Tomiyasu na the General. The one we call on in case any attacker wan misbehave. I'm sure you don't mean Partey will play Rb again? |

Spy360: It's at this point that a team's mentality begins to show. The key is to take a game at a time and never lose focus even if you lose. Anything can still happen.
Secondly, Arteta has done well taking us to the title challenge again this season. I think he is so unlucky to have the likes of Klopp and Pep competing against him. These are tactical behemoths. In the same vein, they still bring out the best in him. The fact is he is the future of football management as far as PL is concerned.
Jodera said Liverpool has the best attack. I think it's Arsenal. We have more players having 10+ G/A than any other team. Familiarity indeed breeds contempt. Jo, I hope making your apologies on Havertz now isn't misplaced. Is it? I'm talking about individual attack in terms of players not as a team. In terms of team, I believe arsenal have the best attack, but as per individuals I'll give it to Liverpool. I believe you'll be able to differentiate between the two I meant |

Akinbahm: That guy pocketed KDB sotey the guy tire and start to dey explain.
Man mark KDB tirelessly and Highland will be useless, find two pacy and clinical forward players behold your mighty citeh is down.
Endo & Mac Allister really dealt with city midfield yesterday... Liverpool looks more of a threat than City yesterday.
Lastly, Kloop in game management is damn top notch... Quansah and Bradley lemme just FEM. That's just the key to beating y Man City now. Man Mark Kdb out of the game and if possible Add Rodri too to prevent control and attack is most times effectively shut. The then fast transition and interplay. As for Klopp, there's a reason why I respect him over Pep. The guy is the epitome of Game and Man Manager |

mostob: Jota may be more clinical but individually, Salah beat am. Salah wry fit carry ball from half way and score. Diaz can't do sh't bro. Lol, I'm not comparing Jota to Salah. Everyone knows Salah murders Jota day in day out. I'm talking as a group, if things aren't going a teams way, which of these attack can come up with a win(i.e just scrap a win without the team actually playing well) Salah/Jota/Nunez (or Diaz) Martinelli/Jesus(or Havertz)/ Saka Grealish/Haaland/ Foden Personally, I think it's the first and that's because of Salah and Jota |

daveP: Klopp's approach is sweet. City Midfielders got tired of running back to assist their suspect attack minded defense.
Klopp: Play a long ball to Salah, the city defenders rush back in droves to cover up space and the Midfielders also slot into pockets to stop any shot at goal. Do this 10times and the man city midfield collapses cos they are being bypassed over and over, therefore making the game more of defense vs attack than midfield vs defense. Plus all that running.
Also the overconfidence of Walker. Diaz was there yet you still dey high upfield. Rodri therefore has to try cover the RB zone. Rodri is not a pacy guy so that activity alone tired him already. Pep didn't even bother telling Walker to sit back. That one don dey feel like winger.
Then Liverpool lone ranger. That workaholic MacAllister. So operation bypass and quick thinking. That way, everyone watching will forget how good the city Midfield ever is. Plus they're so alien to sitting back and defending overall.
Rodri-Silva-Kdb Lol
As for Osimhen, anyday man. Anyday!! Imagine he and Odegaard pressing together. Osssh. Endo deserves praise too. How they got that guy for 15m needs to be studied. The thing is, I don't think we can play Liverpool's style cos both skillset of players are different but what we just need is quick transitioning and taking control of the game too. It'll be a tight affair sha |

Debruyne could’ve won that game for City but Pep was scared of conceding because of his defensive fragility. Lol, I get. But Pep is Pep, he doesn't normally owe anyone explanation. It was just surprising Liverpool was pressing his team's neck aggressively ystdy only for him to leave it and start explaining (what I don't know) for Kdb. It's surprising as well as..... Funny |

daveP: What you said played out today. Generating 19 shots on target and back to back attack chances that turned to unlucky moments.
For examples, what Diaz did to Walker and Rodri 3ice in the game, Nelli can't. Then the kind of space Red shirts held in city box and they fluffed them. Their buildup was direct and fast and so that alone is an Achilles of City(they have to decide to up the ante and abandon their possession game and show they're equal and that's where things began to break down)
I saw MacAllister singlehandedly bossing a midfield with Rodri, Kova/Kdb and Silva. Rodri turn ghost with Kova having more tackles since he came on.
Simple-No time to waste. Quick transition. If Nunez had sense, Liverpool ought to win this one.
I finally accept that Haaland is useless. I'll take Osimhen any day going forward. Don't berate me for this choice.
Salah played less than 25mins and had more touches and chances than you that played all 98mins? A half fit salah o. Lol, I think the loss will fall more on Diaz than Nunez. Diaz missed clear cut chances twice that if he'd scored like one, they would have won. The reason why I'm partly confident we can win Man City Is that our Midfield and defence. If our defence and Midfield are complete then I'm confident we can hold our own against them and it'll be more better if Alvarez Is even put in midfield too. Another thing like you said is quick transition. I'm glad we're finally doing that quick transition once there's space instead of that tippy tappy we were doing first half of season. If we can do this also, I believe we can eke out something. The only problem is just that it's Etihad which will tilt it to their favour but I'm not fully worried. Then finally Haaland. I see you've finally seen what I'm saying about him. If you notice he's highly short 1 anytime they're pressing Man city and this is a whole Man City that have a system in place for over 5yrs, how much more we that is just starting to get a grip of our own. I'll prefer a Victor Osimhen for us than a Haaland. Yeah, Osimhen might miss goals but he'll surely score more than misses especially as we create chances more and he won't really hamper our system. But Haaland? Omorr |

mostob: Jodera Nice analysis but are you really sure Liverpool has the best attack individually? I'll say yes but it is arguable tho If push comes to shove(like on a bad day), someone like Salah, Diaz, Jota and even Nunez can just score a goal even if Liverpool are not playing well. Do we have players like that who you think can score even if we're playing badly? Realistically, I doubt. |

I also believe it will go down to the wire. Everyone's got their job cut out for them.
Fixture congestion, squad exhaustion and fatigue might play a role tho. The squad that can keep winning inspite of these issues would probably win it.
Arsenal will be there if they maintain their form and avoid injuries. Same with City and Liverpool although I think Liverpool will fall off soon if they don't sort their defense out. They've played the most games too, so they're more likely to be fatigued. Aptly put!! 100% Especially the bolded |

Leyqute: Who do you think will win the league? And what chance does each contestant have? Hmmmm, this season I believe it'll be tight. I want arsenal obviously and I know we're ready for the fight compared to last season (I no put mouth about us winning last season cos I suspected they might falter along the way due to pressure). But if I'm a neutral fan watching the three teams, I'll give it to Man City, Arsenal and Liverpool (in that order) and here are my reasons or the chances Man City: They've been there and even though they're considerably weaker compared to previous seasons, they just have that mentality and experience to scrape through a 3 point even while not at their best. They're just favourite just because they're always in these kind of pressure yet still come out tops and of course they have guardiola. But due to their considerably weaker squad (compared to previous seasons), their two other rivals have hope. Arsenal: They're playing one of the best football in the country and seem to get everything right but then they know that the only way to win the league is by winning everybody. Winning Man City, Man U, Tottenham all away is a big task and they know they need to do it. If they can do this in the next ten matches while picking up the other big match wins at home (Aston Villa, Chelsea— which I believe they would), then they have a good chance of winning it. This five matches is where I believe the league will either be won or lost for us. Another thing is keeping the core fit. Odegaard, Rice and the two CBs needs to be fit for this to happen, else the system might be weak. Liverpool : They're another resilient team and I'm still in awe on how they are still in title race even with the whole bunch of injuries they have. But then, I don't think the defence is that strong even though their attack individually is the strongest amongst the top 3. What is see is a group of players fighting for their manager's pride and to give him a befitting goodbye. But they're a very good side and they've been here before even though the core of them are missing (dem Hendo, Mane etc) All In all, personally the disparity isn't much among the top 3 cos they all look ready, looks to have experience and their depth seems very good for the fight. It'll be a entertaining end of the season cos I believe all 3 will go down the wire |

Leyqute: Agree. Bigger stress on environment. He shouldn’t be shouldering this much responsibility in a dysfunctional team at this age when he is yet to hit his peak. Exactly. But then, the good thing is that you guys seems to be getting it upstairs (that's putting footballing people in footballing places) so I don't think Garnacho reliance will be too much probably starting from next season. Structure and environment is really important in a club sha, then a very very good coach to. A coach who can improve players that's why you'll hear testimony about players who worked under Pep and Klopp saying that they always see things differently and that their game play have improved. I wonder how Foden will be if he's not under Pep and I wonder where Rashford would have been now with Klopp. |
