Please, I have been working with a company for more than one year on a contract basis in a project of two years duration. The company has over 500 workers of which pension deduction of certain amount is been done on individual worker salary on monthly basis for more than one year and some months now yet the company has refused to remit same deduction into our pension account. Each time we question the company management representative about the pension matter is either he tells us that he is working on it or we get threatened of sack. Now the project is coming to an end yet no hope of getting our pension from the company. I am so worried the company don't run away with our pension fund as the project is coming to an end.
Please I need advice on where to report the matter and I will like the pencom officials and the pension managers in the house to enlighten me on the appropriate channel to use to report this matter to pencom or appropriate authority for action before the company run away with our pension dun that amount to millions of naira. I was regular in my monthly loan repayment as well as my monthly PLPP premium until January 2017 when employment was terminated. Upon received of my termination letter, I approached the bank with a copy of my termination letter notifying the bank of the development. All this why, I expected the bank to have approached insurance for a claim of the outstanding balance of the loan as stated in the policy. Now that I want to start making use of the account, I observed that the account is still in debit with acummulative debit interest. Please, I need your asisstance to ensure that the claim is paid to the bank according because I have been to the bank and discuss this but it seems the bank remains adamount.
