Chivincent: Hello fam, please for the IOM medicals, after I did all my tests and saw the Doctor, the Doctor had a conversation with me and did some tests and told me when to receive my results, after that, I went home because she said I was done. Please Is that how it’s done because I am seeing some people saying that you have to go back to where they took your blood to sign out or something after seeing the doctor.
Guys please, can someone help me out here? You are certainly done. Seeing the doctor is usually the last stage (in most cases). You don't need to sign out anywhere. Provided you completed all the test required, you are good to go. |

Kenny4real68: Hi fellow Nairalanders,
PLEASE HELP ooo I have an admission offer to study 1 year PGC in strategic management. My tuition fee is $18,263 cad. I have PAID my first semester tuition of $ 9,000 cad. As a banker, I intend to sponsor myself and my Acc statement has a closing balance of 22,500,000 naira which is equivalent of $40,000 cad( no lump sum). PLEASE IS THIS A GOOD POF Considering my second semester tuition of $9,263 cad and one year living expenses of $10,000 cad is covered, ( that’s visa officers still expect you to have reasonable money left in your account after your tuition and living expenses is shown) Self sponsor is a crazy route to follow and I have had my share of the breakfast recently. These VOs shine their eyes once they see selfsponsor nowadays. My advise, complete your full tuition fee and do a GIC of at least 10k CAD. Have solid home ties, letter of introduction, landed properties, tax clearance, pension reference and statement, employment letter, affidavit of return, etc. I believe your closing balance will be sufficient afterwards. |

Twostep: Good day guys, please has anyone been able to book biometric date here in recent time? Been trying since Friday and it says ‘no slots are currently available’ both for Lagos and Abuja.
Is anyone else currently experiencing this too? Can I go to their office to physically book an appointment date?
I would appreciate your responses regarding this.. thank you. Hello, yeah I have just booked now. I have been having same problem since Friday last week and I occasionally log in and out of the VFS site looking for any available date. I think You should do the same. Just do it regularly |

tlk2Prince: Bulgaria is only good for one thing as far I can remember. It’s a cheap country both locals and foreigners.
If your a person with high ambitions, goals and stability and you have others who rely on you back home the I’d suggest you have other plans and not make Bulgaria your final destination. Interesting. This is playing out already, lol. Thanks. |

Favouredforever: Do it Bro... It's a great place.
quality of living - value for money rent - affordable feeding expenses - cheap tax - reasonable. Nothing crazy like UK transportation - 25leva or so will get you around Sofia for a month security - good weather - not bad Community engagement - depends on you. If you like engagement/meeting people, there are various ways to accomplish that. This is helpful. Thank you I was surprised by their moderate tax system as against Portugal. Just couldn't help saying nah immediately. Bless u. |

Hi Nairalanders in the building,
Please can someone tell me how life is for immigrants in Bulgaria? I'm looking for specific details as quality of living, rent, feeding expenses, tax, transportation, security, weather and community engagement.
I'm considering a relocation based on a job so I'm doing a bit of a research. I have read as many articles I can find online and have also spoken to some locals (Bulgarian colleagues), but I just want to hear from my Naija families who are living or had lived in Bulgaria.
Your contributions are highly appreciated . |
