[quote author=slimmsyyetty post=128132124]In addition to this, Samina had a point but he is throwing anger tantrum because of his refusal. Just because he was refused doesn't mean others would be refused. Visa issuance is all about grace. If his friends could receive, others could receive too.

Sincerely, OJC is strictly DIY study route or DIY PR route, and 99.9% of visa approval are students and not visit on the group. Even the student visa route isn't 100% guaranteed. Applicants still share their sad news of refusal and GCMS. I know some people that applied for study visa upto 3 times this year alone before they finally got PPR. I guessed they have the resources available that made them keep re-firing.

Truth be told, we are now very aware that Canada has now been slow with their timeline process as the number of days keep increasing.

Nigerians are now applying for asylum oo. It is only 1 guy that I know out of many people that came in through visit visa that hasn't applied for asylum because he trust God for a miracle. He said he can't compromise his faith to lie and deny his God's commandment because of earthly things when God has better things for him in heaven at the end of his life on earth(base on the reasons people apply for asylum to him is distasteful). I felt sad when someone we both know has gone to apply for asylum barely few days of arrival and this person is doing farely well in Nigeria. In fact, Nigerians apply for asylum right from airport once stamped in. grin grin

Why would people who has 5 years or more multiple entry visa apply for asylum? It's a different case if it were to be single entry.

The reason is this: many of them have blown their trumpet to colleagues, friends, relatives, community members, e.t.c. that they are now "RELOCATING" to Canada. Imagine saying you are relocating to Canada on a VISIT VISA, when you don't know what will await you. It's a different case if you are going via study, work or pr route. Some even sold their properties to buy air ticket and use the rest as pocket money. So the shame of people seeing them back home after shouting their ((relocation)) wouldn't let them go back again. Some don't even have any properties to depend on when they return because they have sold all. sad

This is what I do tell people. Don't sell your house or landed properties because of VISIT VISA. It's a terrible risk. Houses and land appreciate speedily in Nigeria. Don't force your family members or carjole them to sell your parents house or land because of VISIT VISA.
Imagine selling your house for 30M because of visit visa. How many years would you work as a visitor for you to gain back your 30M. Funny enough, this money should be joint ownership for some family, and because you carjoled them, they gave you a larger % out of love with the hope of seeking greener pasture, but they never knew you gamble with their own share of inheritance. grin

I do advise people, if you got a visit visa and you have a stable job, try and look for a way (if it is possible) to ensure you secure it for about 3-4 months (even if it is without pay). Lias with your boss, if possible. If you have your own functional business, don't close it down. Keep it running if possible. Set CCTV everywhere and keep a trustworthy person there. Let them know there's camera watching them everywhere. You can monitor anything from your phone now. Then use the 3-4 months you are in Canada to spy. Use it to make connection if possible, and pray to God for divine connection. You have many years of multiple entry visa at your disposal if the first time didn't work out. But the problem with our people is IMPATIENCE. They can't wait for beans to be done, yet they want to eat beans.

I wish everyone waiting for ppr a successful approval in Jesus name
Amen

Very very best advice so far.

Praise the Lord

Note as many were refused, others were approved. A naval officer in uniform was refused with his wife and kid
A business man was refused with his wife and 3 kids
Others approved included a old lady, a mother with 3 children, a husband and wife. Only 3 booths were used for the interviews. My message is just be confident and be familiar with DS 160 form. Be prepared to answer any questions convincingly. Noted they hardly check documents except where necessary. Good luck to the applicants in the house.

Congratulations

How did they know she gave birth there and overstayed? Did the doctor call the consulate? The doctor must have been amebo. They are even asking to see receipt. This is truly amazing. Americans make it their business to know everything, hidden or revealed. I bow to their society with respect.

Then the number of staffs u have, how much u pay them. Make sure that u go with personal account not only the business account ( But atimes they d'nt check it) what counts in y business is the years the business av bin running.

Friends come here and post their transcript which is very good but we really need to state in details of what the USA consulate really need from us. (Especially those applying for B1/B2 visa). Ps NOTE that USA visa application is very different from UK visa dear friends. UK will give u visa with six months payslips even if u just started the job, so far u are working and earning pay but for USA they are really interested in your job, y profession , years u av spent in the job (Stable job) , your experience in the job, the career u have build for your self, what your company does, reputable companies. They are really after it ps. Ties no be only family as we think o! Or u want to prove to them u av travel history. Lol! Did d'nt care atimes. Traveling history is just only a plus to y getting visa but not the main thing in evaluating. They know how u get money travel out? May be u did Yahoo Yahoo to travel out to build travel history. Lol! My friends they are really concerned about your job profile. They know u are coming to spent in their country so they av to be very sure u av a stable job. Earn decent salary, pension, leave allowance. For me this denial really open my eyes, it made me to really make more research and I really know best now. I was having the confidence with my years of traveling abroad that I will get it but I was denial. Lol. So I really have knowledge of what they are looking for. If u av a good job with pension running for years, knowing u will be paid y final entitiment after years of service why will u risk it and stay is USA as illegal migrants, so dear friends this is what they consider well ps. Do your homework well and make research bf u think of applying for USA. No be in a rush to apply, jot as many information u can from goggle. Read the thread from part1 to de end, no get tired reading it, I know it is very long. Yes read and jot out relevant things that will help y case. Not just read ps jot and make reference to it when filling y application. I will still make out time to keep posting relevant things that USA need not just for us to come here and post transcript and ask questions, or ways on how to apply for visa. Yes we ask questions and we get reply but some of us still get denial after going throught these thread. Meanehile all these is very good, I have to say we are really trying alot in these forum. But we should also create out time to research and educate our selves more to know exactly what the meaning of their strong ties and explain in details. We hear from people that for USA once u av a job apply without telling u details of what they need in job. Yes many have come to these thread read, without jotting down relevant points, armed u might read and forget. It happened to me. My advice get a pen start from page one of this thread, read and jot ps. Ask questions, tell pple to go through y application well bf u submit. Listen to pple advice atimes, especially from experience pple. No go just meet any body to assist u, meet experience plple not agent ps. But atimes there are some good agent ps. I had one but I did not really follow some of the corrections he gave me. I was thinking my own is best. Ps d'nt be over confident with y self. Meet pple who av appy bf to put u through. I repeat again USA is not the same with UK application.

For those booking hotel reservation, it is good but they will still weight your job if the job can pay your hotel reservation.

For point of contact yes, they said if u d'nt know any body put hotel. But come to think of it for me I will still advice applicants that have friends in the USA to use their point of contact but please make sure the person have a right stay in USA and how the person take come USA, Very important. Why am I saying this is that USA need someone that can void for u. Hotel reservation can not give details about u. Hotel reservation that doesn't even know u. Some of their numbers are not going. So I think that point of contact matters to them. Yes they tell u use hotel or the shop etc. But they still consider it. The only people I advice to use hotel reservation as point of contact is those that d'nt even know any body there. But many of us have pple in USA but we are afraid not to complicate issue. (we still lie here) lol! Yes I understand but for point of contact use them and book hotel as where u will stay.

Then when the VO ask some of us questions we just make it short, I my self also did it from the advice I got from my friend, (Any thing the VO ask u just talk short) . Ps try to be friendly with them, make y interview fun not just stand there as a log of stick and keep answering short questions. Some of the VO might denial you visa bc of that even if u got all on u.

When asked why going to the USA, ps if u are going alone try to tell them u are going for your annual leave vacation. Or I am going for my annual leave vacation and to do some shopping.
Not just stand there and say tourism alone. Lol!
They are human like us give them good reason u are going to usa. Yes some have mentioned only tourism and they were given but their discussion overall will be fun to the VO, all these they put into consideration to evaluate us but we d'nt know. We just hear people telling us just give short ans, all na lie. Are u single yes, come on! friends d'nt just say I am single lady at 40, tell them I am single and getting engaged soon. Expect u know u are single and working as a manger in a bank. Yes I know that some single ladies av gotten visa and never said engaged but after evaluating them generally both their job , they give them. My advice u are engaged ps. I am not here to tell u to lie. NO! But this is packaging. The way we package for job interview is the way we go ahead and do for USA ps. I d'nt see anything wrong in it. Yes people tell u not to lie without telling u how to state y issue. For example some one that I was discussing about not putting months, she asked if she was asked about her proof, I just advice her try to make sure that u tell the VO u have years of experience in y previous job. But meanwhile some one is there telling her not to lie, but never go ahead to tell her other details. Ps if u are new in a job make sure u tell the VO about your previous work with years not months of experience ps. For those applying for 1st time in a new job and no previous job experience, ps I will advice u to wait for one year before u apply. Not after 6months of job confirmation u apply. No! Make sure u apply after one year u are employed, at least they will know u av stayed for one year and entitled for leave allowance. Applicants can only renew visa as they start a new job bc in the privious interview they stated their past employment and beside they VO knows they av gone to USA and come bk so they give they immediately when there is no problem of overstaying. But new applicants for the first time are really checked very well.

For married when asked why are u not traveling with your husband just tell them he is unable to get leave from work. For your hubby too they will ask u what he is doing and years of working for y hubby. USA people like big things o! No tell them say y hubby na trader. Lol! That one done reach to disqualify u. Lol! Arrange y hubby profile too incase he is not going with u. Lift y hubby up for them. No put y hubby for yeye way. Those USA people like big things. I de draw Una ear O! They no want who will come and follow them to share their national cake. Or to tell them that your hubby is not working currently. Lol u are on y own. Make them to know u av a good job with y hubby. Lift Una job up.

Lastly this people don't check documents o! So na wetin u fill and y interview they will judge u with. So friends package your self well and go take y visa ps. Friends told me on what to say when I get there but fear fear make me loss out. Say the correct things but package your self. Why u want to go to USA package y self like I have really had a hectic work stress this year and I decided to go for my annual vacation in the USA. That one no be packaged (lol) even if u never had hectic time at work. Make y interview fun abeg.

Sorry dear friends for this long message. It will really go along way to educate new applicants ps. USA visa is easy to get when u do y home work well. I thank God I have gone and know my mistakes and working hard on it and not to allow others to make the same mistake.

Lesson learnt for my first visa application.
Never be over confident that u will get the visa bc u av plenty travel history. People tell u no worry with your traveling history they will give u without telling u what USA people really want.

Lesson2 try to be friendly to the VO. Vo: Goodmoring, tell him good morning and how is work? It makes their day.

Lesson3 : no just stand there as log of wood just answering yes or no without been smart to tell the VO why yes or no. Because VO no know wetin De y mind, na de thing u tell them they juge u with. Never assume he surpose to know. Explain to him.

Moreso this person tell u say I did not do this doing my own or did not mention this. Try to package your self ps. Leave other people and and do y package for your own self. Anything u know that can implicate u remove it, no allow anybody tell u put it because u must be honest at all time. No! Me I d'nt agree to that. The only thing I know d'nt lie on y age, your profile just parckage y self well and go pick y USA visa
thanks so much, please can you throw more light on business people.

I bless the name of the almighty God who made today possible. I want to specially appreciate the creator and the good people of this thread who take out time to share, post information and help people out .My journey to dubia was not without its upheaval but I thank God it was worth the effort.
I came in October last year. I tried my best in combing all parts of dubai for invites, walk in interview, cv submission and online drill but none yielded AS and WHEN anticipated.
Went for visa change in mid january and the search continues not giving up (though financially and emotionally, I was illiquid). Fast forward to March 5th, I got a call for an interview and alas i resumed the next day! I met my boss in person a week after resumption and he explicitly gave the terms of the contract; a(that all intending staff must go( and by confirmation from staffs, it is the norm for all nationalities there) for visa change after which he will consider doing employment visa. b(that he will observe for a month before giving a conditional offer letter), c(that he wonโ€™t be financially committed to my visa change)
I became very worried with all these conditions given I was qualified for the job. I consulted friends and from these platform also( the igwe himself and leo). It became a decision between the devil and the deep blue sea.
I finally opted to giving it a short, and was still applying online. A week after, I told my boss that the conditions doesnโ€™t favor me that I want to leave. He said thatโ€™s the modus operandi here, either I am down or I take a walk. Then, I became so worried but stayed.
I never discussed again with my boss on this, neither did he too. Until on the day the accountant informed me I would be going for my medicals the next dayโ€ฆ.. Apparently my employment visa has been applied and approved prior to my tourist expiration. And while signing my offer letter, my job offer blows my mind (well above what I bargained). Other staffs are still in awe that I did not go for the ritual visa change of the company. All this could only have been God. My special thanks to my sister for her unflinching support. Big shout out to Nattybanta and Leosir for their support .

N.B : I want to encourage someone out there, that your dream is possible if you are resilient, strong at heart and believe in God .

Never rely on friends for financial support. Do come prepared!!!!

Stay blessed All.

MY SUCCESS STORY.
I have been on ghost mood in this forum ever since I landed in Dubai, waiting for a day like this to share my joy with all.
I applied for Dubai Visa on 7th of January 2018 through a kid brother(agent) and it came out on the 16th of February after much verbal fight. I downloaded PCC online, did the tomb print and waybill it to Lagos to be signed and stamped (6k), it was done n waybill back to me the next day and I collected it on the 3rd day. I went straight to Abuja n did all the necessary authentication (PCC and my degree), booked a flight to fly from Abuja. On the 3rd of march, I got to the Abuja airport at 4pm and went to Emirates airline checking points, all my documents were complete but no hotel reservations. I tried to bribe my way in with 1k but staff at the point got angry with for trying to insult them with 1k, that I give them a reasonable amount. I left them, when to a cyber cafรฉ upstairs, did the reservation for 2k, came back and was allowed in for other checks.
The checks were simple and I boarded, took off 7pm Nigerian time and landed at 4am Dubai time. At the airport, I changed $200 and was waiting for my so called agent to come n pick me. I used my Nigerian line to call his number at the rate of 200naira per minute n 60naira per minutes to receive calls. At the end, he asked to enter the yellow plate number cabs with meter which I did. He asked me to give the driver my phone so he can direct him where to take me to. when we got to the place, I got down n my charge was saying 50dirhams and immediately, I converted it to naira... 5k! for a distance I can treck? no wahala na abroad I don come so ooo.
When I got to my accommodation building, the guy kept me standing outside for over 2hrs, gisting. At the end he told me that I should bring money for my bed space, 150$. He went up n paid, the room owner gave me a balance of 80dirhams n I asked why because I was expecting 50$ or its equivalent but said he too 100dirhams for dewa, kitchen n WiFi which I later found out was my agent's(my brother o) commission for bringing me to the room(In Dubai, no brother, no friend).
My first heartbreak was when I finally entered d 11x11 room with more than 13men in it and they showed me my space under d bed, 2nd was when I saw bedbugs dancing skelewo on my bed, tears dropped from my eyes. I. Star end thinking of going back to 9ja but d thought of what I have spent already reset my brain immediately. I spent 2 days thinking of my life and the abroad I have come to. I got a friend who was consoling n advising me. until I started eating on the 3rd day.
I got to know that 90% of all these non career jobs in Dubai bought with money, either agent ask you for money or the employer. With my quick study I understood that everyone in Dubai is an agent, just to inform u where they are conducting interview or a number to call, they ask for agency fee. I noticed that the jobs that can pay the level of salary I want to start with are not available even with agent's fee. so I registered for Sira(DPS) and went for the training n kept submitting CVs online. I got some interview invitation n after passing, they will ask for between 300k to 850k. I was like... after spending over 1m for visa,Pre employment medical 35k@ karama) SIRA courses, flight, POD course at Dubai police academy etc, I will still pay such a huge amount to get a job I did d interview?
On 24th of March at about 10am, a friend forwarded to me an interview that will hold that day at 11am. I was reluctant to go because I didn't apply, I was not called nor texted to come and it was almost the time for the interview but my guy insisted that I should go n try my luck. I had to go just to please him. I got to the venue at Al Qouz at abt 2pm and wrote my name on the list. number was 149. After d interview, I was selected because I have all the requirements n certificates. I submitted all the requirements n was asked to pay 1500dirhams via assurance fee(refundable after 6months) I paid and was issued a receipt as regards to that. NOTE: I paid because I was dealing with the company direct and in their head office. I signed my agreement n submitted my passport on the d 28th of April, the next day the manager travelled home(Philippine) and my visa process was not treated. the Indian that took over from him dropped our files, started telling us stories and was busy treating his brothers files.
The Philippine manager finally came back last week, called me on Sunday 22nd to sign my off letter and today being Monday 23 to come n take my EMPLOYMENT VISA and go for medicals for Emirates ID!
Note: I NEVER MISSED MY PRAYERS, DAY N NIGHT. IT HAS BEEN GOD.
congratulations.
