Multispanzy: Hello great people in the house, please kindly enlighten me on this Canadian admission; I applied for M.Eng Chemical engineering @University of Ottawa, although part of the requirements is that 'B in Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or related courses' then they also accept minimum of second class lower for the course. I had second class lower division and I applied. So am left with the transcript stuffs. My final CGPA was 2.91. Although I graduated in 2010 and have atleast 2 years plus work experience, though work experience is not stated as requirement.
My question is do I stand a chance of getting admission base on the requirements of 'B in Bachelor degree? Thanks for your response You have a good profile bro, how solid is your last two semester grades, what field is your experience? Hope you packaged your CV and SOP well? Give it a shot bro. |

oshoki: Hello everyone please I recently applied for a pgd program in a school in canada because I was not able to apply for masters because of my 2.2 result but recently found out that the diploma degree I will get from the school might not enable me apply for masters.. does anyone have any info on what my other options might be if I go ahead with the diploma? Did you apply for masters at all or you just concluded? Any work experience etc? How good is your last two semester results? Some courses taken in your undergrad also play some roles. These are some of the factors some schools work with. Digest the requirements and give it a shot, it's all about application fee though. |

hayqinsbFX: I have just barely 6months after school...and really my soa lonnng gan..like 7pages for just 3months wey I even print then...now it will be longer...
I intend to work out a payslip instead of that...just stating the amount I earn each month... That wud suffice more than the complex soa containing transactions they have no business knowing... It isn't a salary account. Bro, I feel it's cool you resubmit your SOA. Your payslip could even be more complex because it takes nothing to fabricate. It's already stated that you work so why pulling that out? Never give room for chances. Your case is direct. |

hayqinsbFX: Yeah..thanks.. I will remove my SOA this time around. Include payslips and a letter of introduction from the company(I believe that should suffice) Why removing this? |

JohnDuke259: Quick question folks:
There is an instruction in the letter that was sent to me that: your passport must be valid for the duration of your expected stay in Canada. Please note we cannot issue a visa beyond the expiry date of the passport.
Please can I renew my passport now before handing-it to them because my passport expires in February 2016 and I am going for a 4 year program.
Thank you all once again! You can always renew your passport when you get in. No issue at all. Congratulations! |

Solo8: I'm pretty sure there are no immigration officers reading this thread daily to keep up with your application tactics. Don't confuse intelligence gathering with normal everyday people working. There is a reason why they ask for so many documents and with the amount of people applying, they can easily see trends when people start lying. How sure are you? We monitor things! |
