It is wrong to use the word "cult" for the Church. The Church is the body of Christ and you have to rever it. If you were brought up in Christianity like you said, you will know that.
Yes, it is unfortunate that every now and then, wrong people are in the position to guide others in matters of faith, causing disunity, chaos, turning the teachings, and so on. The Church however will remain what it is. When Jesus comes back, he will come with his sieve.

I have an infant daughter and there are suggestions that she starts school/crèche.
I wish to hear from parents what experiences you have, positive and negative, about taking their children to school early. The changes in their well-being, feeding, health, confidence, behaviour etc, and what you did in cases of bad outcome.

The Catholic Church is not a cult. The fact that some people in the past have used the positions in the Church to perpetrate evil does not make the Church a cult. What could you probably be privy to that gives you that feeling you are not the ignorant one?
I buttress that the Catholic Church is the most organised. You're allowed to disagree though. The Church was founded by Jesus himself and he chose His first leader. Please disagree. One random man did not just wake up one morning, starting the Church.

The Church will only nullify a marriage if it was based on lies. i.e if one party lied or concealed an information before marriage. A man who is impotent gets married and after the wedding the woman just gets to know. The marriage can be nullified. If he told the woman before marriage and she is fine with it, then the marriage is valid.
Separation is just temporary. It allows for resolutions. When the life of a partner in marriage is threatened, when a marriage becomes toxic, separation is advised.

For those comparing, nullification and separation are not the same. You cannot be wiser than the Church.

First, I want to apologize for the statement insinuating that Catholic Christians are less Christian compared to Pentecostals. That was not meant to be a generalization. The reason why faith is my principal concern is because, as a Christian, there are certain ethics and codes of conduct a person adopts and practices that guide their actions and decisions. Many of the comments are asking for elaboration especially with regards to other aspects besides spirituality. Some of the red flags in terms of his attitude and behavior that give me cause for concern are how he relates with ladies; I found that he cheated on me a couple of times. Some of my friends who are married assure me that it is nothing to worry about because “men will always be men”. However, I feel like overlooking that means ‘settling’. Also, he tends to act like we’re competing for career success. I’m a banker and he works with a company and is well paid. From comments he makes when I make attempts to pursue growth, like take courses or attend conferences to network, his response shows that he thinks it’s a waste of time and resources. I don’t always expect him to give me financial support, even if encouragement. But he feels I should be content with my current status. It scares me that he may staunch my progress after marriage.
I’m no saint myself, but I know marriage is a lifetime affair and just because I didn’t look before I leaped into the relationship doesn’t mean I shouldn’t at this point try to make amends.

Very well. If you start to beat a child early and let the child know why he is being beaten each time and that he won't have to be beaten if he always do right, he will grow to learn that there is right and there is wrong.
