Is it our appointment letter or is it a letter specially design 4 it(medical/police report). Here is a letter someone told me was to be downloaded and used for d processing. you dont need to download any later. make sure u go to the accredited clinic with ur passport, passport photograph and the money. best wishes

olanrewaju76: Good day house. This government shutdown is something else ooo. I went to the social security administration in cincinnati a day b4 the shotdown. I was told I need to be at least 15days old in the country before I can apply cos as at that time my data has not been uploaded by the department of homeland security. The following day comes the goverment shot down and things stood still since then. Without social security no work, no driver's lisence and no medical insurance. Please what is your experience like with this government shotdown?

men am goin thru same challenge here in texas too, dont know wat to do. i was told to wait for 21days. but am just waitin for d shutdown to be called off den i will try anoda office.

just too annouce dat i made it intos. texas today. the trip was 22hrs. 7hrs plus to dubai and 15hrs dubia to dallas.

Please people, I tried making da green card payment and there was no place for me to enter d pin, hope no sweat?

- Is the visa fee going to be paid on spot (visa interview day)?

- What is the acceptable currency (US Dollar or Naira)?

- Do we need to do ay pre-medical examination or test before the mail medical examination.

U can pay on or before ur interview date; although lots of peeps here on dis forum paid on da interviewing date.
U can pay in dollars(like myself) or in da naira equivalent. As for da medicals, I will advice u to wait for ur 2nl before u do cos it expires after 6months. Remember u av to travel before d medical expires.

Please if you have had my experience or know someone who has had such, please contribute solutions to my problem and fears, thank you: I sent my forms 122 and 230 to the kcc office via dhl express servive in june 2013 and up untill now, i have not heard from them. I have been checking the email inbox that i used. This is 3 months after, Please Pals is this Normal, and how long maximum is it suppose to take before i get a reply for my visa number and date of interview? Thanks for anticipated responses.

my dear friend u did not mention the DV year (2013 or 2014). Also ur case number range was nt captioned in ur message.
Well, all I know is dat u will be scheduled for interview. In my case (2013), I sent d forms november 2012 and I got my 2NL june 2013. So don't panic, just drop ur case number ranger (ie 2013AF00018***) den am sure d gurus in d house will come to ur aids.

@egbon morgan and other gurus in da house pls bail me out here. I need to know ao to monitor my visa so I don't go to d address and asked to check back due to d extreme nature of my current job. God favoured I and my family and we av five days to pick up d visas.

Secondly, please for 2014 and those awaiting 2013 interview, the CO understands dat dere are lots of errors in d application process, so just be bold and explain any error. If u are married get d pix ready and be ready to defend ur points. Also, never forget prayers cos God can do more dan u can imagine.

my wife's place of birth was wrongly captured durin application but we defended it during our interview and the CO smile and said "well it was just on d application" we were granted so cheers and let not ur hearts be troubled.

Nothing serious dear. Just questions like ao did we meet? Wen aand pix. We showed dem all. She also was confused dat we wrote 2011 as marriage year but d court cert was 2012. We explained dat it was last year dat we decided to do d registry tins. Just be confident.

Got to d embassy 5:30am with my wife and my 10month old daaughter, aall protocols observed, paid 990$ for d three of us. Waited until our number showed on window 16.
Me: gud morning maam and ao has ur day been?
CO (excited): o great! Wat abt urs?
Me and wife: fine ma
CO: highest qualification
Me:bla bla bla
CO: wen did u finish high school (with a smile she said secondary school)
Me: laffed and said I know....blbla bla
CO: ao long did u know ur wife before marriage?
Me and wife: bla bla bla
After some questions, she den said my wife filled ikeja as place of birth on application and filled yaba later on d forms.
Me and wife: no no no ....dat can't be true, there is a mix up.
CO: so sorry it is a mistake
We: ok
Picked d two papers, the rest is history

anjolaoluwadv13: @joexploit,ithink the best thing to do is to have an int'l passport that carries her husband surname if you still have the time.I had to go for a new passport too to cut off any form of delay on the day of the interview since this fiscal year is almost gone.Let her do a change of name that will be placed on a national daily,which you will take with you to immigration office for a new passport.Make sure its a VIP processing u are doing that will come out in two days.Cheers!

Yea we av d change of name published on punch newspaper after our wedding. But my worry is will d immigration office do another epassport for us? I will call my contact right away bro. Thanks

genlion: House,dis is very urgent. A family frend of six won and he as for once reshedulE their interview becos dey could nt raise the whhole money for the six of them. Now their interview is tumorow, and they are yet to get the money and dey can nt reshedule again. Pls wat can they do. I need response as soon as possible.

3. Court registry certificate 2012 dec after winning.
4. School cert with my ogbonga 5credits
5.FSLC confirmed
6. Medical (weekend hopefully)
7.Police record (next week hopefully)

Wife to is fully prepared with all her docs

Baby too is prepared with her passport and birth cert (my little daughter with only two docs *wink*)

Am one of da lucky ones for 2013. Interview is august. Am going with my wife, my daughter(9months old) and above all GOD.
