Tactically, both PDP and APC will be in Wikes hands.

Throwback: All would be carried along.
Unlike Buhari who forgets immediately he receives, Tinubu remembers long after he has received.
Despite the many opportunities to do so, Wike and Fayose had never derided or denigrated the person of Bola Tinubu.
Except for the initial squabble that Fayose had with Tinubu when both were still Governors and Tinubu visited Ekiti state without a customary protocol notification to Fayose.
It was Gov Gbenga Daniel of Ogun State that settled the matter then. I'm not a politician but I've learnt so many things from Asiwaju..Hes worthy to be emulated..lts only the opposition that is scared of him.I pray his government favors all Nigerians. |

They are not in Nigeria to drill oil alone. |

okeysoninv: contribution as how , do you know how much oil mobile drills a day. Multiply for example 300,000 barrel × $80 * 365days. You are getting in tune of $6b. How much revenue are they making in Lagos? Will they drill on weekends too?On public holidays? Days of unrest in the Niger Delta? Oil distribution is throughout the country and they have investments besides oil rigs.Check the attached to have an idea.

funshint: https://study.com/learn/lesson/british-monarchy-powers-roles.html Thank you. It means the monarchy shares power with the prime minister just the way Azikwe shared power with Tafawa Balewa in the first republic. For any bill in the UK, the King's accent is needed to make it a law. With this, it means the monarchy still performs a constitutional role though limited. |

What is paid to states where they drill? The only thing paid to LASG is income tax for STAFF LIVING IN Lagos State Staff pay tax based on where they live Company tax goes to the Federal government Please try to comprehend my posts. |

BloomingDale: All taxes must go to where they are drilling and wrecking the environment. Paying partial taxes is not good enough. Calm down... don't be emotional....As per the drilling, they pay taxes to the relevant agencies in the state of operation ...If they are not, hold your state governments responsible. All these oil companies are not into drilling alone. They are usually conglomerates and they operate outside the south and that is why they have offices outside the south-south. An example is Mobil..Mobil has filling stations in every state in Nigeria, they have assets like a farm tank in Apapa, they sell aviation fuel and the largest market will be either Lagos or Abuja, they produce lubricants.. fact they make more money selling their lubricants, and marketing of their other products than selling oil. |

Some may have been withdrawn or amended but the British monarchy still performs a constitutional role. The head of the British monarchy is her head of the armed forces which is a sort of constitutional role. Being head of the commonwealth is a constitutional role too. |

BloomingDale: Resource Control for South South, please. Hope the South South Governors take note. We have to take control of our resources to develop our region.
Any oil company not paying taxes to South South should be booted out of the region. Let them go drill their oil wherever they are paying their taxes to.
Any banks, companies etc operating in your region and not paying taxes should be booted out too. Priorities should be given to regional companies, banks etc etc. let’s all develop all region.
I ❤️ restructuring. If you know about taxation, you will know that those oil companies and banks with presence in south south states pay taxes there too. Don't be emotional.. |

Throwback: Those guys really performed for APC.
Despite wining only 2 out of 7 states there, Tinubu still managed to finish with the highest vote for that region and the highest regional vote for the whole of Nigeria at over N2.6m votes.
Atiku won Sokoto, Kebbi, Katsina, Kaduna. Kwankwaso won Kano Tinubu won Zamfara and Jigawa
However, Tinubu finished a very strong 2nd place in all the other 4 states he lost, and while finishing a distant 2nd to NNPP in Kano, he was able to also give a good gap to PDP that finished 3rd.
That gap of over 380K votes that APC gave PDP in Kano is all that mattered to ensure that Tinubu defeated Atiku with over 300K votes in the NorthWest. I swear ..They have bragging rights. |

Ghostwon82221: Actually if I recall, the head of the British government is the prime minister, not the monarch. But indeed the monarch does have a constitutional role. I made my comment in a context, the person whom I was replying claimed that first class monarchs were inferior to LG chairmen because of chairmen paid their "salaries". I showed an example of an "LG chairman" paying the "salary" of a monarch whom is clearly not inferior to the "LG chairman"
I really wonder if you guys do have brains. It is as if I were talking to teenagers here. You are the one that can't support your claim with fact unless you insult others..Anyway, this is part of the power the British monarchy has which is constitutional unlike Oba of Benin without constitutional role..I will not dignify you with any response afterward.

Ghostwon82221: As I keep telling you, the monarchs are not civil servants ! They are not members of the post colonial government! Is this so hard to understand? See, in the colonial era, some kings were given constitutional power. Now, they don't have it anymore...They are seriously begging for it. If you look at kings with an entourage, anywhere they are going, You will see local government vehicle with them, LG provides security for them and LG maintain their palaces. |

Ghostwon82221: For your information, with badly educated Nigerians, I have to repeat my self many times, first class monarchs are not civil servants ! They do not belong to the government ranking! They are the leaders of the precolonial governments of the region. I don't know what happens in some strange States, but in Edo state, the emperor certainly doesn't report to LG chairmen. Does Benin King have any constitutional role? |
Politics › Re: Emir Of Kano Aminu Ado Bayero Visits President-Elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu by Jogs1900: 8:00pm On Apr 27, 2023 |
Ghostwon82221: First of all, it is not a salary, they are not workers, they are monarchs, it is an allowance' Second of all, the money doesn't belong to any LG chairman, it belongs to Nigeria ! Third of all, the allowance paid to the king of England also gets delivered to him by someone much lower than the prime minister in the UK government, does that make the king of England inferior to that civil servant?
Use your brain, mate!
Also, I don't know if you are aware, but presidents don't pay themselves their salaries, that is done by a person much lower than them in the government ranking ! Try and make sense, please. The Queen of England has a constitutional role(head of government) while our kings don't have any. |

Parachoko: First class king have no power, nah just ceremonial position
A first class king is below a LG Chairman in Nigeria The guy no know say the so called first class king report to LG chairman... In fact it's local government that pays Kings salaries. Kings don't have constitutional power but LG chairmen have. |
