Does visa on arrival work for Nigerians visiting Vietnam? I was invited for a brief visit and the hosting organization applied for a VOA for me which has been approved and letter sent but I just want to double check if I will be allowed to travel. Thank you

Thank you. This afternoon, i emailed the ministry of Foreign affairs and members of cabinet of the Ministry, i copied the consul and the ambassador expressing my disappointment in very harsh tone. The ambassador just got off the phone with me.. be like me i go collect my passport this Saturday o.. and be like e go be home delivery. I told the ambassador that you cant just be messing with everybody.. i don vex abeg..

Well,i submitted on 20th March.. Opted for DHL and up till this moment, DHL website refused to update. And i mean what date did they write as date of issue? i am not asking for duration.. because i am trying to keep track of how long it takes to move from their consulate in Lagos to Abuja because they are f*ck**g wasting my time!

great! Congrats.. did you submit in Lagos or Abuja? was it DHL pickup or You went to TLS? and so sorry to ask, what was the date of issue on the Visa?

For real? I applied on January 03rd, travel date was yesterday but till this moment no outcome on my application yet.

Update!
Arrived South Africa at 5:30am this morning.
E visa had a separate check which involve capture, finger print scan, and stamp on my passport.
After which I proceded to my final destination.
Please both site for e-visa provide by the group are genuine and verifiable. Infact most of us were with the 87 dollar application. There was never issue with it at all.

There’s probably an internal issue or they are simply overwhelmed with applications. All in all, we can now conclude that VFS evisa processing time is no longer predictable. One can only wait for the outcome. Nothing more to do, sadly.

It would be e-DHA! People should avoid that platform for now. It has so many errors

The processing time window has not elapsed. According to VFS, processing time is 5-10 working days so, you shouldn’t be expecting an outcome until 30 Jan 2023. I would even recommend giving them 15 working days before you begin to worry.

Also, don’t allow one applicant’s delayed outcome affect you or scare you as each person’s application is different. Until there are numerous complaints about the processing time, let’s not conclude that the VFS evisa process has caught the disease of the walk-in process . Note that people generally come to this platform to express their concerns. Those that have secured their evisa won’t be bothered unless a few who would be willing to share the good news here (and I mean only a handful). So don’t panic!
