My name is Bidemi i am a fashion Stylist, run a vintage store based in Lagos, i am a bespoke mens tailor, i am an aspiring Chef, Turn Up king, all round gentleman (enough of myself), so i got my B1- B2 visa since October last year but haven't travel since then because of work load, so i decided to attend NEW YORK fashion week, i was a bit scared because of the stuff i was reading here but i decided to keep my cool (not my first time of traveling but first time here in the states)

After the Self Screening Exercise i proceeded to the CBP officer

Me: HI sir

Officer: hello, Welcome to JFK, what brings you here the state

Me: New York fashion week

Officer: but your address shows you are staying in Delaware?

Me: you know New York is expensive, so the plan is to come back to New York during fashion Week proper.

Officer: Ok, what food are you carrying because you ticked you have some food items

Me: Pepper, you know as an african man i like my my spice well enough

Officer: Fair Enough, Stamps my passport (Welcome Again)

mind you my mum had packed some stockfish, herbs and all in my luggage. Currently enjoying my one month off work here in the states, Back to New York this week, then Atlanta next week, then Houston pretty much later.

My transcript. interview time was 10:30 am. Queue was so long. After biometrics I was interviewed at Window 7 by a young white guy. he was flowing well with the people at my front, a couple, then he denied them. they were so devastated, I got scared.

Me; Yes I am. ( then I remembered my cousin stays in York not Philadelphia. I added that I'll visit Philadelphia cos thats where my flight will arrive, Philadelphia airport) I quickly corrected myself and told him I'll be staying in York and he nodded). I would have lost this visa if I didnt catch up immediately.

Me; I'm a fashion designer and I own a boutique. I make clothes and sell, with bags and belts.

Me; He is a member of The US military, he is in the US army.

I intend to apply for a visit visa for myself, wife and two kids age 1 & 3. I am my wife have a very decent job. I was denied a us visa in 2012. I was single then and only travel history was a visit to dubai. Since then i have visited the UK three time (One of the trips was with my wife and son my daughter was not born then, she is 1+ now), dubai two times (One of the trips was with my wife and the other was an office training) and Turkey once alone. We intend to visit houston and stay in a hotel during easter of 2018. What are our chances and what would you advise to improve our chances.

apply! you will get it. just be truthful at the interview and u will get ur visa

I'm expecting a package from the u.s through usps...the tracking number doesn't update...it's says still in transit for a month now..from the looks of it..its first class international package...I've gone to the post office..they said it's still on transit also...is it still going to update on the usps website so I know when to go back to the post office?

Please I was sent 2 iPhones 7 from USA to otigba street computer village ikeja Lagos nigeria since 10th of this month with usps First-Class Package International Service and I have been tracking and the last update was on 15th and it just said in transit to destinations and till today it's last tracking update is on 15th, I have call EMS and gave them the code but they said it's not there please I need help anyone

Same here, I was sent an iPhone from US since 29th of September. up till now I haven't gotten it. went to post office, they said it hasn't arrived
