It was a push from behind...That Idiot didn't hesitate to call one worse than this for England tho.
Oga rest. It's clearly a shade. None of the players even complained. Alozie didn't protest it either.

Can't we clear the ball once instead of trying to out-muscle our way out of our defensive third? Smh

Inviting pressure a lot unnecessarily..

If you clear the ball, you lose counter attack opportunities.

I wonder if you would have still issued this comment if that ojoro penalty stood.

I can bet you that if that penalty was ours, everybody here would have called VAR biased.

EVERYBODY.

After watching Australia vs Nigeria, China be Haiti, South Africa vs Italy, South Korea vs Germany, some would still have the gall to come and defend FIFA. Look at how we almost went behind for a non existent pen.

Go and rest. Nobody is against you.

Thank God for VAR.

To be honest, that was clearly a penalty!

No it wasn't.

The final nudge was with her torso. Body contact isn't a foul.

It's because of players like Demehin that both Super Eagles and Super Falcons need to start training and playing possession football.

Possession football is by opponent strength not by training.

Whatever you've just said makes u sound like the group of people from the other country that hates their other African counterparts. I choose not to be on that table. There are still millions of south Africans, Ghanaians and other African nationality supporting Nigeria when they are up against other continent .

But of course local rivalry is allowed, I can't support south Africa or ghana when we have to meet within our region and that's fair and good for them not to support us when it is a regiona or continental derby ..

We should stop taking cheap hate poison it damages our lives and rationality.

TBH, I was also uncomfortable with South Africa qualifying. Not because I don't want to see them in the quarters but just for the rivalry between SA and Nigeria. If SA had qualifed ahead of this game, it will mount undue pressure on Nigeria.

To have the best chance we need to play this game clear headed.

Why would FIFA put someone from Canada as part of the V.A.R team? 😡
North America isn't Europe.

Regardless, Canada and US handling the VAR in a match involving England, isn't the wisest thing to do.

She's made plenty enemies along the way. They won't allow her rest. To be fair, she's a shadow of her former self and has been horrible this world cup. It still doesn't remove from the contributions she's made to USWNT over the years. However, it won't stop the bashing, she sometimes got herself entangled in unnecessary battles and made enemies out it. She go collect online well well.
Most soccer/football fans in the US, care little about politics, if that's the enemies you're talking about.

Most of them talking don't even watch the games. They're just looking for any trending thing to turn into political debate.

This is the entrance to the palace of the Emir of Kano, and it was built in the 16th century, 400 years before British colonisation.

Look how tall the building is.

Look at the size of the woman compared to the building’s height.

That is pretty advanced civil engineering if you ask me.

And somebody has the guts to say that white people brought civilisation to us?

Seems like we were pretty CIVILISED long before they came!

Although this is nice, if true, but t isn't very impressive for something built 400 yrs ago. In comparison to world architecture, 400 yrs isn't a very long time.

Westminster Abbey is 750 years old.

Windsor Castle is almost 1000 years old.

The Roman Colosseum is 2000 years old.

There are structures in Athens that are about 3000yrs old or more. Most of this are partially damaged though.

There are smaller structures, some already damaged, which are way much older than all these.

On Mainstays missing, it's a long story o. The shirt version is, the NBBF didn't take kindly to the girls doing a video the last time to get their monies payed. Their intention was to disband the team, but knew it was going to ignite public outcry so they instead chose to do the next best thing. The girls had been reaching out to find out what preparations were for the afrobasket and didn't get any response.

3 weeks to the tournament, the NBBF announced a new coach for the team (the girls found out same as everyone). Then 2 days later, they declared open tryouts for the national teams and anyone interested could attend. It was more or less saying the girls who had won the competition 3 times in a roll should come tryout for the job, and all this was a few days notice. Even if the girls decided to shamelessly attend the tryouts, they were going to be responsible for transporting themselves to Chicago where the tryouts took place and book their own hotels to make it. It will mean spending thousands of dollars to audition for a job you already proved yourself in.

It was why Odera resigned, to draw attention to the mistreatment of the NBBF. The tryouts failed anyway as only 5 people attended. They still had to extend invitations at the end of the day to a few persons on the old squad.

Okay I recall part of it. Also I think they went on strike after that. Maybe thats why the NBBF did trials as they didn't know who was in. I'm not trying to defend NBBF. I just want to believe that I will still see Adaora and Promise on the team.

Anyways its weird that you can just assemble a new team and they march on to the finals just like that.

Under president Joe Biden America has lost her Glory... What a shame...

Joe Biden is even trying. What of Trump that didn't even mention Africa throughout his administration. See the truth is that US doesn't really care so much about losing friends in Africa as long as they have friends in Europe, Asia and South America.
