Upwork as a feature called "Specialized Profiles," you can open one and add your other skill. If you create another account, both will be blocked.

I have tried it before and got my PayPal account blocked. I am guessing you are using a Lesotho PayPal, linking a virtual USD account to it might cause issues.

I am not sure you can link Grey's virtual card to PayPal either. If you still want to go the PayPal route, please use Wallets Africa, their virtual dollar card works well with PayPal.

Since GeegPay verification is slow for you, you can use Wise.

Caveat, Upwork to Wise is slow. When I withdraw on Fridays to Wise, if I don't receive my money by Tuesday, I don't panic, I simply grumble.

That said, Wise also does not send to Naira, it can send to your DOM account, but I have no idea how long that will take (never tried it). This leaves you with sending GBP to your Grey account.
Noones is the successor for Paxful which was closed down. You can use it to p2p, by using Wise to buy USDT on the platform, then selling the USDT for NGN. Sounds complicated, but it can be done in about 20 mins. Ignore all those that say stuff like they buy Wise funds and others, you'll most likely fall victim to fraud before finding someone honest, especially when you can do it yourself.

Withdraw USD from Upwork to Payoneer and send that USD to your Grey GBP account (Payoneer will convert the funds for you)

Hi all, please I need your inputs. So there's this client I'm working for at the moment, we agreed they'll be paying me by milestone for the contract.

However, the work I'm doing for them is totally off Upwork and is not something I can submit.
I basically do my work on my PC and push it to their version control infrastructure (think GitHub).

Since the contract started, they've released payments for two milestones so far. And each time the milestone is approved, I do not submit anything (reason above), just a simple message to maybe say thanks.

I'm worried Upwork might think there's something off - that I'm being paid without doing any work (which is false) - and could lead to them suspending my account.

What do y'all think I can do about this? I really hope I'm not breaking any of their rules.

I don't see a problem here, as long as you have an active contract on Upwork and you are getting paid on the platform, you are good.

If any issue arises, they will reach out to you and ask for prove of work.

I once had a client I worked with for about 6 months, the job was customer service and there was nothing to "submit" on Upwork.
