MegaMan2020: I like the idea. Like it or not Ifa is still very much part of Yoruba culture (out in the open or behind closed doors.) Yorubas are the most tolerant people in the World when it comes to religion. You will never see Yorubas arguing in the middle of the street about religion.I wish this tolerance will extend to language..... Yorubas are very good at insulting foreigners with their language, plot evil before ur face in their language, even against a colleague in the same office.... Anyway preservation of cultural heritage is a good idea. |
nagoma: Same as decaffeinated coffee. Or intimacy with condom.LoLZZZZZZZZZZZZ...... Are u saying there is no intimacy with condom ?Anyway, if it is not beer, then it is not beer...... Find another name! |
I will be insulting myself to beliv that GEJ did this. It MUST be an act by those mischief makers to sabotage the current administration and it seems to be working. U guys should look beyond the ordinary. God bless Nigeria |
alakid: I am from the north central, I'm for one Nigeria but let it be known that we are not afraid of leaving behind Nigeria for our own country, and let it be known that the whole concept of middle-belt is overrated. There is no clearly demarcated map, and the people are still as different as white and black. So once again I say to all ye that stay in the comfort of your home and write critisms of the north, know that we do not benefit from crude oil proceeds, what has a tomato farmer in sokoto gotten from so called oil? Govt does not subsidize his fertilizer, he buys fuel at higher than market value (international) and there is no social security or welfare of any kind. This is the best thing i have ever heard from a northerner on this forum. If only u will revolt against ur own leaders instead of bombing Christians, maybe things will get better.... I have been to many parts of the north; The poor are VERY poor and the rich VERY rich.... The middle class hardly exists |
Whether good or Bad, Naija ALL THE WAY..... God Bless Nigeria. We have got no other country.... So best wishes to the Super Eagles of Nigeria. |
Generally, the country as a whole must shun laziness and become more active esp in the production/manufacturing sector. As for the additional 10%, a visit to the ND areas will convince u because they cant even cultivate anything, can't fish, no drinking water...... I think they deserve more. However, i doubt if Nigeria's oil resources lie in Her control. |
bknight:If u are a Christian, u will remember what the book of Hebrew says; "No one takes this honour upon himself but all are called as Aaron was" |
bilms: You didnt answer the question. Mention just 3 things fashola has done to favor the masses,or even one.The way Nigeria is noow, most policies that will benefit Nigeria will first be painful to the masses, but in the long run, will be good..... This is because Nigerians have become so used to abnormal situations. So has Fashola pleased the masses? Maybe not. But has he done laudable things? Yes..... Does He deserve to be a president? Yes... Atleast am sure he will do better than....... |
DrugDoc: How many corrupt catholics or anglicans have been kicked out of the church for looting or maiming Africans? Is Maurice Iwu not a staunch catholic? Why do our people troop to these churches when they can't contribute to solving our fundamental problems? Let's keep blaming GEJ, he will perform brain surgery on each and every 150 million Nigerians to get them to think.Nobody has the right to pursue anyone from the Church. |
Given that he is a "man of God".... It is not in our power to talk of his removal. May God who appointed him lead him or remove him if He deems it fit.... Shalom to all men of Peace |
searay: Marriage? God forbidPlease, why dont u wanna marry.... ? |
Which year has never been tough for Nigerians? Maybe this year's toughness has touched CPC.... That means only one thing... There is a perfect correlation between subsidy removal and CPC's FINANCE To liberate a country like Nigeria from the influence of those corrupt wealthy nigerians, no one should expect a Jolly -Good ride. |
Ganys: AFAM, You fall my hands Big time, are you interested in his profile and track records cum CV abi na religion concern you, Can his being a CHRISTIAN put a cup of Garri on ya tablePlease spare us the pretence..... In this case, both Profile and Religion are important..... Though a deputy has "no power", there will be a sense of inclusion. |
I just wonder... Why has she been made the scape goat. Maybe other MDAs that have recruited in the Last 2years should be checked as well..... I guess crime is never allowed when committed by Igbos.... |
This is a big fallacy, a biased insult to other nollywood actresses.... Anyway can someone post her pix..... Who is she? I have this feeling she is beautifuly ugly. |
This means there are plenty Behind-the -scene things happening in NFF.... Keshi make sure you are being objective... Nigeria deserves the best. |
kheart: are u blind? Ibos plenty pass any other tribe abi na my eye dey tell me lies?It is not whether he is Igbo or not... The team needs his impact. However best wishes to the team..... Cos failure is not an option this time.... |
Flyboy Zee: Lest I forget, CONGRATULATIONS! to the men who has chosen to lay down their lives for a country, whose leaders and citizens alike do not and will never ever appreciate their sacrifice. As much as i appreciate ur positivity, my problem is that many of our Policemen take on this sacred duty without intergrity thereby making a mockry of the so called "sacrifice". The one i hate most is when they boldly collect money from motorists who barely make enough each day. Shalom |
where is Joel Obi..... Guess Keshi is being sentimental |
cyril83: A possessive person can never date a possessive person so therefore i am one myself and am okay with it, if you can't abide by my rules then get d f*ck outI feel being Possessive is a natural thing, it can be managed but not completely eliminated..... I will appreciate a "Possessively Caring" lady. |
He has the right to exercise his civic right.... OH yes, he can contest. @ poster please dont talk of integrity because if someone can't keep his words, where then is his honour.... At the end of each election he has always promised never to contest again. Yet we still hear someone campaigning only in the north but wants to rule the entire nation... TRUTH is..... It is a big Insult to Nigeria, if Buhari is the Best she can produce as a leader in the 21st century....... Guess this is part of his feasibility/opinion pull.... In that case sir, Go and settle the "little fight" in the north or at least contribute your own quota... Maybe u may once again be called a Statesman. |
@ poster: please clarify..... You gave praises to God. Is it that you believe in God and not in His Son (Jesus Christ).... Or any of the messengers/prophets. |
mruknaijaboy: did he just say use an air freshner to neutrilize your body odourhearing ?? So this web has audio abi ![]() If u want to correct someone, u may have to start from urself. |
Mr..Cork:You have succeeded in listing ADDITIONAL qualifications..... Guy Naija babes want MOneY. Some will baptize it as FINANCIAL secUriTYY |
aurenflani: As for you - nothing for your hypocracy but disappointment because clearly you don't know that the army are not dealing in religious bigotry.A man fights for what he believes in. There is very high probability that a muslim soldier may decide to "fight for Allah". Dont u think so? |
1025: if u ask me, i will suggest that jonathan should stop talking as many nigerians are not interested in his flexible words. he changes like the wind. he says what he doesn't do. why did he sack two igbo pdp chairmen in succession without any valuable reasons? why is his vice from the north?why is his state getting more money from the oil revenue than others? why are the militants getting armnesty and the kidnappers and boko haram are not getting? why did his wife left aso rock to germany to get treatment while his brother left bayelsa to die in aso rock? nigeria was not one, is not one and will never be one.please your arguement lacks coherence...... This is a policy that will enforce unity, patriotism and true federalism.... I hope u are not an aboki shaa |
please in real terms no money has been saved by mere closure of Accounts... since the Accounts do not attract COT unless there are hidden facts yet to be disclosed . |
Efemena_xy: The responses to this thread are all hogwash! This is a logical error. That it happens on nairaland does not make it right. The fact remains that; -if your partner starts online flirting, then there is a VOID which has to be closed -He/she is already cheating cos he/she is satisfying that desire online. The probability that he/she will eventually do the real thing is 99.9 percent. |
idirect: Nobody should compare these two gentlemen with GEJ and GMB. Romney lost a free and fair election but GMB lost a free but not fair election per sayplease expantiate.... What makes you feel the election was not fair. |
crackhaus: My top 3 factors in identifying a sexy lady, I call it the 3C's:rather sounds like qualities of a "marriable Lady" |
rexfada: Money can buy a criminal freedomthat can happen in anyother part of the world |
