch, only to leave all that for a hot region and bumpy pitch. And las las they won't still pay him his allowance sef. Not against anybody that wants to come back (like Iwobi) but omorr, nobody should ridicule anyone who doesn't wants to. |
