This is to correct the wrong impression being created from some quarters as regards the explosion that rocked Akure less than 48hours ago. I am a Mining Engineer by study and by profession by God's Grace. I can categorically confirm that commercial explosives were being conveyed from an explosive company in the South west to a quarry in the South south. EOD (Explosive Ordnance Disposal) officers of the Nigeria Police were escorting the said explosives. The explosives detonated because the truck went in flames, according to report. The one true fact is that "EXPLOSIVES IN A TRUCK DETONATED". The impact of the explosion is what you saw, while some witnessed ground vibration, air blast and noise. Check this video below to understand the power of explosives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkxKX8Z6vhY In addition, some people said it was a bomb. Bomb explosives are different from commercial explosives. You would notice that there was no trace of fire or burn on and around the location. |
Oga Professor, I disagree vehemently!!! Whether that cause is true or not is another case entirely. The one true fact is that "EXPLOSIVES IN A TRUCK DETONATED". The impact of the explosion is what you saw, while some witnessed ground vibration, air blast and noise. For those that want to believe Mr Professor, try to check online videos of blasting done in quarries to know what explosives can do to rocks. Check this video to understand the power of explosives. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NkxKX8Z6vhY In addition, some people said it was a bomb. Bomb explosives are different from commercial explosives. You would notice that there was no trace of fire or burn on and around the location. |
Really? Well, maybe I did not really follow the feud between Ganduje and Sanusi though. I still find it amazing how he is being dethroned by Ganduje. There must still be some drama left. |
Wow!!! I am amazed. I am trying to imagine how they lived through this. These are wonderful couple. |
Maybe a Lion......#smile |
When the frequently friend-zoned guy grows up a little more, he will naturally learn better. He should strive for a better life for yourself and you will be less frequently friend-zoned. |
Imagine! Training children has become a problem for parents, Pastors are even worse. They just rarely get it right. All the best Madam. I hope you find solace and happiness. Like you already know, your forgiveness is important for you and them |
Good! My fear however is that the old are not ready to leave. How do Youths with just a few millions in the bank contest with these greedy pot belly old men? Even fellow youths will collect money from the old men and vote for them How many of the minimum age did we have in those positions before now? A 35year old Senator was not bad but we had old cargos throwing seats and stealing mace there. Meanwhile, these so called Youths are even more greedy. Future leaders of this country are worse than present leaders. God bless Nigeria! |
oshi ati radarada So unfortunate that someone will win huge amount of money for being a hypocrite and a rascal and a mannerless fellow, best of the bad bunch of spoilt brats |
okay |
I am buying the moment I spot it. I have been planning to get two but my movements have not been through places I could get it. For me, it is for stupid bike men. |

It appears Whatsapp is down. This is a really bad time for Whatsapp to have issues. Are you also affected? |
What is the price please? |
The Bible tell us not to use wears of the other sex. For those that default, God knows how to judge them. It will be wrong to say they are going to hell. Jewelries are not bad though. |
FUT what? |
I read the lengthy book just before coming on here. I must say a number of things impressed me while some others either confused me or made me sad. Overall, I expect a better future. The foundation for a better tomorrow is being planned for but devils in this country do not want. I hope things turn out well. God bless and help Nigeria. |
Interesting! Trying to imagine the origin and thinking behind these traditions. Anyway, some of these things make us who we are, Africans! |
Nice |

My experience with them is quite different but I prevailed. I gave them a phone for repairs and it was misplaced. I was given another phone though. |
You got it totally wrong. The hair is what should not be exposed. God help you.... God help us |
Not so long ago, Bromate was a common presevative used for on the shelf for sales bread. It turned out Bromate is bad for human health. In recent times, bread makers boldly write on containing nylon or labels "Bromate free". This brings me to the question: what preservatives do they use now? You will agree with me that breads now last longer than they used to be some years ago. I have tried to search for some harmful bread preservatives. 1. Calcium propionate This is the most common preservative used in bread. Calcium Propionate occurs naturally in butter and specific types of cheese and it helps prevent mold and bacteria growth in bread. It has been known to cause side effects such as stomach ulcers, behavioral irritability in children, and headaches. 2. Butylated Hydroxytoluene (BHT) This is a lab-produced chemical that is added to bread as a preservative. It slows down the autoxidation rate of ingredients that causes deterioration in the taste or color. It is known to produce problems upon ingestion such as abdominal pain, confusion, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Its long term effects on the lungs, liver, and kidneys are overall toxic. 3. Sulfur Dioxide Sulfur Dioxide is regularly used in bread for its properties as a preservative and antioxidants. It is mixed with the flour and serves as its bleaching agent. Though it increases the shelf life, just a small serving of sulfur dioxide can be devastating to your body if you have asthma, sulfite sensitivity or sulfite allergy. There are some natural and somewhat healthy preservatives like ascorbic acid, cinnamon, garlic, ginger, honey, and lecithin. I urge Agencies in charge to look into industrial bread baking and ensure that these presevatives are not being used. To the Food Scientists and Technologists here, please kindly confirm or debunk the effects of the above unsafe preservatives based on your knowledge. |

I can't fathom what could have inspired such a name...definitely not The Holy Spirit. "End time Church" what an alias! The real name is way different from that alias

Interesting! A death sentence on a sick baby. I appreciate the idea of the parents to help other sick babies with the raised fund. God will bless them lots. |
What a blow to the Ondo State Nominee! Meanwhile, some Northern States have double while only Lagos and Ogun from the whole of South have double despite there being more of Northerners originally. |
Does she look normal to you? She must be a lost sheep. She does not appear as if she has care. It's a pity many are way out of their way. |
I am impressed! One Governor could have had this project sited in his State but out of useless but pure undiluted greed, asking to reap too much where he did not sow, he let it slip away. I imagine what development and growth this will bring to an already growing Lagos. As much as I hate Dangote for some of his wicked underground business antics, I really appreciate the innovation of this. I have heard about what to expect from this project before now. I patiently await the commencement of operations and the seldom positive effects of Nigerians and Nigeria. Once we stop importing petroleum products, our currency will further strengthen. A candid warning to prospecting militants.... this is not owned by Government and so should not be a target for incessant vandalization, not even once. Let us all hope for the best and when the rewards start to come, may we all be here to witness it all. I pray for another wonderful, thoughtful, masterclass project that will equally make enormous difference in the lives of our Youths and the Nations as a whole in another region of this country. A balanced trade/economic focus in the country is not bad in any way. |
To all that have used Honda cars, thanks a bunch for the good talks. To all that know little or nothing about Honda, thanks all the same. Oh my God! As you have always been good, continue to bless me Lord. Amen! Honda and Benz all the way. |
