But you can afford to waste $507K on a hotel reservation for a conference that we neither have a voice or have any significance for us as Nigerians. You guys couldn’t manage Nigerian house in Newyork.

You maintain more than 10 presidential jets for a government presiding over the poverty capital of the world with over 133M extremely poor people.

Bandits are busy killing farmers while placing local taxes on the few still farming thereby causing major food prices inflation.

Looking for foreign investors will never solve any of these issues.

A serious government have no business traveling out for atleast a year until they solve the issue of food inflation caused by bandits and bad roads. The solution is not on the floor of United Nations General Assembly.

Then you have the most bloated government so far in the history of Nigeria with over 43 ministers.

You always say and publicize negative things about Nigeria

Give me the positive things to say about Nigeria.

Most of you are just living in denial.

Is it the collapsing economy? Or the massive insecurity?

Or the fact that the so called government are so wasteful?

Just tell me where the hope for a better Nigeria lies?

I can tell you where Nigeria will be in the next 10years if we maintain this type of clueless leadership and where a country like India will be in same timeframe.

The last time Nigeria experienced economic growth was in 2014. So where is the hope?

In 10years, we would have added additional 50M extremely poor people to the current figures of 133M.

Dollar will exchange for over #2500.

And in the same timeframe, India will become the 3rd biggest economy overtaking Germany and Japan. And there’s a precedent. They moved from 11th biggest economy in 2013 to 5th biggest in 2023.

In 15years they will be among the only 3 countries that can produce goods and services worth $500 billion yearly.

Palestines even without a proper state structure don’t know what living without electricity feels like until the war broke out.

We should all be ashamed.

Terrible comparison.
Liberia has only about 5,800 polling units in the entire country. With less than 3million registered voters and total land size of about Niger State.
The comparison doesn't make sense.
Nigerians always looking for ways to bring down their Country. The Liberia election is smaller than some State Election

Maybe you haven’t noticed but Nigeria has been left behind.

Kenya for instance has better public institutions than Nigeria.

Nigeria got just 3 votes in its bid to join United Unions Human Right Council.

South Africa is projected to over take Nigeria as the biggest economy in Africa while having less than 1/3 of our population.

If Nigerians don’t come out to protest against the mismanagement of the economy most Nigerians will stay in their homes and die.

Tinubu is telling Nigerians to endure while himself spent over $500K on hotel reservations for UNGA conference in Newyork.

Money for maintenance of presidential jets is not there.

The president of poverty capital of the world maintains over 10 presidential jets while over 60% of your citizens are living under multidimensional poverty. 133M to be precise. We dey play for this country.

These lawyers are so funny. So forgery that has been proven on a black and white is what Nigerians shouldn’t talk about. I read that deposition and it’s so clear we’re dealing with forgery. The idiots talking about 3rd party vendors never read that deposition. The original certificate is still with CSU and was never picked up so where is the vendor narrative coming from?

Then we should wait for Supreme Court to tell us if there’s forgery or not.

Nigeria is doomed, clearly from the recent development. Only the content of the student record is is more than enough reason for Tinubu to tender a resignation. Progressive societies have seen their leader resign for a little error as using a personal email for official government work.

3 different date of births was uncovered during this discovery.

1952 according to Inec record, 1954 according to CSU record , and 1955 according to Tinubu’s application letter.

Claim that he attended Lagos government college in 1970 while the school was established in 1974 portrays Tinubu as a career criminal. Then there’s the issue of whether or not the $460K forfeiture is criminal or civil? Like did this man put a spell on all Nigerians?

Like what is wrong with us?

People that should know better have all betrayed their conscience because of greed for money.

Even if we’re the lone voice we will continue to talk about it for posterity sake.

If you’re looking at building wealth in Nigeria avoid the Naira as much as possible because there’s no bottom yet. Use the naira to buy machinery or land or worst case scenario buy Bitcoin because every economy is driven by hope, rule of law and strong public institutions and none is present in today’s Nigeria. Nigeria is both hopeless and helpless.

I wonder how his administration will go out there to market Nigerian economy with so much baggage hanging on his neck.

Honestly, it's quite pathetic

Imagine him saying that the Igbos needs healing
Healing from what exactly

Atiku, a Northerner is dragging their Drug Lord in the mud and disgracing him internationally, you will never see them insult the entire Northern Nigeria, imagine if it was Peter Obi that went to the US court to expose Tinubu's certificate Forgery scandal, the entire Igbos race would have been insulted.

Ofcourse Fulani are their master. They have a slave master relationship with Fulani and that’s why they dare not drag Atiku.

It’s Nigeria that needs healing by electing credible leaders. The people that have been living in IDP camps haven been chased out of their ancestral homes need healing. The families of the 30 farmers kidnapped last week in Kaduna and the female students kidnapped in Zamfara from their hostel they all need healing. There’s just so much to mention.

The funny thing about Nigeria is that people tend to connote political victories to tribal victories. But that’s an illusion.

From what we have seen what did the people of katsina or the north in general benefit from Buhari’s government? At the end few of his friends and relatives became billionaires but the vast majority became poorer.

Same thing will be the outcome of Tinubu’s presidency. Just a few of his clicks from his administration in Lagos will become billionaires and powerful. The figure for out of school children in the south west will likely double from current figures of 1.5M to 3M with raising poverty figures.

Seunmsg, I won't agree with you on this bro

Peter Obi is qualified for the highest office of the land

Infact, he was the most qualified of them all if you can look at it objectively without any bias

This is someone who was a millionaire with verifiable businesses long before he joined politics, became a governor for eight years and a vice presidential candidate for PDP in 2019

Seunmsg, you seem to have a personal hatred for Peter obi

Why you dey respond to that clown?

It’s on record Peter had better HDI than Both Tinubu and Fashola combined.

It’s pure hate nothing else. The criminal minded people supporting a fraudulent candidate. Everything about Tinubu is fraud.

He’s having beef with the youngest chairman of a bank in Nigeria at the age of 34. Led the bank to move from tier 3 to tier 2 and today it’s a tier 1 bank.

Peter Obi has been a major player in the Nigerian economy even before politics.
I can count more than 10 solid companies he is affiliated with but na Tinubu school cert we dey find since.

From date of birth to academic qualifications to drug dealing affiliation. What a profile for one person.

He should leave the Igbos out of the whole nonsense in Nigeria.

There’s no tribe doing better than the Igbos in Nigeria despite not having the presidency. Academics, industry? They’re well represented.

The Igbos will continue to strive but the unfortunate thing is that Nigeria will continue to retrogress.

In 10years from now, poverty rate in Nigeria would have doubled. Naira will exchange above #2000.

Nigeria is both hopeless and helpless. No business person invest in an economy where there’s no hope. Reason people are selling their properties to relocate abroad.

We like to absolve ourselves of responsibility. Selling off state assets is just a lazy attempt to solve the problem of corruption in our economy. State owned refineries work everywhere else even in Venezuela but why not in Nigeria.

The Federal Ministry of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy (FMACCE) in Nigeria has unveiled a strategic roadmap to grow the country's creative economy to $100 billion in GDP contribution by 2030.

The plan which was shared via its social media pages on Monday focuses on key sectors like music, film, software, museums, fashion, festivals, and the culinary arts. It aims to create jobs, empower creators, drive exports, and boost Nigeria's cultural influence globally.

Major initiatives involve setting up creative hubs and cultural centers in cities like Lagos and Abuja to serve as incubators for Nigerian talent.

Funding will come from government allocations, public-private partnerships, investment funds, sponsorships, and other sources.

See the plan below.

Lol… Entertainment can never grow our economy. Manufacturing and Agriculture will only be the bedrock of our economy considering our population.

They need to focus on manufacturing and Agriculture it’s that simple.

Naira is now N1005 naira, the blowback from this is yet to come...for an import dependent country, hunger and starvation of biblical proportions are looming.

well.well Since my last post, you have all gotten poorer by more than half. Regardless of what industry you are domiciled in within the nigerian economy. POSTED SO MANY WARNINGS HERE PRIOR TO THE ELECTION, BUT HOW DO YOU REDEEM A NATION ON A CLEAR SUICIDAL PATH? Read to the end, I will proffer my perceived worse case scenarios and perceived solutions to this quagmire we find ourselves in.

Mr, Wales theory of only 6.8 Billion dollars needed is purely subjective. Even if that money is put in the foreign exchange market now, a new deficit will be created in a mere couple of months and we will be right back in the same position.

I have been tracking tracking economies, foreign exchange rate, global policies and Gdp growth for over 20 years now, ONE key thing needed in stability of foreign exchange rate is Perception. Perception itself has even surpassed ;local production in in terms of factors that determine foreign exchange rate since the advent of smart phones and information on the go.

We are a nation of Big Tribes and many smalls ones, Decades ago those in power figured out we have to balance the egos of these three big tribes to have a balanced political, economical and even social environment, The APC regime came in and completely threw us into this satanic tribalistic territory where igbo hating and marginalization is a policy and is barefaced, and we are all going to suffer for it. Here is why

The igbo/igboid people are a majority in nigeria, and might be even more than the yorubas, we can not say for sure without a proper census. (I noticed on wiki the yorubas have gone on to increase their population percent to 20 percent and left the igbo one at 18 percent. although both tribes were listed at 17 percent just three years ago). What we now know for a fact is that the igbos and their sympathizers do have the largest online presence in nigeria, we can tell from the Peter Obi online polls and how he always won with over 80 percent regardless of how it was framed.

If you have these group of aggrieved nigerians on every social platform bashing and dissing nigeria, there is no way our economy or currency can survive that.

My people we have now dived into this electric pond, these is no easy way out. The easiest path would have been allowing an igbo person become president this time when it was rightfully their turn, so that we as can country can heal and build the sense of nationalism that every nationhood needs to survive and build anything on in the long run.

Northerners were ok with the rotation of power to the south, But NO some south westerners refused, they hijacked the election and took the country into this highspeed train off a cliff and that is where we are now. Besides the guy who was elected is someone who has a, should I say God complex or dictatorial complex and that really compounds the situation, a man who felt too big to attend a debate, give an interview and was nominating people to answer a question that was asked to him is a person who believes he is above all and sundry and does not care about the feelings of the masses, and that is the kind of person who would go on to devalue the extremely sensitive naira and remove subsidy at the same time, without meticulously looking at this issue from all corners first, tighten up corrupt lose ends on both sectors before making a policy change. Those of you who voted for the man knew exactly what he was, how are your lives now? It doesnt matter how rich you are as nigerian, you are definitely getting fxcked over and bleeding money if you have nigeria as your main source of income. Not unless you are a corrupt looting politician.

Anyways, our next stop in devaluation is 1500, but honestly there appears to be no end to where we are going because thing with this type of devaluation comes fear and with every deeper devaluation comes an even deeper fear and uncertainty with fuels the next devaluation. And where we are heading to venezuelan and zimbabwean levels of devaluation which brings absolute chaos and crime at extreme levels never before seen, nobody driving a nice car or living in a nice house would feel safe. Well dressed people will be out on the streets begging for food, Mothers will prostitute themselves and their daughters to knowledge of their family. Those who thought they were now big boys on 300k salary will only be able to spend their salary on food and transport. No more tokunbo cars. Those who will survived are those who planned for multiple survivable guaranteed sources of income, minimal monthly cost and rents. I was in zimbabwe at the height of their crisis, this is what was obtainable. Look up videos of venezuela on youtube to get the point.

Here are some of my perceived solutions.

As much as we all know they would hate to, the APC government should be trying to pacify the igbo people by balancing their appointments, an igbo guy should have been Senate president, massage the egos of these people we need them to believe we are in this together. Disown and fire any member of government who makes any perceived hate speech against igbos or pretty much any other tribe, and possible people who make this their means of staying relevant, I mean tribal jingoist like FFK and Omokri. I honestly doubt that this would ease the tribal tension we have now in the country but its not a bad start. Because I see the igbos are being haunted by all these extreme tribalist statements from government officials, for example you can see how the judges at the PEPT sounded, you can clearly hear the words from apc online trolls right from their mouth, Absolutely shocking. Honestly i think pacifying the igbo people at this point may not work, Too much harm has been done, maybe in 4 years tinubu should step aside and let and igbo person take over, but at that point this country would be far too gone in the wilderness.

Option 2 is bend over ass cheeks open and let the french have their way, sign the agreement for ECO to be used as the single currency for ecowas backed by the french and the Euro, they have always wanted to have us under their belt and are partly to be blamed for the political and currency crisis we find ourselves in.. But we are here now in desperate moments and desperate measures are needed.

Option 3 is dollarize the economy. Dollar should be accepted as a means for payment in all sectors and all forms of trading. That is itself is another decision that comes with its own upper cuts.

Shalom!

Please permission to share this on other social media platforms. This is so apt.

Perception is everything.

The Nigeria Export Promotion Council should be turned into Nigeria Export Promotion and Investment Agency.

The FG can use their discretion in scrapping Nigeria Investment Promotion Council or merge them both.

The Nigeria Export Promotion Council have the database of those who have successfully exported charcoal, cassava chips, cashew nuts, and so on from Nigeria.

These companies can be expanded to create a paradigm shift from focus on oil to agro processing and other commodities for export.

This will increase our forex earnings, and also create massive jobs employment opportunities for all Nigeria youths both the employable and unemployable ones and boost tax revenue in all ramifications.

They have succeeded in whatever by exporting their products out of Nigeria, partnership with the Federal Government for business and industry expansion should be strategized for industrialization and economy boost.

It is God's wisdom that Joseph used to save Egypt from famine, only wisdom can save us now.

Peace!!!

We must first solve the issue of insecurity so farmers can go back to farm. That is the first baby step that should be taken to solve the economic crisis. Any other thing is secondary at this point.

Bandits are currently in control of every locality with high agricultural activities. North central, North west and North East. It’s not a coincidence.

A better country should be your prayer, not complaining upon complaints. Your preferred candidate cld be worse, so only God can help us..
Tinubu footprints is mkin Lagos an active zone, that alone cld drive in investors. Investment is a risk pool

You start when you have rule of law and strong public institutions. Secondly I don’t have any prayer to waste on Nigeria.

Prayer didn’t build China or India why do you even think that prayer will build Nigeria?

Please stop talking about Lagos. Lagos is simply a glorified slum.

Visit Bangalore in India then you can have an idea of what a city should look like. This city took shape within the last 10years.

India moved from 11th biggest economy in 2013 to 5th biggest economy in 2023. And in the next 5years they’re projected to become the 3rd biggest economy over taking Japan and Germany. And ironically, within same period Nigeria produced more poor people than any other country in the world.

Last week APC chieftains Wale Edun and Fayemi confessed that the last time we experienced economic growth was in 2014. But you people have continued to support the same people to continue their mismanagement of the country but expect prayer to build the country. Lol

In the short term Nigeria need to solve the issue of insecurity so farmers can go back to farm. Foreign direct investment is not going to solve insecurity for us.
