50d33q: You sef agree we sit deep Let's kuku play 11 defensive minded players then Lol... Sit deep and hit on the counter. What Spy said made sense. If we can restrict their forward players, they'll be frustrated and would want to attack. Then we can hit them on counter. They need this win than us, they are at home too, let's not forget that. That will play on their pysche for all or nothing. The good thing is that they don't have good creative Midfielders and that's what I'm banking on when talking about deep defensive line. Smith Rowe will be very essential here too |

Spy360: On the contrary I will suggest we sit deep. It's Spurs not Man City. This is not to attract pressure but to neutralise their strengths and disorganise their game (as you said). This is for the following reasons
1. Spurs lack creativity in their midfield and will find it difficult to break a low block. A high line will allow Son the space to outrun any defender once an overhead ball is used.
2. A deep defense line is the best way to deal with Son and Kane as they major in pace and fast counter. They thrive in one on one situations and so need space to do this, therefore a low block will make them useless.
3. Spurs have lost mainly to smaller teams because they defend more. Give them the ball, drop deep, use your good passing technique to make them run and frustrate them. Agreed 100% with you. If we can play the way we did against Chelsea (deep defensive line), it'll be good |

See how him pack all our Midfielders and attackers put for pitch like say na 15 against 11 we dey play. Now he's blaming coach and talking about Elneny and Xhaka. Ask him this same question a month or two and he'll be the first person to throw stones at you |

waploger: How many shots on target did Nketiah get yesterday? I wish I know why you're asking this or where you're driving at. But if it's just the answer to that question you asked, I think you can easily get it at nketiah's match stats. |

mostob: Maybe it might be due to the quality of players surrounding him but that guy is just off. And he is hot headed so I'm not sure Arteta would go for him Lol, the guy no too hotheaded like that oo. I think it's just the emotions of today's game (especially since the loss will push them closer to relegation) is affecting him. A little bit of stinginess in his game, yes, but it's not that hotheaded. Moreso, he stands out even in that poor quality team. Today generally wasn't really isn't his day |

mostob: Cedric is weak abeg...both defensively and offensively. As for the corner kick, I was surprised as well. Martinelli is much better so I don't know why Cedric was taking the kicks. All his corner kicks today we're off....just place the ball but baba wan score directly.. SMH Really? Cedric weak defensively? I've not seen it that way this season oo. I felt he deputised very well for Tomi during his absence. His crosses are so so bad. I dunno why he's taking our corner kicks and even standing to even take free kicks. Na wa ooo |

mostob: The way Martinelli sent Raphinha to surulere is not talk about well enough... ESR entered and sent Firpo to Ajegunle...
Martinelli really tried today...dude I gradually becoming a good winger and the way he controls those long balls keep me wondering if na the same ball Pepe dey play. Saka was quiet today... Is it just me or does anyone else think our defence looksore stronger with Holding than with White. Saka is very very tired or he's carrying a knock. I think Arteta knows but he's just using/managing him. Another thing I want let Saka improve on Is running in behind defence. Most times he's always expecting ball to his feet. I hope he can blend both. And that's what Martinelli is blending very well. He knows when to dart in behind the defence and when to receive ball at his feet. What I feel he should improve on is his scoring from the wings. But on in all Martinelli tried really well today as well as Saka. They really used their opposition defenders well. Holding has been impressive this season for us. I don't know holding defence have been stronger White's own but one thing is certain, we didn't really miss White cos holding slotted in seamlessly. We'll see how it fares against Tottenham too. The downside is that no more holding lock shop package again |

Dreamswayne: Very poor!! I'd rather someone like Bissouma if we looking for league proven midfielders.
No doubt in my mind we can find better bargains outside EPL though... Fabian Ruiz, Caqueret, Paqueta, Laimer, Sangare et al, or even some South American gems if we scout hard enough. We need get better Midfielders no doubt. Quality and ready Midfielders for that matter not all these prospects like dem Sambi |

BlueRayDick: Nobody’s even talking about how Tomiyasu played the LB role calmly devoid of the heart attack inducing football Tavares has been serving us in previous matches I swear. I guess that's what we'll be seeing from now on(Cedric and Tomi fullbacks). Thank goodness Tomi will start against Tottenham. At least, my heart will not be beating with tavarez facing son or Kulu |

Dreamswayne: Watch Tielemans against Spurs and come back to this... You know how Lacazette and ESR get gassed out at the 60th minute?! That's Tielemans in a nutshell
Absolute poor physical conditioning when he's asked to press! To be honest eh, I think say na only me dey watch tielemans this season o. I think he dropped form this season. He's so poor positionally, easily subdued when pressed and he's not that good in work rate. Aside Tottenham's game, tielemans have been poor this season (esp from Jan) |

Roland17: No Arsenal signing don fall my hand reach Pepe! I don make excuses for the guy tire but this man serious. Next season is going to busy for us, especially when you consider we are going back to Europe and will be involved in multiple competitions. We need better forward players wen dey serious and fit Arteta’s plan. Pepe fall everybody hand abeg. After that him first match cameo against Burnley and then starting against Liverpool displays, the guy performance have gone so so downhill. I just pray we get better forward players next season as well as good Midfielders. Spurs and perhaps man u will be very strong next season |

popizaino: No there is a big difference,he's been very cautious and conservative now, unlike his Dortmund days were he was tactics was too open and dependent on players energy and speed.its why I disliked him at time because if you can connect the dot I like old players and old players won't survive in a tactics were you run run and run. At Dortmund his midfielders don't stand and distribute ball they drive the ball leaving spaces behind all the time, all of them move into available space, although it's very effective if you have young blood who would run and take the risks of jumping I to any tackles but I don't like it. Klopp cautious and conservative?? The kinda high line Liverpool keeps this season is even worse than In previous seasons if I'm not mistaken. Aside maybe Man city, I hardly see anybody klopp is even conservative for except if he wants to close out games. Klopp's football have always been run and tackle— ghen ghen pressing for a reason. He just had improved players compared to Dortmund that can make him take any shape he wants his football at Liverpool is exciting as that of his Dortmund's days. |

Klopp's football was called metallic football for a reason. And he still hasn't changed it. I don't know why Popi is thinking otherwise |
