“My UK? grin
Marjoribanks:
You guys are so funny! The reason we keep lagging behind is cause you all think govt has to do everything for you all.

Most of our Athletes are based in the United States. So why do you all like crying

How many Athletic medal has your UK won? You always come out from your rat hole to spread bad news!
Sports / Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Joebie: 11:58pm On Aug 05
We go cry the same cry in 4 years time. Na today?
Ppogbae:

It's wild. So many of our athletes fell short of reaching in the finals or medalling in Track and Field. If the government did the bare minimum in terms of planning and providing resources, our medal yield would be so much higher. These things premised on careful planning and investment. It's not run and inshallah.

I agree to a good extent. I know the guy, Samm Audu. We follow each other on twitter/X and his site is better and more news relevant than OGN, ANS and the likes. Not all perfect though but a lot better.

If Saintfiet was available to be interviewed then he has a pathway for dumping the Philippines. I prefer him because he firmly believes in Nigeria and loves the SE.

comodo:

So after all the noise its only Chelle and Saintflet . Among the 2 Chelle is d feasible option. The other is attached to Philippines. Anyhow make dem name somebody.

I like Saintfiet for the fact that he believes Nigeria should have exceeded Morocco’s achievement T the WC long. Big dreams. The first thing is to believe. But does he have what it takes?

If we no qualify now and dem call u mofo, u go like am? We’ve always had better players than all the teams in our group from Round 1 of the qualifiers. I wait to see the needed change before I start to get hope.

In two years, Nigeria would have Superstars across the length of Europe.

I remember few years ago when I said football academy is the new oil.
Expect more academies popping up pretty soon.

We will qualify for 2026 World Cup and win next AFCON!

There will always be changes. There is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Even your parents and the ones before them have cried the same cries.

Mujtahida:

We are talking about football. If football dies, which Super Eagles will you watch? Anything that diminishes the game affects football whether national or league football. Tiki taka is a creeping poison. It's seeped through the pore of the game and it's killing it slowly. We won't wait until the gangrene has become irremediable.

I like what Finidi is doing. The likes of Oliseh will see the reality. Come to the NPFL and don't give up on the league. You will have another shot at SE someday, or at least move to bigger clubs in Africa.

U drink o

Mujtahida:

Let's no dally around asking such questions. Who is the Apoty? That's the kind of question you just asked me. And besides, it's a wrongly worded question. The essence of your question - since you use America - is that you are a native of the country wey you japa go because you have conquered the country and created a new nation? 🤣🤣🤣

Hausa man wey stay for your land, becomes a native abi and we often fight against fulani people as land grabbers? Una well done. Let's bring it home and contextualize it with our own ethnic nationalities and see if a Yoruba Man will agree that an hausa man is a Yoruba man.

Is a Yoruba man who as a matter of fact are many in Zaria and have been there for over a 100 years an hausa man?

I won't be responding after this sha so that it doesn't become a political discourse but my point is that Saka is not an English man.

Who are ethnic natives of America?

Mujtahida:

I simply believe that it is right for native people to represent themselves. Where's the beauty of the competition? It's like AFCON in Europe. Let Europeans do the Euro and AFCON for Africans.

If it is America, its okay for blacks to cover the ground due to the history of that country or if there are one or two blacks in an European team but to have the whole team dominated by black people is fraud of a certain kind.

Lest I be interpreted as anti black. No. I'd say the same thing if the Japanese team is dominated by white people.

This idea that just because a person's parents emigrate to a country, give birth in that country, fiam their children now become natives is a fraud in the same category as the trans agenda when a woman says she's a man or vice versa.

So Saka is an English man now? Odiegwu
