hensben: Mourhino will really fit Newcastle United, they will win epl with him because the current players are his type. If Mou couldn't do anything with his type of players at Tottenham, what makes you think he'll do something (as carrying league) with Newcastle? Most of you can't just stomach the fact that Mou isn't that special as you think he once was. And you're so always known for making such careless remarks such as the bolded |

germaphobe: I know that once ATM eliminates Inter this conversation is going to start. The thing is that you guys misunderstood jod.era and what he had in mind. Porto have a good attack but you can't compare it to that of Inter, an Inter team that have scored 70 Seria A goals this season, do you need to see how many matches that they've won by 3 or 4 goals difference?, No be only Porto Sabi beat person by 5 goals. The fact that they met resistance from a well organized defense doesn't take away their record. I don't watch the Portuguese league but I have seen Inter play this season countless time to know what I'm saying. Checking their goal record and statistics can easily end this argument but what do I know?. Lol... Omorr they really misunderstood what I actually meant and to be honest I really didn't expect that post to garner such reaction. |

Well I didn't say you won't qualify against porto I said we'll observe your jorginho as we come into the business end of the season I thought you are fighting on two fronts right now? And I posted that because of the mouth you people were making that you will destroy Porto, you will do this, you will do that as if you don't know their history in the champions league, I'm sure your shirt was filled with sweat after Raya's last save. Lol, you can keep on observing till the end of season. Whether we flog Porto 8-0 or 15-14(through penalties), the goal is to qualify. We can do the flogging in the league where goal difference matters. Anyways, keep on watching Jorginho |

An attack that can score the kind of goal against Raya in the first leg would've hurt us real bad if our defenders were complacent. We're actually saying the same thing with different wordings but it's all good... |

But to be honest, I wasn't really scared ystdy in terms of their attack. What really scared me was breaking their defence and playing our game. Their Midfield and defence are really really organised |

BlueRayDick: U made two contrasting points in the same post. U claim Porto lacked that great attack to compete them and u also posited that our defence deserve kudos.
Okay let me rephrase my post like this: Arsenal defence being at their 100% was the reason why u think Porto lacked that great attack to compete them. They have a great attack that blasted Benfica away 5-0 last week and 2 weeks ago they scored 1 unreplied goal against same Arsenal Their defence and keeper is certainly great. Arsenal could hardly get a sniff. Porto attack is good but it's not as great as their defence. That's the completeness I'm talking about. I believe good and great are two different things. I never said it's a bad attack |

iamoyindamola: You claimed Porto attack wasn't effective enough Trying to play down their attack and I tell you for free if we give them more space they will hurt us The best saves in the match is from Raya apart from the goal Costa didn't do much I never said their attack is bad which is what perhaps you guys are implying, I said it's not great. I didn't even say it's not good, I said it's not great. There's a reason I praised our defence for shutting them down. Inter of Lautaro and Thuram(with their Midfielders)will surely trouble us than the attack of Evanilson and Co. How you guys claimed I said "ineffective artack" is what I don't understand |

Lush100: What a performance.
I knew we would win. I know we just needed to score that goal to balance the deficit from the 1st leg. Raya is proving to be the signing.
I had wanted G.Jesus to play from the left with Saka on the right. I was only concerned about him being clinical in front of goal. Gabriel is good against teams like this. Because he attracts many players and able to release the ball to our players who may be free.
Arteta should take them to Dubai for another hot weather treatment....Dubai Magic.... Arteta said no Dubai again this season oo |

Inaki Cana has been training Raya for PKs in last 2months. That went on silently sotey it was even hard to wonder if the guy was known for such expertise before pk started.
Truly this is a crew influence on this team.
Jover Cuesta Stuiverberg Cana
All working hard and reaping results. 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 He didn't even need a bottle to see where anyone will kick. There's a reason Arteta deh always celebrate goals with them anytime we score or take pix with them when he's been awarded coach with the award. He knows these success is not only him and that these guys put in alot of work for the success of the team. If you notice before the Pk started, Stuivenberg was already showing Raya something on the pad. I believe it's what they've worked on. The togetherness in the team is unreal |

This team is on the ascendancy but one thing I will always acknowledge these guys is their "efforts". No matter how, whether they win, lose or draw, they always always show effort and "care". You'll hardly see them being bullied or lacking desire. They always care and you can see it in their celebrations.
And there's nothing fans love more than these attributes!! |

You see that Inter ehn, I was discussing with a friend of mine who is also an Arsenal fan that I pray not to see those inter boys cause those ones are something else Those ones looks complete in their "compactness" masterclass esp Inter. Porto for all their compactness and organisations lack that great attack to 'complete' them. Kudos to arsenal defence and our organisation for trying to even shut them down but Inter will be a whole new difficulty |

Kilishihunter: Very good ooh cause Costa is a good penalty expert, and raya too, even got a hand to the second Porto penalty scored, I'm sure few teams will be willing to go to penalty kicks with them as of now but then again penalties can be a game of Russian roulette Costa is good but if you watch the way arsenal took their penalties tactically, you'll know it'll be hard for a goalkeeper to save them. We did same against Man City in the community shield and just like Costa ystdy, their GK went the wrong way. That long time delay arsenal do take before they strike the ball have a way of mentally disbalancing a GK. |

Wowwww!!!... Finally, after not being able to progress past the round of 16 for years, then not be in the competition for another 7years we came back and we're now in the quarters. 14 long years since last time we were in quarters Congratulations to the boys!!! I was so happy when it was heading to PKs knowing that Raya had good PK abilities. The tactics which our players used for the Pk(long seconds of delay before striking the ball) was really really effective. It totally disbalances the GK and his thoughts on where the ball was to be actually played if it was rushed. Also the four PK takers were the best takers I can actually think of in this team (bar Trossard and Jorginho who were already out). Kudos to the selections Porto really deserve the applause. They were really good mehhn. If this match was played 10 times, I doubt the scorelines would exceed more than 1-0s. Skills, discipline, aggressiveness they have it. And boy, who's that Wendell?. Old man with a young body. That guy no allow Saka breathe for one second. That assist from Odegaard is filthy. The move in which he evaded his marker and the pass to perfection to beat the players, was all sublime. Geez!! The ice cool Trossard. Infact, in that situation, it's him I'm 97% that'll convert that all important chance in our team. That goal was really pitch-perfect. If that's the only reason why Martinelli was unfortunately injured, I'll take it with full chest . Very important player Trossard. Hmmm, At an aside, I hope we don't meet Athletico or inter sooner cos those two na advanced Porto Football break till 31st. The boys needs it. Still in awe for their mentality COYG!!! |

People underestimate the effort of Klopp in building a team that stay consistent over a season. What you see as individual performance in Liverpool, I see it as team work.
Liverpool play in different shapes that carves open any defense irrespective of who they play against. The only manager that has successfully maneuvered Klopp tactically is Arteta and that was after two losses. Well, your points are very very valid. I agree with it too |

These legends also had problem with Mourinho more than any other coach for obvious reasons. There are so many complaints about Poch playing style from chelsea fans, not just the result. You know this With his reputation coming into Man u and the craze for winning, any coach not named Guardiola would have panicked. The difference between you guys and others is that Una legends too dey para ontop Una club matter when any small thing happened. You guys don't have the players and with the uproar over the first two games and the kind of limited/deficient players he had, I doubt you guys wouldn't have mind if you finished the season outside top 6 and even without a trophy. ChristoBam: Are people now saying they'd be happy if we were languishing in 12th but playing good footy and bossing possession stats.
I've watched enough Chelsea games to know this is a huge lie. In reality, results matters.
I can't look at that backline, then watch Casemiro, Mctominay and Bruno do their thing, then delude myself that the manager should be playing good footy while getting the results.
After 2 years, with 400m spent, we should have have a better squad, right? But mistakes were made. Good thing is we can step into the future confidently with this manager because we now have one of the best structures in Europe.
One reason I'm even super confident Ten Hag is staying is I've seen people go through managerial options and no one on the list is that special. Not one. This here is facts!!! |
