I just kept asking questions till I got to my free hotel room. distance to my hotel room took me more than one hour but it was fun sha as I kept on touring the place. hotel was okay. free wifi, free food etc. next morning, quickly used a train to go to my next boarding flight. |

OmoBendel24: Risky, watch it.... The info supplied before and during the visa interview, did it indicate you got peeps out there, particularly this cousin in question and in Chicago? I have done full load before on a less than two weeks trip without issues but not on my first trip. Yes I indicated that I'm going to visit my cousin. I have a connecting flight from Chicago to my final destination, Philadelphia |

giftdavid112: Each time I come here, I just end up being sad and depressed. When I see old people with long employment histories, properties and all that being rejected I begin to wonder if there is any hope for a young person with few years of experience, money in the account (fixed deposit) and no travel history.
I just want to swear for all those people that spoilt our name. Taking nonimmigrant visa to migrate. Same way I was always discouraged and scared each time I read this thread. I didn't give up though, I said my case is different. Got my visa on a virgin passport and I'll be traveling next week. Just have faith and be bold. what will be will be |

I feel either you didn't brush your teeth , or your appearance is 10/100 , because sometimes they might imagine everything when you are just stepping in . Next time make sure you brush your teeth, tongue , buy expensive cloths , expensive perfume. You will see how you will be welcomed , you can't produce tinubu mouth odor and want a visa . Thank you . Who is this rude fellow? Do you lack home training? Is that how to talk to someone on a public forum. Thats so wrong. U are so rude! Geez |

TokyoBulls: Depends on your choice. Banks give you PTA (Personal Travel Allowance) at N360/$. You can buy from them with your visa, travel ticket and your passport. You can also buy from Travelex at tha airport or any of the registered currency exchange shops at their rate or you exchange with abokis who usually give slightly better rates but be careful so you don't buy fake notes or they give you incomplete Thanks!!! |

I booked a direct flight to Philly from Lagos and the flight has two stops, one at Doha and one at Chicago then the last connecting flight is from Chicago to Philly? what do you mean by if o love myself and I don't want to risk my visa. is it my fault that they gave me two stops? its not like I'm the one who chose to stop at Chicago. |

ladylco: In addition, you need to be very careful particularly with your connecting airports (doha, chicago)
Is Chicago your stated POE on your Day 160 form,? If not be prepared for scrutiny. Make sure you have a clear purposes of visit and adequate cash for your visit in case you are asked.
Above all, odi na ka Chukwu! Commit all in prayers.
Safe trip and all the best. No, Chicago wasn't my point of entry at my DS 160 form. I'm going to Philly. I have a connecting flight from Chicago to Philly. So I'll just show them the ticket from Chicago airport to Philly right? |

KaptainAfrika: I once read a post where a woman was sent back, because there were some disturbing videos on her phone from whatsapp for example videos of terrorists cutting peoples head, that is usually sent on whatsapp. Basically, the crap people send to each other here in Nigeria, on whatsapp could be a red flag. So better to be safe than sorry, I usually just delete all my whatsapp messages. oh thanks a lot |

KaptainAfrika: 1. Keep all your important documents in your hand lugage e.g. passport, hotel booking etc 2. Charge your phone till 100% 3. Confirm if you will have hotel for the long layover. 4. Don't eat what you don't know o. But what's the fun in not trying new stuff. 5. DELETE ALL YOUR WHATSAPP MESSAGES and SMS's and SIGN OUT OF ALL SOCIAL MEDIA APPS. 6. Don't make new friends on your flight, the last thing you want is being mistaken for an accomplice for a drug mule. Don't hold anybody's bags, old women included. 7. Have fun. salsera: You can charge on most Arab airlines. Use USB. Not sure WiFi is free on Qatar may depend on your class of ticket.
There's entertainment I.e TV, movies I'd say eat before your flight...airplane food is small. Relax Use transit time to rest and catch up on messages. Most airports have free WiFi. Find a place to sit and rest near your boarding gate there are always officials around who can help me you locate your transfer gate. Some airports have wash facilities and toilets. Keep your valuables with you always even when sleeping. Thieves dey everywhere.
Enjoy the view and take pics...you wont be the first person to fly so please enjoy your first time .
Since you'll have 2 long flights plan yo get some sleep in the air. Jetlag is serious so take the opportunity to sleep when you can. . thanks oh. thieves ke? make den no try me I go just break pesin head |

And u might be chanced to fly on the A380 airbus plane from Doha to Chicago. A380 is d double-decked plane and also d largest wit cool features. Thanks lol |
