But have you seen melania with criminal trump since her mother's burial?
She will divorce the man once he becomes a convicted felon.
I pity his poor son, barron and all the hits he's getting due to his criminal father's lifestyle.

They were together at Mara lago with Vivek and his Wife just last week?

Uzodimma was governor before Tinubu ever contested in primary elections, but rationality always give way for emotions.

Was just about to say the same thing...As if Certificate issues started and ended with BAT...!?

Was Dino Melaye not involved in Certificate issues? How about Adeleke (especially the first time he contested for Governor).

People all of a sudden want to act holy on this issue, where forgery has been part of the Nigerian Fabric way before this Democratic dispensation started in 1999....the Leaders we have are just a mirror of the society at large. The average Nigerian has no qualms in cutting corners but acts all innocent when their leaders display the same traits? Such an irony..like where are they expecting these leaders to come from, the Moon?

The whole country is an anomaly, so we should stop throwing stones in a glass house....we are fast becoming like the people Jesus asked - "He who is without sin cast the first stone"....we cannot give what we don't have, when "We" as a people change our ways, it will trickle down to other aspects of our Polity and gradually the system will change and new Leaders will emerge across Board.

Who told you companies did not run away or stay away from those countries you mentioned?

I guess you have not heard of cooperate image.

The president of a nation is the No 1 marketing agent of a country, if his image is bad so also his country is perceived.
Why do you think countries pressure their leaders to resign or step down when they have personal scandals?

Recently the Cheif officer for Shell 's Shale division had to step down becos he was accused , not yet found guilty of sexual harassment, the company distanced themselves from him to avoid denting their reputation.
You think the West think like us? Where we act anyhow without consequences and remorse.
What happened to former British PM, why did he resign?
The only investors that would be willingly to do business in nigeria are those investors and companies that are into shady business.

Well I know companies did not stay away from SA because I happened to have had the opportunity to have lived in SA after Madiba became President and had an understanding of the challenges involved and how Countries circumvented the sanctions to still operate fully in SA, so its something I have knowledge of what that entailed and how the people felt that God just intervened to give Botha and some of his Peers the courage to stand up to his Party and other White Southern Africans to do the right thing by the Nationals

As said, you are conflating issues....issues of morality and image have nothing to do with Investments coming in...Boris Johnson resigned due to having Lost the trust of his Peers and the nation, not because Businesses were clamouring to pull out of the UK because he flouted Covid restrictions laws, same way that his key Advisor Domminic Cummings resigned as well for being caught to have flouted the same laws...that is a "Morality issue!"

If you say BAT should resign due to morals, then I am with you 100% on that, but tying it to Investors coming to Nigeria or pulling out of Nigeria is just laughable to say the least.

But you are hell bent on maintaining that view point, so nothing anyone says will convince you otherwise...so we shall agree to disagree.

BATs academic issues and poor economic policies would do this country more harm.
You think investors have money to throw away, bad economic polices and a country's bad reputation can cause investors having poor confidence in a country.

Once again, you keep trying to "Shoe in" his academic issues into a scenario that is just plainly false....Bad policy decision by the President and the ruling Party have effects on any Investor, his Academic woes whether true or false have no effect on any Investor deciding on whether to come to do business in Nigeria....if his or her investments are secured and they can make a profit then they couldn't careless who a President is....that's why Countries that even have the worst Dictators you can think off, still have peoples, Organisations and countries that are still willing to take risks to do business within.

Did Investors run away during South African Apartheid era even with all the sanctions? Did Nigeria not have investors during the height of Abacha's regime....unless you are talking Mugabe type of issues in Zimbabwe, which I doubt Nigeria will ever get that bad as Mugabe's issues was testing the British which the European Nations and America wanted to teach him a lesson, so squeezed the life out of the Zimbabwean economy....Tinubu's issues are just an embarrassment for Nigerians and fodder for ridicule (like how other nations ridiculed the US when Trump was elected President), beyond that it's his policies that potential investors will look at and nothing more.

First and foremost, I am apolitical. I have no party affiliation whatsoever.
In the current scheme of things. How many investors would be willing to risk their investment in Nigeria?
When big organizations make business plans and build investment models, one key ingredient that is taken into deep consideration is the business environment. A number of foreign airlines have found it difficult to repatriate their money back home. Bad politics is bad business, and that reverberates deep into every sphere of Nigeria as a society .
The truth is that multinational businesses around the world don’t rate Nigeria as a serious nation. You can disagree with that fact, but that doesn’t change what is it. It’s still a fact.
Why is that a trend? When Buhari left power in 1985, did he do anything to develop himself academically?
No he didn’t. He was elected in 2015 an a cerebrally inept, economically dissonant. Buhari was never in touch with modern realities. He may not have been corrupt by stealing money, but Nigeria went down a downward spiral because he was incompetent.
What a European or an American business man sees first are the crop of leaders a country has before investing. Go to Egypt, Rwanda, even Ghana and you’d see a world of difference.
Yes weak and corrupt judiciary. aggressively corrupt legislators and an ectopic executive is the bane of our failure as a nation. And it’s not about to get better

Once again, no one is arguing with any of your assertions....I am fully in agreement to the extent that the issues of Nigeria are down to the policies of their leaders (of which both Parties are guilty of providing us with Bad leadership across Board, be it PDP or APC).

Where I disagree is on this sudden sugar rush of everyone saying that this all came about after the just concluded elections,(I recognise that most comments are just banter on N/L and not to be taken seriously) as if it has not been a steady growing trend in Nigeria...when Woolworths came and then shut down operations in Nigeria was it not under the PDP government?

As you said, the issue of (demanding) good governance should not be based on party affiliations....we can talk of electing competent leaders, but in my opinion (and its only my opinion) I didn't see any (true) competent Leader among all the candidates (hence my sitting down the election cycle) .....maybe I expect too much as I honestly don't even know if I as a person would be able to handle such a job of being president of a complex country as Nigeria if given a chance. So I might be no better than whats on offer.

All in all, we shall see how this period in our history goes....we hope for the best (while fearing the worst).

Was great rubbing minds with you.

Are you a foreigner?
You should be aware of the exdous of companies and the decline in the economy of this country, right from the inception of this Useless party in 2015.

I have no arguments on the above as you have rightfully put the blame where its meant to squarely lie, which is on the Policies of the ruling Party.

Its when people solely make it seems as if BAT's academic issues have anything to do with Party Policies and Business Investments, that's where people lose me...where were all these issues when he ran for Govenor amd served 2 terms? If you want to destroy a tree you do that from the root and when its just sprouting its growth....makes it easier than chopping down an Oak when it's fully grown.

Eitherways, we shall see where the pendulum swings in a few months time.

I agree that investors are only interested in making profits. That’s fundamentally true. After all that’s why the businesses were setup in the first place.
Now let me ask you a question? Why are companies folding up and leaving the shores of Nigeria ? It shows they are not making profit. It’s also a proof that the business environment is toxic and unproductive. Doesn’t that make sense?
And why is the environment unproductive? When you have a fraudster, a certificate forger with the baton, what signal does that send to International investors?
It shows that our Judiciary is weak, corrupt and not independent are can not do justice by removing an unqualified person, no matter how highly placed he is. It’s also a proof that Nigeria does not respect its own constitution and laws, and how will they ever respect foreigners or be just to them?
How many investors would be willing to place such high and risky stake on their monies?
So there is always a reason for honest, transparent, responsible and accountable leadership. These are the reasons. Sadly, there’s none on this clime.

Brother I hear you loud and clear on the need for Transparent leadership and governance amd once again Nigeria (who are meant to be the so called Giants or Africa) has come up short where many had such hope for change.

Having said that, let's not conflated both issues....Investments come in all shapes and sizes and businesses and Organisations weight the risks involved when considering coming into any environment to operate and I can tell you the Character of a Political Leader is way low on that list of "Risk Analysis" in consideration (once again, I will clearly state that Investors could give two bleeps about any Leader and his background as long as his policies make the environment feasible for them to operate and make back profit on their investments).

Now if the argument is that BAT will implement policies that are unfavourable to allow for investments, then one can have a concise argument on the pros and cons of that statement (of which there are many), but when the argument is that BAT's Academic qualifications and other Personality issues are the reason that Businesses will not invest in Nigeria, one can only help but laugh at such childish and simplistic assertions (not from you though)

Eitherways, let's see where the chips falls in all of this, alot of (Nigerians (both home and abroad) have moved on with their lives and have left it to the fate of time to determine what happens next (that's how many kept on and on and like a bad joke PMB ended up serving 2 terms and left looking far more healthier than he came in despite the wish of death left, right and center from a lot of people).

We will see where we are in a few months time.

It's obvious you have no knowledge of how business decisions are taken.

Am not surprised, logic and brain is far from any APC supporters.

Once again I ask you all to provide all the businesses that are folding up?

And this has nothing to do with APC or PDP or LP as I didn't vote in this election of support any of the candidates as they are all the same, so spare me with the "So and so Party Supporter" mantra.

Not everyone is blinded by Party or Tribal affiliations.

Since you claim to know so much about Business and investments, (LOL!) do share how Investments have been affected specifically by this election (beyond what is going on In the World Financially afdecting all Countries of which Nigeria is a part of)..

The way we keep hyping up this case as if the World cares?

We have to deal with this as Nigerians and not give it an Importance beyond what it is...let the chips fall where they may....either the Supreme Court will rule against BAT and he is removed and fresh elections called or will uphold his election and the Opposition will then have to lick their wounds and gear up for a Battle Royale in 2027,

beyond that people should focus more on how to make their lives better, because all these Politicians will be OK regardless of any outcomes...

Folks talking about Nigeria's reputation? Lol! As if it was today Nigeria already had a bad rep around...when David Cameron was caught on a hot mic saying Nigeria was "Fantastically Corrupt" was that not at the tail end of the PDP regime with PMB just having taken control of the government in 2015? Was our Rep intact then or ways before!?

Sometimes let's be honest with ourselves, regardless of whom you support.

I hv a message to Nigerians, no investor will step his or her foot in Nigeria at dis point in time. No sensible and wise business entity will like to invest in a country being led by drug lord, certificate forger and a man without an identity full of baggage
Nigerians only managed Buhari a bit bcs of his past record of anti corruption but u see dis useless Tinubu, nothing to manage about him
Then, Tinubu just exposed Yoruba people a bit, we all thought that Yoruba and schooling is 5&6 not knowing that some of them parading themselves as scholars and certificate forgers.
Tinubu, biodun, Kemi etc

Quite a silly comment to make, do you think International Investors look at stupid things like this to make business decisions!? Even during Abacha's regime, Investors from China and the Middle East trooped in when there were sanctions (and Western Investors still snuck in to do business with the regieme).

At this point, people are just being childish...Investors are only interested in making profits on their investments, nothing more nothing less....they will come regardless of who the President is as long as they can make a profit in the Nigerian markets, they couldn't give a Bleep about the Politicking going on.

People should know this and know peace.

You all that are happy with Tinubu should continue to suffer and smile. Don't worry, I have nothing to say to you people. Una suffer never start. Una go still see shege. We Nigerians will learn by fire, by force.

These general assumptions are just childish...The President (whomever he is) is just one Man...yes he is influential and can determine specific policies, but the fate of a people and a nation is not based solely on the whims amd caprice of 1 individual....we have a Legislature and Judiciary, State and Local Government and so on.....the notion that a Citizenry will face calamity due to 1 person that will serve 1 or at best 2 terms is just silly.

Everyone hearken to the "Good old days" of the past....same way with the coming of any new administration, opposition will always proclaim calamity and suffering will be the portion of the Citizens as long as they are not in power and vice versa....when PDP were in Power, People complained of suffering, now APC is in power people still complain...same with old political entities of NPN, AG and co....

In any period of time, there will be hard times and good times (Nigeria's case is no different, ask the Citizens of the UK, USA, Russia and co how they feel about their Governments as the World Wide Recession hits hard regardless of borders).

Maybe sometime in the near future, the Labour Party and its Chieftains will finally gain the reigns of power so we can see the difference, I dare say that the same trends of people in opposition shouting from the roof tops that everyone will suffer will continue even under those circumstances.

What can we deduce from all of this:

1. CSU is protecting their reputation esp where discrepancies in BAT's supposed records existed.
2. CSU is aware of ensuing consequences...
3. Never has a country's damaged reputation been so ruined internationally.
4. Nigeria has finally become a country where drug barons, forgers, criminals and generally unscrupulous persons are NOW EMBOLDENED with unmitigated impudence to BRAG!
5. Expect a resilient and relentless AA to press for more SPECIFIC but damaging details, some the school myt hv bn lobbied to skip from sharing/exposing...

But what does this do in the end!? Will that remove the President or affect the Supreme Court's forthcoming ruling? Remember there is a deadline on the horizon this week...Everyone and their mother knows that no Politician is clean 100% (Inclusive of the said Atiku and PO) As someone said somewhere else, is AA doing anything different from what Obj did when he and BAT were at each others throats as President vs Governor?

The presumption is that any revelation will now make BAT resign (out of shame or what? The shame that didn't move or affect him all this while) or what exactly is the end game here.....fact of the matter is, many Nigerians have moved on with their lives and are more focused on finding ways (mostly legitimate) to make ends meet and put food on the table, I dare say any of these matters in the long run (if the principal aim is to change the "Status Quo!"wink will move the needle in terms of a reverse in the election results/declaration (if that is the ultimate end game).

All it does is keep gossip columns, Media Houses, online forums and Social Media Celebrities busy and relevant for a short while before reality sets in and people move on till next coming elections (which I can bet AA will still throw his hat in the proverbial ring).

All in all, time will tell if this yields the desired fruits/results for AA and PDP. I doubt BAT is worried one bit...but we shall see.

I don't care about any of the rumors or stories you have to share regarding their personal lives. What I care about here are the established facts and the major one is that those boys, talented as they may have been, lived like fools and as such died like fools. They were not the talents we had back in the 90s but they sure showed the world that talent only means something when you equally know how to live. undecided

You are not making any sense whatsoever....Life and death are just a case of time and chance...some people die due to being at the wrong place at the wrong time while other get a second chance...Jay Z as a drug dealer found himself in situations that could have had him killed but he survived...but do you point out that he sold Crack which ruined alot of Black Lives and led to the degradation of the Black Community!? Before he went full circle into music. Or that fact alludes you?

Sean Combs duped alot of his artist to get to where he is, this led to the demise of a few like Black Rob, Craig Mack and co (the Rapper Shyne even copped a Plea Deal and spent years in prison to cover up for that coward)...but since he survived and is now a Billionaire we should hail the fact he rode on the back of others to achieve his status now right?

Those of you desperately attempting to rewrite the narrative here are the confused ones here. The whole world knows what happened. Investigative report after report reveals these were immature boys who didn't understand what life was really about and how to best use their talents. You know this from the fact that many of those who once were with dem pack load depart from all that nonsense gangster bullsheet after their death. Where are Pdiddy and co today? Na those ones get sense pass. undecided

The same Puff Daddy that none of the Artist that came under him grew or ended up well? I won't even be petty and bring up the various rumours that have plagued him since he burst on the scene as an A&R with Uptown Records under Andre Harrell (will never fault Puff on his Co-Prodution skills that gave us such great Albums from artist like Jodeci and Mary J etc but as a human being, many considered Puff the worst)

Same as Jay....ask Dame Dash and Kareem Biggs how they actually feel about Jay (even if he and Biggs have resolved their differences) ask other artist like DMX (RIP), Beanie Seagal and a host of others how they really feel about Jay as a person, or do we talk about Andre Young (Dr. DRE).

These guys are brilliant artist and have made billions for themselves while escaping the Immaturity of their youthful exuberance, but as Human beings, you will be hard pressed to find alot of people that really have good things to say about these guys beyond their musical contributions and business acunem.

Also none of the above (excluding Jay Z who actually was involved in Low Level drug dealing) were "Gangstas" in any which way...Sean Combs came from a middle class home and grew up in the Hamptons in New York, while Dr. Dre started off with the World Class Wreckin Crew (who were as far as being Gamgsta as you can imagine) and only ended up with NWA due to convincing the real "Gang Member" Eazy E to sponsor his Rap project which ended up being NWA.

A lot of People on here giving opinions on something they really don't know much
(or done their due diligence on) about or are just giving opinions based on some biased mindset.

Let me start off by saying/stating; Tupac is not "Black Jesus" or the best thing ever to happen in Hip Hop since sliced bread...also depending on one's musical tastes he might not be to everyone's liking (based on Hip Hop) same way some people feel that Drake is thrash (I being one of them) while others believe that Drake is the GOAT (Or Shawn Carter depending on whom you ask).

With that being said, its condescending to not give the Man his dues to the music genre of Hip Hop....I liken 2pac to Ali....was he actually "The Greatest!" as he claimed!? Far from it, but there will never be two Mohammed Alis ever in this lifespan (even Mike Tyson cannot compare to Ali as an institute in Boxing history) same way there will be no two 2pac Shakurs in this lifespan.

I could waste precious time rebutting some of the BS spouted by many on here who weren't even born or lived that period of time in Hip Hop at its "Golden" period (1988 - 1999), but of what point would it be to do this....after all opinions they say are like Bums (wanted to use the actual reference...😂)...everyone has one, so its all good.

Tupac has his place in the history of Hip Hop (good and bad) and no amount of people's opinions will ever change that or affect his popularity. Whether people like or loath his music or person is up to them, but his brilliance cannot be dimmed....EVER!!
