If i can understand you better are you saying this news is in Favor of Saraki , But i can tell you that with the little i know this case at FHC is irrelevant since FHC can't not Question the Jurisdiction of CCB neither can they stop the Trial so i guess the Judge realized this that was why he withdrew from the case initially the case should have been struck out but i guess what he did was another foul play to please 2 Master.

You idiots must understand that no matter what the CCT rules,nothing will be executed as Saraki will remain in power until the Higher courts rule on the case!! Judge declines,the case gets stalled and delayed and who loses?

As far as CCB is concerned there was no case whatsoever at FHC stopping them from going ahead with their trial because they are both equal to each other so i guess the Judge at FHC realized this that was why he honorably withdraw from the Case because the outcome weather good or bad will never have any impact with CCB.

Chukwudi is partly correct. If the PDP guy appeal, the appeal court may grant stay of execution pending determination of the suit.
However, this days, appeal court is very fast. In one to two months appeal court decision will be made. The PDP guy may appeal again at the supreme court. This may take another 3 months.

The PDP senator may still remain a senator for another 6 months.

However, the PDP senator is a goner. I dont see any chance that apeal and supreme court will reverse the decision of the tribunal in this case.

Senatorial and Rep Election issue do not go beyond appeal Court only Governorship and Presidential goes to Supreme Court.

I sincerely think that Saraki has a case to answer. When a lawyer begins to explore legal technicalities instead of focusing on the merits of the charges against his clients, then there is a problem.

However, it is also important to note that the CCT has committed some procedural blunders that could vitiate the proceedings.

More so, the Appeal Court refused granting Saraki’s stay-of-proceeding request, not for lack of merit, but because there had not been any sitting on the matter.

So, I am certain that the Appeal Court will grant further request either for a stay-of-proceeding or Appeal of Judgement.

Lastly, contrary to what some people think, whatever be the outcome of this case is dangerous to the Nigerian state. This is because, the NASS is divided into three------the United PDP and two factions of the APC. Now, if a faction of the divided APC decides to join forces with PDP, this then gives the PDP, majority status.

I fear that APC may lose the Senate presidency if Saraki is removed, except PDP decides not to contest.

Well you have a very good Point but you failed to mentioned the Procedure Blunders that CCT has Violated regarding to the Proceeding so that we can all learn from your point because from my own point of view no law was violated by CCT Unless you are looking for Technicalities and it was that same Technicalities Saraki used in becoming a Senate President initially what their constitution says is that all Members should be in attendance before the commencement of the Election but that same constitution also says in a situation were all members are not present the 2/3 which is about 73 of Members could could go ahead with the election and that was what Saraki relied on knowing fully well that his Colleagues will still make it down to the Senate but he hide under that Technicalities and went ahead with the election for his own selfish reasons.


I assumes this might be the Blunders you are referring to......Saraki said the Constitutions says only the AGF that is permitted to institute such petition against him but he has forgotten that the same constitution also says the AGF office is an Institution that must continue Functioning with or without AGF....To my own Opinion Saraki is fighting a Lost Battle my only advice for him is to resign and look for a way to meddle fences with His Party Leadership so that they can save him from the Humiliation is about to face comes OCT 21, 22 And 23 when his trial resumes.

The Constitution does not Permit DSP to take over from SP weather impeach or Voluntary resign there will be another round of Election in the Senate that is the Stand of Nigeria 1999 Constitution as amended.

Please i need and more explanation on this, Someone sent me some items through USPS From USA without Tracking but he said the lady he met at the USPS office assured him that the ITEMS Will be deliver here within 6-10 days but my Question is Does Usps do Home delivery here because there is no Tracking for me to know when it will arrive so there is no way i can go to any Post office around me here when i don't have tacking number to prove it.......The person that made the shipment gave me the shipment receipt and the custom paper that he filled and he also insured it but my only worried is that USPS does not do Home delivery here Nigeria....So please someone to enlighten me.

If I understand the section of the constitution pasted in previous threads, the worst CCT can do is to ask for his removal as SP. A verdict he can easily appeal in the AP. Here is my Little understanding , Appear Court only said he should not be arrested but does not stop him from appearing at CCT to defend himself , so any in this Situation that Saraki has refused to appear at CCB to defend himself i guess Appeal court hand will be tight because as it stand now no other is stopping Saraki from appearing he only got other not to be arrested and the Chairman of CCB has already made a point that Saraki can not sit in his chamber while his trial is ongoing so i figure he might be arrested if he fail to show up tomorrow at CCB.

Sorry u made a Mistake that was Presidential Elections not Governorship, Beside Jega decided to allow the Presidential Elections in Rivers stand because he knew buhari has already Won the Elections and in other not to delay the Announcement if not the 1.4 millions vote that came from Rivers was a joke.
