VPD reads "You are qualified to study technical, mathematical and sciences" in any University in Germany.
Is your VPD for a particular university? or all university

I have an idea, If there anyone sending docs to UniAssist, please signify. UniAssist claimed, we can packaged different applications of different applicants into one one envelope and mail to them. I am hoping to see five people willing to do this, we could contribute 3k each to make 15k. It will save cost and ensures timely arrival of our applications.
Please if you are interested, please drop your details now. I need to send this week. I am fine with 2 more people.

You can beep me on o 7 o / 8\4\2 zero 8 5 8. I use this format due to web crawlers(Which I am one myself). I will delete this soon. Please Contact me asap.

Many of you people have a very simple problem with comprehension, and it's not my fault you lack understanding.

https://www.quora.com/How-good-is-the-Rhine-Waal-University-of-Applied-Sciences-Germany-Is-it-right-for-me
From that post it doesn't make it bad, lots of People tagged it good. I think it's a specialized university in a subject area. Just like University of Technology in Nigeria or University of Agriculture.

From the Quora post, it is more practical oriented.

Applied means it is more of practical, workforce ready than the normal university that's full of theory.

If you're studying Engineering in Nigeria I would recommend FUTA, but maybe Business Administration, I might recommend UNILAG.

So which implies, if you're studying anything related to Engineering, Applied Science is a right choice, but if you intend to end in up in academia, maybe you should look elsewhere.

I found this helpful in converting your cgpa to German system. The lower the better. That is, 1.0 is better than 4.0 after converting to German system.

3.8 CGPA in Nigeria 5.0 system will be 1.9 in Germany.

Assumption*Most universities in Germany requires 2.5

I agree, note that we have other nationals attending this school not just Nigerians... Truthfully d courses there na die( ask around from those studying there, most Nigerians drop out and those who remain switch to a much easier discipline).
Balancing studies and hustle in a school as RhineWaal studying Engineering no be beans.
My two cowries wink
It's like telling me studying Medicine is easy in USA.

I already know Germany education is tough, and one of the best(no be moi moi).

But there are people who graduated with good grades from that school? I read their course outlines for Communication and Information Engineering, I guess I can survive. I survived one of the toughest universities in Nigeria, studied the course people dreads the most.

I am not going to be hustling like norm Nigerians. I already know how to make money in better way, regardless of the country I might find myself.

There are lots of people in Nigeria that are richer than those in Yankee, Aussie, Canada, UK, Germany. It is about being smart and plans.

Thanks for your advice. It is really helpful, and it will help more people.

I have no problem with Rhine Waal being a "stepping stone". No be everyone go go TUM.

If going to a low ranked school was part of a bigger plan to achieving bigger things, then why not.

My problem are people with no plan other than attending any school in the abroad. I wouldn't even complain if there was some form of scholarship.

Going to Germany to spend some 2/3 years of your life and some cool millions on a degree that is below per is in my opinion unforgivable.

Let's encourage and help ourselves to pursue bigger things.
Explain what you mean by the bolded. A B.Sc in Mechatronic Systems Engineering or Electronics/Electrical Engineering in a below per degree? I checked their course outline, and the way I see things, if you are ready to learn, you will learn greatly from there, a university that focused more on practical is really valuable. Founded 100years ago, or 10years ago doesn't make a damn. What they have to offer is what makes a difference.

Rhine Waal Uni may be a stepping stone, not neccessarily the final destination.

Abi isn't it possible to do 1yr there and change to almighty TUM?
Illuminate us Sir!
Rhine Waal Uni offered most of their courses in English(Undergraduates), which is a very good reason anyone would like to choose them over TUM.

TUM only offered Master courses in English.

Lots of Nigerians struggle in Europe Education due to the language that they are being taught in.

It does not mean. what was your total CGPA in ur first year, and be aware that you must have had up to 30 credit point in the 1st year before applying using the whole Bsc transcript( if u have) to apply for a fresh Bsc is also allowed.... the total conversion to the German scale is what that matters most.
Please, sorry for asking this, does someone with CGPA of 3.88 in the first year, without any fail, stand a chance? Do you by any chance know the average cgpa for someone going for Bsc in Engineering?
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by johndoefoo: 3:28pm On Mar 17, 2018

From what I heard, you need German language knowledge/certificate if you want to go for BSc.

What did u graduate with in your Bsc?
You don't really need German Language, there so many school that offer courses in English for Bsc... You might need toefl though.

Motivation letter is one of the important document you must submit on uni.assist application Plattform. Moreover, the number of schools you applied for will be the number of Motivation letters you will write and upload all cerified copies your documenta(certificate e.g olevel, uni.certificate, certificate of birth, local govt. Certificate transcripts, ielta or toefl or any German language certificate and other relevant certificates). U also need to upload your recommendation letter,CV,related professional certificate.- u dont need to certify this ones.

However, payment can be made TO uni.assist Bank account(u can check more on their site for more instruction) its easy.because i sent My approximate cash of My applications TO My Friend in Germany TO help me pay for My uni assisr applications fee.

After the payment is bring made u have to DHL all your documents u uploaded TO uni.assist office in Germany. Make sure it must be certified and must be place in sets in accordance TO the number of schools you applied for. If its 3 schools you will DHL 3 sets of docs.

Thanks
Contrary to that, from uni assist:

"Each document needs to be submitted only once, even if you wish to use it to apply to multiple universities."

It is not the University of Hamburg, but Hamburg University of Applied Sciences. They are two different schools. Since you have completed a Bachelor degree in Nigeria, write a letter to the coordinator asking for a waiver of TOEFL or IELTS and get a letter from your school that your Bsc is fully taught in English. But if you are applying to Rhine-wal(the same course), IELTS or TOEFL is compulsory provided you are looking at the way of Bsc. Shalom
Thanks for the info.

Generally, I have to apply through uni-assist to both schools. Do you know how uni-assist works?

Why not go for MSc?

Since you mentioned Java, Oracle, etc. I'm guessing you're going for either computer, electrical or electronics related engineering. In that case have you seen any school offering this in English? I strongly doubt.
I studied Mathematics in university here(There is high probability I won't get admitted for an Engineering course with that)

They offer Information Engineering in English. The only course offered in English. The school even requires TOEFL for the course. University of Hamburg
TravelRe: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 4 by johndoefoo: 2:56pm On Dec 14, 2017
I guess most schools offering Engineering courses in English in Germany only has winter admission for the courses. Well the plan is I am applying as an undergraduate... Already a graduate here already. I am applying to study Information Engineering.

I want to send my 100L result + WAEC result + Working experience(employment letters).

Question 1, Do I need to write something like Oracle Java Associate/Professional Developer to boost my chance.(I guess admission will be very competitive for free education in a school where the course is the only course taught in English)
2. How do I certify my 100L results, I downloaded it from my school website. I need VPD to certify my credentials before applying to the school.
