Do not forget the shooter is not gbajas employee but that of the dss and more so a civil servant. If you must sue or put things in writing, The dss is who you must meet. [/quote ]Good talk my brother. By sueing Gbaja, the case is loss as he was not the one that killed the guy. And even if they sue DSS & won, will they pay the fine? Recall Fela's & other Nigerians similar experience in the hand of Law enforcement Agencies.

But Lagos did that with Kebbi the other time.

Moreso Lagos is also building Imota rice mill if I’m not wrong and they should be able to collaborate with Ogun state with rice plantation for example.

I’m pretty sure there will be other aspect of agricultural collaboration that the government will be working on that I have no knowledge about.
And what was the result? When last did you see LAKE rice in the market? How many youth wants to stay on the farm these days? Continue to deceive yourself.
PoliticsRe: Fashola: APC’s Zoning Agreement Should Be Respected In 2023 by joefelin2345: 8:54am On Nov 25, 2020
If there is indeed a gentleman agreement at the formation of APC, this should be respected no matter who is involved. Agreement is bounded on earth & in heaven. That was the greatest mistake GEJ made by jettisoning the one he had with the North prior to 2015 election.

How many millions voted Shagari in as President & how many soldiers removed him thru a coup? Be guided and don't be stupid. You only need an..active minority ...to remove a not performing govt. Check the history of most revolution all over the world.

PoliticsRe: Ifeanyichukwu Okereke's Family Demands ₦500 Milion From Gbajabiamila by joefelin2345: 8:14am On Nov 25, 2020
ceaser:
Well, that's the least he could do and even though it is not enough to bring back the dead, he should be generous enough to acceed to their demands. I mean, look at that baby that was denied knowing his father.

If justice should be served well, that trigger happy DSS monthly salary and his gratuity and pensions when he retires should be slashed in half and released to the victim's family on monthly basis. That's the way it's done in saner climes. This should form a percentage of the 500 million naira.

I know a medical doctor here in Nigeria who pays monthly stipend to a family and also pays the school fees of the child who lost the mother during childbirth in the his hospital. This was not even deliberate o, just an unfortunate malpractice incident that led to maternal death.

So a murder by a DSS official should carry weightier responsibility.

Please stop this. They lost a life, a breadwinner, a source of hope for the family and a father to that little child. There is nothing that is enough address that tragic loss in the immediate term.

Truly life isn't always fair to everyone equally. But as a privileged person, you need to be extra careful that your actions or inactions do not add to the already compounded problems of the less privileged. And if by happenstance, it does by mistake, then please make sure you take responsibilities for such especially when you know that you can afford such responsibility.

In saner climes, contrary to what happens in Nigeria, the less privileged are always protected. That is the oil that lubricates national unity, human development and justice. What your post up there suggests is simply encouraging the oppression of the poor by the rich which unfortunately is what holds sway in Nigeria. It has even formed part of your personal value and that is why you see nothing wrong with condemning that family for the lawsuit against gbaja.

If Gbajabiamila as a speaker does not earn much, I'm sure the suit wouldn't have demanded that much. But since the politicians in this country feed fat on the citizens, it is only fair that he also pays a chunk as damages, although I know they may eventually settle to something like 150 mil.
Supposedly the vendor died due to natural causes, who would they have sued? Just asking ooooo.

Exactly my thought and people are here insulting her without proper findings.
I am not surprised by their outburst on Kemi Olunloyo most Nigerians react before the reason. The woman accused CNN. Let the CNN defend itself. People were saying that the so called massacre in Lekki on October 20, 2020 was a ruse yet dead bodies were allegedly being kept in different hospitals & floating on water around that time. Let's the truth be told my people.

Justice is contesting the primaries in a free and fair manner. Obasanjo contested PDP ticket against Alex Ekwueme and defeated the Flattino hands down. That is Justice. No one or party will zone the presidnetial ticket to your village or family house. Come out and contest with others or float your candidate under your regional party APGA after all we Yorubas too presented Olu Falae under our party AD.

Imagine Yorubas presenting two of our sons in two different parties while others are wailing and crying. Sense will not kill us.
That's a fact. Power they say is not served on an Ala carte or Table dot bases. MKO Abiola sacrificed his life for this Democracy. That's y the two big Political parties zoned the Presidency to the SW in 1999. Even then the late Gov. Abubakar Rimi still contested the PDP primaries with Obj. Let's history guide us accordingly pls.

Thank you my brother. The guy is so arrogant & full of himself. See how LAUTECH ownership was amicably resolved by matured Governors. He was an impediment right from the start. Is it not the sitting Governor that is more qualified to organise the so called 10 years of Progressive rules in Osun State? That is part of the problems that the country is facing by such people in power. Tell me his achievements so far as the Minister of Interior? Rubbish.
PoliticsRe: Olubadan Saliu Aje-Ogunguniso Visits Tinubu (Photo) by joefelin2345: 9:11am On Nov 23, 2020
Visited him for what? To commiserate with him for his loss during EndSARS protest or to beg for money? That is y many Yoruba are now accusing their Obas of being responsible for the backwardness of SW. Such visit is even making the politician to be getting more arrogant every day.

Yoruba over accommodation of foreigners on their soil has always been the origin of our undoing

Only in yoruba land is a foreigner allowed to run for political office and win as I have never seen any other tribe as magnanimous to such a pedigree in the entire Nigeria history

Imagine an unrest on yoruba land where majority of the actors and participants are non yoruba, a gesture which can never be reciprocated by any tribe by allowing yoruba uncontained access on their soil

There should be a limit accommodating foreigners as hardly would a Yoruba forment trouble on other tribes soil as much as other tribes does on yoruba land

Yoruba must wake up, as the farmland can not belong to both the father and son without boundary. When slaves are given unfettered access similar to a true born, the slave would soon stand in attempt to tell story of the clan
Honestly you are correct though other people may feel otherwise. My prayer and wish is for the Yoruba to just forget their differences & come together before it is too late. Late SL A Akintola's wishes that Yoruba should be encouraged to participate in the Govt of National Unity in 1959 caused his death by the Igbo. Chief Awolowo's quest to rule Nigeria with a view to transform it to a first world peradventure made him to support Gowon Military Regime rather than agitating for Yoruba seccesion in 1967. Chief MKO Abiola was murdered despite the fact that he embraced every part of Nigeria while he was alive. It is time for the Yoruba to really face the ugly truth & stop playing BBN.

Tinubu is a man with flaws but if you don't understand the dynamics of nigerian politics you'll feel that he's hated among the yoruba....compared to other god fathers who have come from yorubaland he's still the best...and even members in SW opposition respect him. Besides he created a road map for Lagos, and even though a thief he's investing it in his own state unlike most south east leaders
You are correct to some extent my brother & I dove my hat for you . What I am always frown at is the so called...Yoruba ronu...which was coined by late Hubert Ogunde which Orin ote to a large extent. I agreed that the political dynamics is not static but even then what we are witnessing on daily basis is more of looting our Commonwealth by the so call leaders. I stand to be corrected. Look at the whole SW even where APC is ruling? What can we say has been their tangible achievements over the years if we want to be honest to ourselves?

"any attack against the former Lagos State Governor is an attack on the entire Yoruba people."

hmmm Yoruba Ronu
This is fallacy pls. Tell me what an average Yoruba most especially in the rural areas has benefited from him for over 20 years that he has been claiming to be their leader. It is only some boot lickers that has been benefitting from his crumbs. Even the so called political leaders that were claimed to have been raised, what has been their effects to the SW safe for looting its Commonwealth. Our farms had been & still being destroyed by the Fulani Heard men & bandits. What has been his reaction to this? Mrs Olakunri the daughter of Pa Fasoranti was murdered by Fulani bandit, how did he react to that gruesome murder when he visited Akure to commiserate with Pa Fasoranti? Recently the Army fired shots to peaceful protesters at Lekki Tollgate, how did he react to that. For your information, PMB lead other Fulani leaders to confront Late Lam Adesina in Ibadan in 2002 on the pretence that the Yoruba in Oke Ogun were the one killing the Fulani by then. He was thoroughly embarrassed when he was confronted with facts & figures. Even Akibtola that most Yoruba hates was a defender of Yoruba Nations hence the popular saying tha...Kaka ki Yoruba dobale fun Gambari, onikaluku aya she tie lototo ni i.e. rather than the Yoruba prostrate to a Northerner, everyone may just go its own way. Even at the height of his fight with Awolowo, the man was still agitating for equal participation in the Natiobal polity. Tell me Tinubu position that favour most Yoruba safe for his stooges. Good day.

God bless you my brother. The other time Obj as the president of Nigeria set up a Panel of Enquiry headed by Late Justice Oputa. At least three eminent personalities refused to appear before it. Nothing happened to them. One even later became a Head of State. So what's the big deal if the NA refused to honour the panel invitation this time around?
