Adeboye cannot tell us that blocking major highways completely and defyin curfew is peaceful protest. Soldiers that went to Lekki toll gate did not go there to stop protest, protesters have been there for over 2 weeks, they went there to enforce a curfew. I condemn live bullets but that was the only option available to the gov't seeing how violence have taken over the protest. What do you expect a gov't to do when policemen are being killed, police stations being burnt etc. They had to find the easy way out. We need law and order for now. In 2023 we will be wise enough to choose a better President.

In my opinion, if all the G.Os of these big churches can't go to protest ground, they should hire careters to cook, load the food in Vans and direct them to different locations of the protest to feed the youths. By so doing, they won't get tired fighting. They should also direct all their big branches to do same in their localities.

While the destruction of Odi & Zakibiam during his regime was quite painful & may be uncalled for, the fact remains that some bad elements of Odi town caused the havoc. Recall that about 7 Federal Policemen sent to arrest one of the miscreants were murdered, buried on shall graves and cassava planted over their graves. The miscreants were entreated to at least release their dead bodies for a befitting burial all to no avail. That was how the Late General Malu was asked to lead the Nigerian Army to that place. I am not saying that decision was good as many innocent people lost their lives & property. It is a sad episode but Obj did not just woke up one morning and acted from the blue. I had investors who came to Nigeria for a project we have been working on for long. They arrived Abuja and we flew to Owerri Airport, we took a taxi to go to the town to visit a Govt official in his office, the SARS in conjunction with local Agberos confronted and stopped the vehicle along the way, they told the driver to bring particulars.
They said his papers was complete but he was carrying oyinbo people and he must settle them with N10K, he refused and they kept us on the road, I didn't know how to tell the foreigners that they were asking for bribe after we had assured them that the country has changed under Buhari administration, they threatened us with their guns putting fear into our guests.
It took the intervention of the Govt official we were supposed to meet who called the DPO of Owerri Central Police station to send a team with Hilux to the scene for us to go, by then they were already agitated, they couldn't concentrate on our mission, they felt the investment climate in Imo State was not secure and they left with millions of dollars to be invested in the project and the jobs that would have been created for the youths.
How do you think they will go home and encourage anyone to visit Nigeria on tourism?

Thank you my brother. I had similar experience in Ibadan though not SARS. We lost the contract right away as the foreigners were so scared.

It is a political gimmick and may not stand if taken up legally? Has the employee being formally queried? Who investigated the matter? How was the investigation carried out? Supposing the guy was caught in the crowd? How do they expect him to escape without being hurt. Let the guy get a good lawyer like Femi Falana, Olisa Agbakoba, etc and sue the Company. I listened to Tunde Ednut's little interview with Omoyele Sowere and Sowore mentioned something that shook me. He said the reason for revolution that took place in France, 1798, was as simple as the increase in the price of bread. This got me thinking.
Initially, I felt Nigerians just wanted to endsars simply because they didn't like being harassed on road and couldn't see the bigger picture that the government was the one behind the unhygienic situation of affairs in Nigeria, that they were channeling their anger wrongly.

After listening to Sowore who said the French Revolution went from 'increase price of bread' to 'we want the heads of our misleaders', I was convinced that this endsars protest could lead to something even greater. I was expecting to hear more of #presidentstepdown by now but we shall see.
