Same Onumonu I've been watching every game she's been playing for GWG? Abi na another one? This is WWC and she cant presss! Simple. She sabi shoot but pace is not there.
Onumonu can't press? This has to be a big joke.

Even at her worst. You can take pressing away from her. That's her biggest plus. A striker that tackles better than 99% of players. Why do even think Randy likes her?

Great point, I fear European teams the most, they are always so clinical no mater how small they are

Exactly what I'm scared of, them treating us to our own medicine.

If twas Onumonu or Oshoala with that Uchenna Kanu moment, let's talk true, they'll wantu touch before shooting. Abeg Onumonu should sit this 3nd half out pls. Plsssss. This Desire injury rumors dey vex me. Imagine her hold up play for an onrushing Kanu or Ajibade at the box
Then you don't know Onumonu. Haven't you seen her SF goals?

She, Opranozie, Kanu and Esther are good at one touch finishes.

I prefer we don't play any 9 today sef, what's the point? whoever it is will just end up getting sandwiched in the front.

Although the aim is to draw at least. You need a striker to latch on to loose balls or mistakes. Australia's defence may not be that formidable, IDK.

My only surprise is the inclusion of Onumonu because I thought we would need speedy players upfront to take advantage of any counter-attacks. She slowed down the few counterattacks the team had vs Canada, but I guess Waldrum needs her to hold-up the ball to bring in the much faster Kanu and Ajibade into more dangerous positions

So do you prefer Oparanozie? Or we should not play a striker?

Bro, I'm a big lover and fan of Ajakaye, but guy stop! This is disrespect to Linda Caicedo I swear. Ajakaye that is not even really good in front of goal? She just has speed for now, while Linda Caicedo has speed, tricks and crazy finishing ability! Scored U17WWC, U20WWC, second game for Real Madrid Women and now Senior Women's World Cup! Please let's know what we're typing on this thread sometimes o before mods ban person for unlawful comparison 😂✍🏾

I sure that guy did not even know who Linda Caciedo was before Deltamani mentioned her grin

Stop wasting your time arguing with him.

We're playing against the Republic of Ireland, not Northern Ireland.
Yes I meant the Rep of Ireland. Doesn't change the statement. They're 18 places ahead of us.

My top six to win the tournament
Brazil
Germany
Japan
Spain
Colombia
Italy

I can bet with you that USA is getting to the finals. They don't have any powerful threat on their path.

We re not d weakest but we are almost at d same par with each oda…na who first score might carry d day

Do you know that Northern Ireland is 18 places ahead of Nigeria on FIFA rankings?

Forget sentiments, we are the weakest team in that group.

As it stands, I'm not really putting my money on Nigeria to qualify although I have my hopes high. Our game against Australia will determine a lot.

Beating a team like Australia on their home soil will be very difficult. Our best bet is to park the bus and hope for the best.

BRICS is an economic cooperation just like G7 and not a political organization.

Also intl politics is very complicated. Israel is America's ally but also Russia's ally as well you know?

Yes of course. Brazil is a major US ally. It is classified as a major non-NATO ally. Same with Japan, Israel and South Korea

Going by your logic all democratic countries are Western countries.

Is Brazil a Western country then?

Fuel subsidy must go but it must not be @ the whims and caprices of these Western imperialists or neo- colonists who always wants to give us a poisonous chalice claiming to do us go.

"The bastardization of the naira and the complete destruction of Nigeria's refining capacity is what led to Abacha and his stooge buhari to come up with fuel subsidy which was in fact a way of subsidising their failure and incompetence...."

After all, the monies stolen by the kleptomanic Nigerian elites are often stashed in foreign accounts from where they also corruptly enrich themselves from. The infamous monstrous SAP economic policy of the 1990s is staring us again in the face. The govt is now forced to apply austerity measures and of course the downtrodden masses will kick against it. God forbid!

All these dumb nonsense Kperoogi is deceiving people with. IMF and World bank gives advice to every country in the world including America. It's up to you to take or leave it.

Almost all countries of the world are part of IMF and World bank. And no, they are not Western institutions. Asides the US the two major sponsors of the IMF and World bank are China and Japan, which are not Western countries.

I don't get how this is news. The law enforcement officers can physically restrain at the order of superiors and when actions contrary to orders they are given are yet to be cleared by a superior, so ki ni big deal?

Please are those youths doing the recording and running commentary on the phone coverage court workers or the usual regular Nigerian lazy youths always covering everything with their phones just to trend on social media? Check my signature for free stuffs!

Don't you get ashamed of yourself sometimes?

In a sane country you would've be doing a better job than advertising rubbish online.

Politics / Re: No Going Back On Withdrawal Of Cops From VIPs - Police by JohnBullMySon: 10:47am On Jul 25, 2023
jayworld15:
Nigeria is really a useless country. The worst occupation someone could have is be un the the police and being an escort. If there's a kidnapping or assassination attempts, you have to pay for your VIP's life with your own. If you follow them to parties or clubs, you'll be used as an errand boy. Possibly, they can even ask you to wash their undies and dispose baby diapers full of shits.

It is still much better than standing in the sun on a highway or pursuing area boys around only to be paid peanuts at the end of the month. Those errand boys are actually envied by their colleagues cos of the money they make.
