Lost count on the number of outbounds. This was the domain I talked about early last year, that I got a call from an end user telling me I am a criminal and he his going to see I go to jail and make sure I die a painful and slowly death.....I Gave up on the domain after that experience.

Received a message that it will expire next month, decided to carry out only one last rough outbound. I do not even have the will to complete outbounding, gave up after sending out 12 messages, only to go check my email and see that message that put a bright smile on our heart and reignite the dying flame .....

I was gifted a laptop which I thought would make this domaining easier, but it sucks a lot of data within minutes.
The last time I was only trying to setup my Ed.net account on the laptop and also some chrome extensions, but it consumed more than 2 GB in less than an hour, without me completing what I was doing.

This is a thread I created in 2020 that I ask how I can make upper with my low CGPA. I listened to advice from nairalanders. I work hard and pray to God and God finally did it. I know some people will attack me that school doesn't guarantee job but I don't care I know what I will face so I'm prepared for it and let me celebrate this one God do for me.

Moral of the story
Believe in God
Never give up
And don't joke with prayer.

Let me also share my own testimony to encourage someone here.

Last year, i wanted to do my masters. I completed my bachelors degree since 2013 and I felt it was time to upgrade academically.
I also needed it for my express entry. I wrote IELTS, asked my school to send my transcript to me, and then I started begging uncles, anybody to pls contribute no matter how small.

I dont have the money for a masters program, all my years of working in the hospital cannot even pay one third of my masters fee. I was so frustrated. How will I relocate out of this country or get a good paying job if i cannot even do masters.

I tried to use agent to get job abroad, they all scammed me.

By this time, i am already so tired, so frustrated. One day around November, I remember vividly I didn’t go to work, i was sleeping. Then i had my phone ping. Reluctantly I checked, and it was a mail from an organization. They said they wanted to pay masters for selected embryologist in Nigeria who cannot afford it.

In my mind, i said rubbish another scam. I even told them I will think about it.

Well reluctantly, i sent my documents. After 2 weeks i got admission from a university in Valencia spain , fully scholarship. To God be the glory i will be rounding up next February.

Please trust God, he said i know the plans i have for you, plans of good and not of evil. To give you an expected end.

Really, What God cannot do does not exist.

This has been pending for a while and I feel the urge to share before it's too late. I promised God I would testify if he granted my heart desire of a good job. My story goes thus;

I graduated from the university since 2014 and had no job. During this period, I equipped myself with handwork (fashion designing). When job wasn't forth coming, I decided to enrol for masters but continued the job hunt. The Masters was also a hurdle but I am glad I finally scaled through and graduated. Most people I hoped on to help me secure a job failed me. I kept applying for different jobs through online job sites. I was invited for tests and interviews most of which I didn't scale through. I was always sent REGRET MAILS.

I managed to get one small job last year September and as time went on, I felt I was wasting away. This wasn't what I intended for myself. I soaked my pillow with bucket of tears. I felt like a failure.

So in February 2021, I turned to my GOD.I was so tired of struggling. There was no one to lean on except God. I told God that I was tired and that if he was indeed my God, he should prove it from March.

In March ending, I got promoted in my workplace to a managerial position.

In April, I got another good job but I rejected it because I weighed the pros and cons and I felt I needed to work and gain experience in my new role.

In May/june, I got called by an organisation to redo my medicals and join them. You see,I actually got to the medical stage last year and then I didn't hear from them again so I moved on. Anyway, I resigned and joined them since it was a much more better place.

In September,God gave me a special birthday gift. I got my dream job; a multinational firm with great career prospects.

God didn't end there. Same September, I got a call from the HR of another multinational group. I wrote their test in October 2019,did their interview in February 2020 and I also didnt hear from them. Then in December 2020, they sent me a REGRET MAIL. I was so angry then. Now,the HR called me and she said "you did an interview with us in February last year. Would like to reconsider the job?.If yes, let's have a chat".

So in 2021, I got a PROMOTION and FOUR GOOD JOB OFFERS. All jobs were through online applications...there was no connection.

This is ME telling my EVER FAITHFUL GOD, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!

I think what you are trying to refer to is 'surface tension': the ability of a liquid (water) to behave as if its surface were a thick skin.

My study techniques are very simple, first and foremost I don't miss class, I always strive to sit in front during class, if you are observant you will notice that many at times a lecturer is taking his or her lectures, most of what the lecturer is saying might not be found in the materials he or she handed to the students, so basically I write down things and do some recordings too. Basically my classmates normally call me secretary because I tend to catch everything that was said. Another study technique is I make it a point of duty to have one or two questions after lectures, most times I might be invited for further explanation from the lecturer.
So while I'm doing all these I don't bother going through the materials given by the lecturer until exam approaches, I was parts and parcel of the lecture, the information has sank in.... Now during my intensive revision once exam timetable is out I try to look for a key just like you have a door key... this is what I mean, all the information I have acquired during my time of study I look for a simple event or incidence I will tag it on so that once I'm in the exam Hall and I recall the event and how I tagged all my knowledge for that course there, my brain opens and it will be as if my lecturer is dictating for me while I write...I even go as far as recalling how the lecturer addressed the topic and my question the day it was taught....
So this techniques is simple for me but might be difficult for someone else to practice, I discovered myself after I copied whatothers were doing (going for night class to study) for one full semester with out yielding much success.

That means you compartmentalize acquired knowledge into 'rooms' to which you assign 'KEYS' for easy access (recall) at will.

My question is how do you come about these keys? Do you derive them from objects around you? Experiences? Or you use certain acronymic or mnemonic techniques?

For me, acronyms have been very helpful, but I am still looking to refine my technique.

Back then in school, I don't waste my time reading when exam timetable isn't out yet, it took me one whole semester to discover what works for me, so I don't try to copy others...my secret is that I pay good attention to lectures and make sure I grab the vital points, after that I won't go back studying because I see that as a waste of my time since I'm good at assimilating at first glance. Once timetable is out, and I have exam a day before or the next day that's when the spirit of reading and carrying out extra research comes in....I will spend the entire day in my room studying... the first time I tried it, I thought I might not be able to grab everything within that short time, but I noticed that once I'm in the exam Hall, everything starts replaying. I was even shocked by my ability to attempt all the questions successfully....
From that day, I decided to continue that way and I graduated....So Op is right, look for what ever works for you, don't copy others, back then I only go to class at night for browsing and downloading new movies... I understood myself.
