Whether Atiku or Tinubu or Obi, the fact is that 90% of those supporting are only do so for their personal interests.

This might be true for Tinubu and Atiku but for Obi it's totally different. Most of the people I know are voting for the first time next year because of Obi. They want a secured and prosperous Nigeria.

Nobody comes close. I'm from Delta state and I know what Anambra was like before Peter Obi. Infact, before Peter Obi Anambra state was a complete jungle. The first state in Nigeria where a sitting governor was kidnapped by non state actors.

He came in and stabilized the state to the point that Evans the Kidnapper and his cohorts had to relocate away from Anambra state.

It's on record that the then police IG Abubakar Mohammed rated Anambra as the safest state in Nigeria during Peter Obi's tenure.

Where they have Industrial harbour in Onitsha today that houses over 200 companies was a dirty motor park and it was Peter Obi's visionary leadership that turned that place to the industrial Harbour they have today. Peter Obi is the first person to build a 10 lane road in the whole of South East.

Peter was spending heavily on education while primary and secondary schools in Delta were going on strike every 6months even Okowa sent his kids to school in Anambra after Peter Obi raised the standard. Till date people from Delta travel to Anambra to see specialists in their hospitals. My Brother had a health challenge he had to go to Anambra to see a specialist.

There's no project we can point to that Soludo brought to South East.

I see lots of sense in what Governor Soludo wrote.. especially as it bothers on Igbo and the Nigeria's politics. Any region that wants to rule this country, in as much as we are using this bicameral system of government....will have to unite at their base first, then seek alliance with other regions. That's how it can work.

Buhari contested 3 times before he won. See the type of politics Soludo is advocating for is the type that benefits his likes. According to him the igbos should negotiate settlement with Atiku and Tinubu so at the end few Igbos will get juicy positions while the region remains in it's current state just like we had under OBJ's administration where few Igbos got juicy positions including Soludo that was rewarded with CBN governor position but that never translated into any infrastructural development of the region.

Onitsha to Enugu and Aba to Portharcourt roads have remained the worst federal roads in the whole of Nigeria from that time till date.

I don't think any of the so called leading candidates will have any issues making Peter Obi and few other Igbos top ministers and government functionaries but that will be it.

My interest is having a different leadership look into insecurity in Nigeria. I don't have money to pay ransom for myself or my loved ones. We're really living in dangerous times.

Once the refinery is up and running, Dangote refinery will get this oil up to that amount in piecemeal. So as government is supplying him the oil, he would keep accounting for it in its records. It was widely reported in the media that they have even gone aged to approach some banks to raise the money for the stake.

There was never a time crude supply was mentioned. Nnpc paid $2.7B for the stake as far as the available information is concerned. If you have a reputable source to back your claim I will be much interested in learning.

Diesel refined from thjse illegal refineries are as pure as the imported ones. Anyone who had worked around the creeks in the past wouid affirm this. Invite them, give them the needed skills, empower them to do more by issuing them licences with financial back up but with close monitoring. Fuel go be like water in Nigeria. Then, stop subsidy completely and improve surveillance at the creeks. As of 2 days ago,an illegal vessel loading crude was still intercepted.

What you stated here is the only way to turn things around in Nigeria. That $2.7B Nnpc gave to Dangote could have been used to empower lots of modular refineries in the Niger Delta.

It's small businesses that will lift Nigerians out of poverty.

We Niger Deltans have to be smart. The agitation should include modular refineries. So we can pump out as much fuel as possible.

I have always indicated the need for the federal government to take over the duties of local government environmental and sanitation officers. Local governments have failed in Nigeria, so no one is checkmating our market men and women. This is why people sell rotten meat as suya. After drinking that infested piece of crap soaked in ice water and groundnut, they end up spending N5,000 on medical treatment. That's how we recycle poverty in Nigeria. The cost of ignorance is very expensive.

If we hire 500k graduates as environmental specialists, our national health subsidy/insurance budget will be reduced by 60%. Additionally, we would see a remarkable improvement in the purchasing power of the people, our life expectancy over time, and, of course, a reduction in the unemployment rate.

But what do I know? A government bereft of ideas would rather employ 500k youths as political npower agents without roles and responsibilities or 200k personal assistants in ballot snatching and vote buying.

Right now, we are selling sickness in the marketplace and pumping more money to treat preventable illnesses and epidemics.

Sorry but we don't need more of Federal government in our lives as Nigerians. We need less of federal government and more of local government because every Nigerian live in a local government
