Before I begin, please note that we were allocated these hostels few days to first semester exams and paid #16,500 for a 6 man room

A few weeks ago, a female hostel within the premises of Yaba College of Technology (Bakassi Hall) got burnt and academic activities was suspended for a week with promises to relocate the affected students to new rooms. The school resumed a week later and male students were locked out of their hostels (for reasons best known to the institution).

The school has started the relocation process and the first step was to relocate male students from one of the two male hostels the school has to the laundry room of the other male hostel in a bid to free up rooms for the girls. Attached below is a picture of one of the rooms male students were relocated to.

Dear Nairalanders and all concerned citizens, please come to our aid as you guys are our last line of defense.... We are NOT moving into the laundry rooms and are ready to stage a protest which will shut down the school till January.

Hello NL's, I met this girl about 5yrs ago and we soon started dating, I have been introduced to her parents and she to mine. Though I have a feeling the girl's father is against our union.

I took my girlfriend of 5yrs out yesterday. While we were at the eatery, a very beautiful waitress came to take our orders and I was kinda lost in her beauty that I couldn't even place a order. My girlfriend ended up placing the order for me.

During the meal I noticed my girlfriend was a little quiet but I didn't say anything as I was planning on how to chyke the waitress.

We later left the eatery and headed home... (Na here my trouble start) I tried talking to her in the car but she kept quiet. When we got home, I was becoming uneasy so I made to kiss her but she slapped me! I was taken aback but kept my cool and smiled then she started yelling at me that she saw everything that happened between me and that waitress.

I wanted to apologise but she slapped me again, I just smiled and made for the door but she drew me back and started slapping me

I lost my cool (very bad idea) and hit her, but she became wild and started punching me, I tried fighting her back but she overpowered me and broke my nose. It took the special grace of God and intervention of my neighbour and his three hefty friends to free me from her

Now am so ashamed I can't even leave the room... I really want to call it quit but am afraid she might just break my bones if I do.
